Denver Barkey C | PHI
Flyers' Denver Barkey: Scores, assists Friday
Barkey recorded a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Friday's 7-3 win over the Avalanche.
Barkey is far from being a consistent scoring weapon despite his top-six role, but that isn't surprising for a 20-year-old rookie. He has done a good job of late, posting five points (one goal, four helpers) over his last five contests. Since making his NHL debut against the Rangers on Dec. 20 with a two-assist effort, the 2023 third-round pick has racked up eight points in 16 appearances with the Flyers.

Morgan Frost C | CGY
Flames' Morgan Frost: Pots goal Friday
Frost scored a power-play goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals.
Frost opened the scoring for the Flames with a wrister at the 6:09 mark of the first period. It was his 10th goal of the season, but he's found the back of the net just twice in 11 January outings. Frost's bottom-six role also limits his fantasy upside considerably.

Alexei Protas C | WAS
Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Scores first goal since injury
Protas had a goal, three shots on net, one hit and two blocked shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flames.
Protas scored the eventual game-winning goal with a wrister at the 7:35 mark of the third period. It marked his 17th goal of the season, and it was the first in eight games since he returned to the lineup from a lower-body injury. He hadn't scored since a defeat to the Senators on Jan. 1.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Two-point effort Friday
Eichel scored a goal and added an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over Toronto.
The star center opened the scoring just 66 seconds into the first period, converting a tic-tac-toe passing sequence that Ivan Barbashev started from behind the Toronto net. Eichel has gotten onto the scoresheet in 11 straight games, a stretch in which he's piled up seven goals and 20 points. He's now topped 60 points in four consecutive regular seasons.

Jakub Demek C | LV
Golden Knights' Jakub Demek: Resumes playing in AHL
Demek (undisclosed) was loaned to AHL Henderson on Jan. 5.
Demek started the 2025-26 campaign on Vegas' injured non-roster list, but he has resumed playing at the AHL level. He hasn't earned a point in two minor-league outings while posting five shots on goal and a minus-4 rating.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Tallies power-play goal in win
Duchene scored a power-play goal in Friday's 3-2 win over St. Louis.
Duchene leveled the game at two scores apiece just under eight minutes into the second period. With the power-play tally, he is up to five goals, 12 points, 38 shots on net and 11 blocks through 27 games this season. His goal Friday snapped a four-game streak without a point and a five-game run without a goal. Due to the upper-body injury that kept him out of the lineup for a month and a half near the start of the campaign, the 35-year-old center will likely take a large step back compared to the point-per-game season he enjoyed a year ago. However, Duchene remains in a strong spot to post numbers inside the Stars' top six, giving him decent fantasy value in standard formats moving forward.

Wyatt Johnston C | DAL
Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Finds twine on power play
Johnston scored a power-play goal, distributed a power-play assist, fired four shots on net and served two PIM in Friday's 3-2 win over the Blues.
Johnston put the Stars on the board less than six minutes into the opening period with his power-play goal before he later slid the primary pass on Matt Duchene's score with a man advantage in the second. Overall, Johnston now has 27 goals, 29 assists, 133 shots on net and 37 blocks through 52 games this season. The 22-year-old center has 13 points in as many games since Dec. 23, which has brought him inside the league's top 20 in points. He hasn't missed a game across his first four seasons at the NHL level, meaning he remains well on pace to post another career year if he can surpass the 71 points he had in 82 regular-season games a year ago.

Jared McCann C | SEA
Kraken's Jared McCann: Buries goal in loss
McCann scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Ducks.
McCann has scored in consecutive games for the third time within a month. The 29-year-old forward is up to 12 goals, 22 points, 64 shots on net, 19 hits, 17 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 26 appearances. He's currently on the top line, but as one of the Kraken's most consistent forwards, McCann can typically produce with just about any line combination.

Ryan Poehling C | ANA
Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Strikes for shorthanded goal
Poehling scored a shorthanded goal and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Poehling had put up just one helper over his previous six outings. The 27-year-old center is getting a chance to play a larger role than usual while the Ducks are missing their top two centers in Leo Carlsson (thigh) and Mason McTavish (upper body). Poehling has four goals, 17 points, 51 blocked shots, 45 shots on net and a plus-5 rating over 44 appearances this season. He's earned three of his 17 points while shorthanded.

Sam Carrick C | BUF
Rangers' Sam Carrick: Scores lone goal in loss
Carrick scored a goal in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Sharks.
This was Carrick's second goal in the last six games. The 33-year-old center doesn't add much offense from a fourth-line role, and he was under the 10-minute mark for the fifth time in seven contests. For the season, Carrick has three goals, nine points, 53 shots on net, 42 PIM, 75 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 52 appearances.
