  • Senators' Michael Amadio: Hands out assist in win

Amadio notched an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Canucks.

Amadio is still stuck in a 15-game goal drought, and he's picked up just three assists in that span. The 29-year-old is still seeing third-line minutes, but the lack of offense has taken him out of the mix for consideration in most fantasy formats. For the season, he's up to 17 points, 57 shots on net, 67 hits, 25 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 45 contests.

  • Boone Jenner C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Boone Jenner: Two points, two hits in win

Jenner had a goal and an assist Tuesday in a 5-3 win over Calgary.

His goal stood as the winner. Jenner has eight goals and 15 assists in 32 games this season, and eight of those (three goals, five assists) in his last nine contests. Jenner is hurt far too often, but when healthy, he brings a real edge to the ice, and he can obviously score. He put up two hits Tuesday and has 73 hits in 32 games this season.

  • Maple Leafs' Calle Jarnkrok: Nets lone goal in loss

Jarnkrok scored a goal in Tuesday's 6-1 loss to the Mammoth.

Jarnkrok had been scratched for the previous two games. He checked back into the lineup for Nicholas Robertson (lower body), who is day-to-day after getting hurt versus the Avalanche on Monday. The goal was Jarnkrok's second in his last six outings, and he's up to six tallies, 26 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-7 rating through 28 appearances. The 34-year-old forward has mostly played in a bottom-six role when he gets into the lineup.

  • Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Big three-point effort carries win

Coyle had two goals and an assist in a 5-3 win over the Flames on Tuesday.

The veteran pivot had a whopping seven shots Tuesday. Coyle has nine goals, 20 assists and 71 shots in 46 games this season. His best production came under very structured systems, and the arrival of Rick Bowness as head coach will instantly inject both structure and pace into the Blue Jackets. Coyle could thrive in that kind of system.

  • Jack McBain C | UTA

Mammoth's Jack McBain: Collects three points in win

McBain scored a goal on seven shots, dished two assists, added two PIM, doled out three hits and went plus-4 in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

McBain hadn't logged a multi-point effort since Dec. 3 versus the Ducks. The 26-year-old set up both of Dylan Guenther's goals in the second period before scoring one of his own in the third. McBain is now at six goals, 68 shots on net, 159 hits, 33 blocked shots, 45 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 47 contests. If McBain and Guenther stick together alongside Michael Carcone, that trio could emerge as an energy line with scoring potential for the Mammoth.

  • Morgan Frost C | CGY

Flames' Morgan Frost: First goal in 13 games

Frost had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to Columbus on Tuesday.

It was his first goal in 13 games (three assists). Frost has 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) and 85 shots in 46 games this season. The third-line center could see an uptick in fantasy value if ongoing rumors of a Nazem Kadri trade ever happen. As it stands, there are a lot better options than Frost at such a deep position.

  • Flames' Mikael Backlund: Recent surge brings value

Backlund had a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to Columbus on Tuesday.

Backlund has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games. He has picked up the pace of late, delivering 13 points, including six goals, in his last 12 games. Backlund had 16 points (five goals, 11 assists) in his first 34 games this season. Funny enough, the perennial 30-something point pivot is on a 50-plus point pace for the third time in an 18-season career. There may be room for a guy like Backlund in some daily formats while he's this hot.

  • Kyle MacLean C | NYI

Islanders' Kyle MacLean: Lights lamp Tuesday

MacLean scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Jets.

MacLean ended a 12-game point drought with the goal. He was scratched twice in that span, as the Islanders have started to rotate players on the fourth line a bit. MacLean has a modest four points, 25 shots on net, 57 hits, 27 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 30 appearances this season. He could find it tougher to stay in the lineup once Bo Horvat (lower body) is able to return.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Earns 500th career assist

Scheifele logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

Scheifele's second helper of the game was the 500th of his career, a milestone he reached in 924 regular-season outings. The center has been a boom-or-bust player lately, earning six multi-point efforts and five scoreless outings over his last 11 games. He's up to a total of 54 points (22 goals, 32 helpers), 97 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 45 appearances.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Starting to snipe more

Pettersson scored a goal in a 2-1 loss to Ottawa on Tuesday.

He has a goal in each of his last two games (seven shots) and five goals (one assist) in his last nine contests. Pettersson is in the second season of his eight-year contract with an average annual value of $11.6 million, and he's having trouble living up to the lofty expectations that naturally come with that kind of deal. He has 13 goals, 15 assists and 79 shots in 38 games this season. The Orcas are awful right now -- they're winless in eight games -- and Pettersson is frustrated. We can't help but think Vancouver would trade him, but that deal would be almost impossible to move without him showing he's more 2022-23 than 2024-25.
