  • Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: Taken off injured reserve

Lundestrom (lower body) was activated off injured reserve ahead of Tuesday's clash with Ottawa.

Where Lundestrom fits into the lineup remains to be seen, but he's far from a lock to play on a nightly basis even with his injury concerns behind him. In 35 appearances this year, the 26-year-old Swede has generated just one goal, four assists and 30 shots. As such, Lundestrom's return is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy managers.

  • Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Facing long-term absence

Abols (lower body) is expected to be sidelined for "months," according to head coach Rick Tocchet, but he could still return this season, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports Tuesday.

Abols was already ruled out for the Olympics and was removed from the Latvian squad. In his 42 appearances this year, the 30-year-old center has generated three goals and seven helpers while dishing out 49 hits. At this point, even if Abols does return this year, he shouldn't be expected to offer much in the way of fantasy value.

  • Cole Reschny C | CGY

Flames' Cole Reschny: Earns weekly honors

Reschny was named the NCHC Forward of the Week on Tuesday.

The University of North Dakota forward has a goal and three assists during a two-game sent versus the University of Denver this past weekend. Reschny is up to four goals and 20 helpers over 20 contests for UND this season. The Flames prospect is doing an excellent job as a freshman, though the big club will have no need to rush his development.

  • J.T. Miller C | NYR

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Provides two assists in loss

Miller had two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.

Miller has logged multiple helpers in three straight contests. The 32-year-old forward is up to 30 points (seven on the power play), 90 shots on net, 84 hits and a minus-18 rating over 41 outings. Miller should remain productive in a top-six role with power-play time.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Another two-assist game

Trocheck logged two power-play assists, two shots on goal and three hits in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.

Trocheck had a hand in goals by Artemi Panarin and Vladislav Gavrikov. This was Trocheck's second two-assist effort in a row, and his third such game in January. For the season, the veteran center is at 31 points (10 on the power play), 63 shots on net, 118 hits, 30 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-17 rating over 36 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Max Sasson C | VAN

Canucks' Max Sasson: Reaches 10-goal mark

Sasson scored a goal and added two PIM in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Islanders.

Sasson's 10th goal of the season put the Canucks ahead just 2:49 into the game. The 25-year-old center has scored twice over the last five contests, but he's been fairly one-dimensional as a finisher on offense this season. He's at 12 points, 47 shots on net, 26 blocked shots, 18 hits, 18 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 46 outings.

  • Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Provides two assists in win

Barzal logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 4-3 win over the Canucks.

Barzal has gone six games without a goal but has still put up five assists in that span. The 28-year-old hasn't had a multi-game point drought since late December, providing steady offense in a top-line role. He's up to 11 goals, 29 helpers, 11 power-play points, 106 shots on net, 41 PIM, 31 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating over 48 contests.

  • Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Gets back in goal column

Luostarinen scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Sharks.

Luostarinen ended a 10-game goal drought with the Panthers' lone tally in this loss. During that stretch, he had three assists and 13 shots on net. Luostarinen remains in a top-line role for now, though his lack of recent offense could put him at risk of losing minutes now that Matthew Tkachuk has returned from a groin injury. Luostarinen is at five goals, 20 points, 64 shots on net, 83 hits, 32 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 40 appearances.

  • Sharks' Barclay Goodrow: Fills empty net

Goodrow scored an empty-net goal on two shots, blocked four shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

Goodrow scored for the first time since his two-goal, three-point burst Dec. 16 versus the Flames. He had two assists over the 13 contests between goals. The 32-year-old defensive forward is at nine points, 42 shots on net, 28 PIM, 71 hits and 35 blocked shots over 48 appearances this season, which is already a more productive campaign on offense than last year (eight points in 77 outings).

  • Will Smith C | SJ

Sharks' Will Smith: Buries goal Monday

Smith scored a goal in Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

Smith has scored in consecutive contests following his 13-game absence due to an upper-body injury. The 20-year-old has immediately retaken a top-line role and doesn't appear to need to shake off any rust. He's up to 14 goals, 31 points, 84 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through 35 appearances, making him a strong offense-only option with ample upside in fantasy.
