Oliver Moore C | CHI
Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Nets lone goal in loss
Moore scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-3 in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals.
Moore has earned five points over his last six games, with four of those points coming on the power play. His goal was all the Blackhawks could muster with a lineup depleted by a stomach illness. The 20-year-old Moore is up to five goals, 14 points, 40 shots on net, 18 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 32 appearances this season.

Nic Dowd C | LV
Capitals' Nic Dowd: Snags helper in Friday's win
Dowd recorded an assist, two shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Dowd hasn't scored since Dec. 11 versus the Hurricanes, but he hasn't gone more than three games without a point since, earning five helpers over 14 contests in that span. The 35-year-old defensive center continues to see key minutes in a shutdown role. He's earned 11 points, 36 shots on net, 31 PIM, 59 hits, 27 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 37 outings this season.

Ethen Frank C | WAS
Capitals' Ethen Frank: Buries goal in win
Frank scored a goal and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Frank ended an eight-game goal drought with the tally. The 27-year-old winger has been in a bottom-six role lately, which won't give him a ton of opportunities on offense. He's contributed seven goals, 15 points, 50 shots on net, 26 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 34 outings overall.

Connor McMichael C | WAS
Capitals' Connor McMichael: One of each in win
McMichael scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.
McMichael's first-period tally stood as the game-winner, and he also set up a Justin Sourdif goal in the second. The goal snapped a 13-game stretch without one, though McMichael has heated up with seven helpers over his last six outings as well. The 24-year-old is now at six goals, 21 assists, 88 shots on net and a plus-7 rating across 45 appearances in a middle-six role this season.

Aleksanteri Kaskimaki C | STL
Blues' Aleksanteri Kaskimaki: Nets two goals in AHL win
Kaskimaki scored twice in AHL Springfield's 7-4 win over Hartford on Friday.
Kaskimaki has five goals and three assists over nine games after a stint in the NHL with the Blues. For the season, the Finnish forward has nine goals and 15 points through 25 appearances at the AHL level. The 21-year-old forward likely still needs a bit of time to develop, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him challenge for a full-time NHL job in 2026-27.
-
Jacob Quillan C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Jacob Quillan: Four points in AHL return
Quillan scored three goals and added an assist in AHL Toronto's 6-1 win over Belleville on Friday.
Quillan made a massive impact after a 10-day stint in the NHL. He also had a six-game, eight-point streak prior to his recent call-up. Quillan is up to eight goals, 27 points, 44 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 27 appearances. If he can improve his goal count consistently, he shouldn't need to do too much more to become a regular at the NHL level, though he's been limited to bottom-six minutes with the Maple Leafs this year.
-
Tristan Broz C | PIT
Penguins' Tristan Broz: Four points in AHL win
Broz scored a goal and added three assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 5-1 win over Charlotte on Friday.
Broz was limited to just seven points in 12 outings in December, so this was a positive performance to get him back on track. The 23-year-old winger is now at 11 goals and 24 points over 32 appearances this season. He's also earned a call-up and his NHL debut this season, but Broz will need to continue to play well with WBS to get more opportunities with the big club.

Jan Chovan C | LA
Kings' Jan Chovan: Goal, assist in OHL loss
Chovan scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Sudbury's 4-2 loss to Niagara on Friday.
Chovan will likely get an expanded role over the remainder of the season, as the Wolves have sold off some players in the midst of a lost year. Chovan is now at eight goals and 22 points over 32 appearances this season. The Kings prospect, a 2025 sixth-round pick, will likely take a long time to reach the NHL.

Alexander Kerfoot C | UTA
Mammoth's Alex Kerfoot: Exits Friday's contest
Kerfoot (upper body) won't finish Friday's game versus the Blues.
Kerfoot sustained the injury during the first period, and it'll keep him out of the rest of the contest. The 31-year-old forward can be considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Blue Jackets. If Kerfoot can't play, Kailer Yamamoto or Liam O'Brien would be candidates to enter the lineup.

Roger McQueen C | ANA
Ducks' Roger McQueen: Two goals in Providence win
McQueen scored twice in Providence College's 6-1 win over the University of Maine on Friday.
McQueen is up to eight goals and 18 points in 19 appearances for the Friars this season. The Ducks prospect has had no trouble adjusting to the higher level of play in the NCAA compared to the WHL, as he's been right around a point-per-game pace all season. The 10th overall pick from 2025 should continue to put up plenty of offense for Providence in the second half of the campaign.
