Beniers scored a power-play goal on four shots, blocked two shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Wild.

Beniers has eight goals on the season, four of which have come over the last five games. He also has two assists in January, and three of his six points this month have come with the man advantage. The 23-year-old center is up to 27 points (nine on the power play), 80 shots on net, 37 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 42 appearances. Beniers has teased with potential before, and at a position as deep as center, fantasy managers can afford to wait and see if his surge on offense lasts.

Bennett scored twice Thursday in a 6-2 loss to Montreal.

Since Dec. 17, Bennett has put up at least one point in 10 of his last 11 games (six goals, six assists). He sits third in team scoring this season with 33 points (16 goals, 17 assists) and 110 shots in 43 games. Bennett is on a career pace, and his impact in Florida is undeniable.

Pinto scored a goal on three shots and added four PIM in Thursday's 8-2 loss to the Avalanche.

The goal ended an eight-game drought for Pinto, who had three assists in that span and also missed 10 contests due to a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old scoring pace has predictably cooled after his impressive start to the year. He's still at 13 goals, nine assists, 75 shots on net, 38 hits, 20 blocked shots, 20 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 33 appearances. Pinto should be capable of reaching the 20-goal mark for the third time in four years and is also on pace to top 40 points for the first time.

Kapanen scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-2 win over the Panthers on Thursday.

And with that, Kapanen moved into top spot on the rookie goal list with 15. He sits fourth overall on the points list with 26, behind teammate Ivan Demidov (36), Beckett Sennecke (33) and Matthew Schaefer (29). Kapanen is on a three-game goal streak (three goals, two assists), and he has four goals in his last five games. Overall, the 22 year old has 15 goals, 11 assists, 10 PIM and 78 shots in 44 games.

Colton notched three assists, four shots on goal, two hits and a plus-3 rating in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Senators.

Colton had been limited to just three helpers over his previous 17 games before matching that output in this huge win. The 29-year-old helped out on goals by Josh Manson, Brent Burns and Brock Nelson. Colton has filled a middle-six role this season, earning five goals, 14 helpers, 94 shots on net, 93 hits and a plus-12 rating across 43 outings.

Necas scored a power-play goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Senators.

Necas had gone four games without a goal, and two contests without a point, entering Thursday's action. The 26-year-old winger is up to 20 goals, 55 points, 97 shots on net, 46 hits and a plus-39 rating over 43 appearances this season. Necas is still in position to push for his first 100-point campaign as a part of the Avalanche's high-flying offense.

Zary scored a goal Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Boston.

It was his seventh goal of the season. Zary has scuffled this season, and he's on pace to deliver at the same level he did last season (27 points; 54 games), albeit in a whole season. It feels like Zary is on a backwards slide in his development, Part of that is on him, and part of it is on the way his coaches deploy him. Zary is on the third line when he'd be best served in the top-six.

Nelson scored twice and added an assist in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Senators.

Nelson's first goal was a power-play tally that helped him secure his fifth-straight 20-goal season. The 34-year-old is on a tear with seven goals and five assists over his last seven outings. The center is now at 21 tallies, 37 points (10 on the power play), 93 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 43 appearances this season.

MacKinnon scored a goal on five shots and dished three assists in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Senators.

Two of MacKinnon's helpers came on the power play. This was his third four-point effort in the last five games, though he had been held off the scoresheet in the last two matchups versus the Panthers and Lightning. The superstar center has rarely been quiet for long this season, accumulating a stunning 36 goals, 42 assists, 197 shots on net and a plus-48 rating through 43 appearances.

Eriksson Ek sustained an undisclosed injury when he got tangled up with another player near the bench during Thursday's game versus the Kraken, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Eriksson Ek left the game in the second period. Head coach John Hynes wasn't overly concerned about the injury, labeling Eriksson Ek as day-to-day. His status for Saturday versus the Islanders is uncertain, but it doesn't appear to be a long-term concern even if he misses a couple of contests.
