Senators' Dylan Cozens: Lights the lamp on power play

Cozens scored a goal, fired four shots on net and recorded three hits in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.

Cozens posted a strong all-around effort Monday that was highlighted by a power-play goal in the second period to cut Detroit's lead to one score. Following Monday's game, the 24-year-old center is up to 12 goals, 31 points, 96 shots on net and 116 hits through 41 games this season. With the Senators arriving at the halfway point in the regular season, Cozens is back on track for his first 60-plus point expedition since the 2022-23 campaign. The second-line center is also trending towards his best season in terms of hits. He has evolved into a fantastic well of category-coverage stats in fantasy, giving him high-level value in most leagues for the remainder of the season.

  • Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Scores shorthanded goal

Rasmussen tallied a goal and served two PIM in Monday's 5-3 win over Ottawa.

Rasmussen doubled Detroit's lead late into the contest, as he scored a shorthanded tally with just over seven minutes left to put the Wings up 5-3. Overall, he is up to six goals, 14 points, 42 shots on net, 40 hits and 28 blocks across 39 appearances this season. His points this season have come in bunches, with his most recent goal bringing him to five points in his last seven games. While he's currently off the pace to reach 100-plus hits for the fifth consecutive regular season, a strong second half to the campaign could help him crack certain deep fantasy leagues that value banger stats.

Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Pots opening goal Monday

Copp scored a goal and fired two shots on net in Monday's 5-3 win over the Senators.

Copp took an unassisted goal to the back of the net for the first score of Monday's contest. With the goal, the 31-year-old center has six goals, 23 points, 63 shots on net, 28 hits and 31 blocks through 44 games this season. He has three goals and four assists over his last nine games in a stretch that includes two multi-helper games. He provides viable category coverage needed for deep fantasy leagues to go along with 23 points, placing him sixth on the Wings.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Nets power-play goal

Larkin scored a power-play goal in Monday's 5-3 win over Ottawa.

Larkin doubled the Red Wings' lead near the 14-minute mark of the opening period with his tally on a power play. The goal was his 22nd of the season, giving him a share of the team lead alongside winger Alex DeBrincat. To go with his high total of goals, Larkin has 39 points, 123 shots on net, 21 hits and 26 blocks through 44 games this season. While his point production has slowed over the past three weeks, the 29-year-old center still has four goals in his last seven games and has provided a consistent stream of shots on net this season. He remains a high-level option across most fantasy formats for the rest of the campaign.

  • Red Wings' Nate Danielson: Sent down to minors

Danielson was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Tuesday.

Danielson will likely get some extra minutes with the Griffins in Wednesday's matchup with AHL Texas, which will make him eligible to be promoted back to the NHL roster ahead of Thursday's clash with the Canucks. Prior to being a healthy scratch against the Senators on Monday, Danielson was struggling offensively, going 11 games without a point while generating just seven shots.

  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: Won't return to Monday's game

Kopitar has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's matchup against the Wild due to a lower-body injury.

Kopitar didn't come out for the start of the second period after logging 4:54 of ice time in the first. The veteran center should be considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's home divisional contest against the Sharks.

  • Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Locked up by Philadelphia

Dvorak inked a five-year, $25.75 million contract extension with the Flyers on Monday.

Dvorak signed a one-year deal with Philadelphia in July, but he quickly proved his worth to his new team by gelling well with Trevor Zegras and Travis Konecny on the top line. The 29-year-old Dvorak has generated nine goals, 16 helpers, 75 shots and a plus-8 rating through 39 appearances in 2025-26. The 2014 second-round pick's new contract will run through the 2030-31 campaign.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Not playing Monday

Protas (lower body) isn't in the lineup for Monday's home matchup versus Anaheim, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.

Protas will miss his second straight contest Monday after being deemed a game-time call earlier in the day. Tom Wilson (lower body) also isn't available against the Ducks, so the Capitals are forced to roll with 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Protas' next chance to suit up will be at home Wednesday versus Dallas.

  • Penguins' Ben Kindel: Supplies two helpers

Kindel logged two assists, including one on the power play, and two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Kindel set up Ville Koivunen's opening goal 1:50 into the game and Thomas Novak's power-play tally in the third period. This was Kindel's first multi-point effort since Dec. 14 versus the Mammoth. He's warming up again with four helpers (two on the power play) over his last five outings. For the season, the 18-year-old rookie has contributed 18 points, 79 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 16 hits and a minus-11 rating through 38 appearances, mainly in a third-line role with power-play time.

  • Noel Acciari C | PIT

Penguins' Noel Acciari: Tallies in win Sunday

Acciari scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Acciari has scored three times over his last seven games, which is decent production for a bottom-six forward. He remains on the fourth line and is more valued for his defensive skills, so steady offense shouldn't be expected. The 34-year-old is up to nine points, 33 shots, 35 hits, 22 blocked shots and 17 PIM across 28 appearances.
