  • Golden Knights' Tanner Laczynski: Up from minors

Laczynski was summoned from AHL Henderson on Thursday.

Laczynski has 13 goals and 35 points in 32 outings with Henderson in 2025-26. He hasn't played for Vegas yet this season, but he did record a goal in eight regular-season appearances with the Golden Knights in 2024-25.

  • Sabres' Konsta Helenius: Promoted from minors

Helenius was recalled from AHL Rochester on Thursday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.

Helenius has been lighting it up in the minors, racking up nine goals and 21 helpers in 34 appearances for the Americans. The 19-year-old center will likely serve as an emergency depth option versus Montreal on Thursday, though he would be making his NHL debut if he got into the lineup ahead of Tyson Kozak.

  • Josh Dunne C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Dunne: Lands on injured reserve

Dunne (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.

The Sabres announced Wednesday that Dunne is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, so it isn't surprising to see him officially placed on injured reserve. The 27-year-old will presumably be sidelined until after the Olympic break, which concludes in late February.

  • Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: On injured reserve

Dellandrea (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, per Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News.

Dellandrea was already considered week-to-week, so his move to IR isn't a surprise. The 25-year-old has two goals and 11 points in 42 appearances in 2025-26. The Sharks now have a roster spot open if they wish to activate Will Smith (upper body) off IR. Smith is expected to miss Thursday's game against Washington, but he might be an option Friday versus Detroit.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Dealing with upper-body injury

Colton is questionable against the Predators on Friday due to an upper-body injury, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Colton joins a growing list of injured forwards in Colorado, as the team remains without Gabriel Landeskog (upper body) and Joel Kiviranta (lower body). The Avs were already practicing without a full complement of 12 forwards Thursday, so they may need multiple call-ups from the minors ahead of Friday's contest.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Placed on IR

Thomas (lower body) was designated for injured reserve Thursday and will be out for at least two weeks.

Thomas could be in danger of missing all 10 of the Blues' games prior to the Olympic break, with the club saying he would be re-evaluated at the two-week mark. With the lengthy layoff, the 26-year-old center will almost certainly miss the 80-point threshold for the first time since 2022-23. In the meantime, Brayden Schenn figures to continue serving in a first-line role with Thomas on the shelf.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Not available for Friday

Thomas (lower body) has been ruled out for Friday's clash in Tampa Bay, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Thomas was injured Saturday, and Friday will mark his second straight game out of the lineup. The 26-year-old center has 11 goals and 22 assists over 42 games this season. He could return as early as Sunday in Edmonton.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Tallies on power play

Zegras scored a power-play goal on seven shots, added two PIM and went minus-3 in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Sabres.

Zegras had gone three games without a point, his longest slump of the season. The 24-year-old's downturn on offense is part of a larger trend of low-scoring play from the Flyers. Overall, Zegras has 18 goals, 42 points (14 on the power play), 102 shots on net and 34 PIM across 45 appearances. He remains firmly in a top-six role.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Devils' Cody Glass: Scores early Wednesday

Glass scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken.

Glass has three goals over his last three games after a stretch in which he scored just once in 12 outings. The 26-year-old's role remains pretty steady as the third-line center, so there will be some hills and valleys in his production. For the season, he's at 10 goals, 12 points, 58 shots on net, 28 hits, 16 blocked shots and 21 PIM through 36 appearances.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Playing Thursday

Barron (upper body) will be in action versus the Wild on Thursday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Barron returns following three games on the shelf due to his upper-body injury. Prior to getting hurt, the 27-year-old winger was stuck in a seven-game goal drought during which he generated 14 shots and two helpers. With Barron reclaiming a spot on the fourth line, youngster Danny Zhilkin will serve as a healthy scratch.
