  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Erupts with five points Sunday

Hertl scored twice on four shots, added three assists and went plus-3 in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Sharks.

Hertl went ballistic on offense in this game against his former team. One goal and one assist came on the power play, but Hertl was effective in all areas during the massive performance. He's now at 18 goals, 39 points (16 on the power play), 120 shots on net, 55 hits and a minus-1 rating through 44 appearances. Since Hertl was traded to Vegas on March 8, 2024, he's racked up six goals and six assists over seven games against the Sharks, with nine of those points coming over four matchups in 2025-26.

  • Ethen Frank C | WAS

Capitals' Ethen Frank: Tallies on power play

Frank scored a power-play goal on five shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Predators.

Frank has scored in consecutive contests for the second time this season. The 27-year-old winger is up to eight goals, 16 points, 55 shots on net, 27 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 35 appearances. Frank is in a middle-six role at even strength but is gaining time on the power play, which could help boost his offense.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: One of each Sunday

Stamkos scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, and logged three hits in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.

Stamkos had gone three contests without a point, ending a stretch of 17 points in 12 outings where he didn't have a multi-game dry spell. The 35-year-old has still made significant improvements compared to earlier in the season, with Sunday's effort getting him to the 30-point mark on the year. He has 19 goals, 30 points (nine on the power play), 107 shots on net, 43 hits, 20 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-10 rating through 45 appearances so far.

  • Jack McBain C | UTA

Mammoth's Jack McBain: Pots goal Sunday

McBain scored a goal and added four PIM in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.

McBain had been limited to one assist over his previous nine outings. The 26-year-old center ended the goal drought at 16:20 of the first period, tying the game at 1-1. McBain now has five goals, 12 points, 61 shots on net, 43 PIM, 156 hits, 33 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 46 appearances, primarily in a bottom-six role.

  • Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Pockets power-play helper

Fantilli notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal, three hits and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.

Fantilli has lacked the finishing touch for a few weeks, but his helper Sunday was his sixth over the last 12 games. The 21-year-old center is seeing steady top-six minutes and has 32 shots on net during his goal drought, so it's only a matter of time before his luck turns around. For the season, he's up to 28 points (five on the power play), 120 shots on net, 53 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating over 45 appearances.

  • Blue Jackets' Charlie Coyle: Nets power-play tally

Coyle scored a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.

Coyle snapped a five-game point drought with the goal. The 33-year-old has seen steady usage as a middle-six center this season, and he's also commanding a spot on the first power-play unit. That assignment is where he's earned four of his 26 points this season, though his goal Sunday was his first with the man advantage. He's at seven tallies, 19 helpers, 64 shots on net, 64 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 45 appearances.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Two helpers in Sunday's loss

Perfetti notched two assists in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

The 24-year-old winger posted his second straight two-point performance, helping to set up tallies by Jonathan Toews and Gabriel Vilardi in the second period. Perfetti has found a groove since the calendar flipped to January, picking up a goal and six points over six games this month.

  • Jack Hughes C | NJ

Devils' Jack Hughes: Two helpers in Sunday's loss

Hughes pocketed two assists in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Jets.

Both helpers came on Cody Glass goals in the second period. Hughes has gone nine straight games without finding the back of the net himself, but the 24-year-old has collected six assists over the last six contests. On the season, Hughes has 11 goals and 27 points in 27 games.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Devils' Cody Glass: Lights lamp twice in loss

Glass scored two goals in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Jets.

Both tallies came in the first 8:08 of the second period, giving the Devils a 3-2 lead, but the visitors' offense went cold the rest of the way. Glass had just one point, a goal, in the prior 12 games, and on the season he has nine goals but just 11 points in 34 contests.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Managing lower-body injury

Howden isn't in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Sharks due to a lower-body injury, SinBin.vegas reports.

Howden is considered day-to-day due to his injury, and he'll have a few days to rest before Wednesday's matchup against the Kings. Alexander Holtz will take his place in the lineup against San Jose. Howden has logged points in six of his last nine appearances, recording four goals, two assists, 12 hits, three blocked shots and two PIM while averaging 14:59 of ice time across that span.
