    Penguins' Tristan Broz: Puts up three points

    Broz scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 8-0 win over Rochester on Saturday.

    Broz was in just his second game after missing over six weeks due to injury. He's earned five points since his return. Overall, he has a career-high 39 points over 47 appearances, surpassing his 37-point output from 59 games in the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Rangers' Brendan Brisson: Pots pair for Hartford

    Brisson scored twice in AHL Hartford's 4-3 loss to Springfield on Saturday.

    This was Brisson's first multi-point effort since March 17. He has 19 goals, 37 points and a minus-32 rating over 66 appearances this season. Brisson hasn't been able to get back to his peak levels from a couple of years ago. He'll be a restricted free agent this summer if he gets a qualifying offer.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Rising to occasion on big stage

    Stankoven delivered a goal and assist in a 2-0 win over Ottawa in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round on Saturday.

    Stankoven's goal opened the scoring and stood as the winner; it came at 2:11 of the second period. He has a reputation for rising to the occasion on big stages, including for Team Canada at the World Juniors in 2022 and 2023, and in the WHL playoffs in the same years. Stankoven could surprise this postseason after establishing new regular-season career marks in goals (21), assists (23), power-play goals (four), power-play points (nine) and shots (166).

  • Ducks' Roger McQueen: Inks entry-level deal

    McQueen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks on Saturday.

    McQueen's contract will begin in 2026-27. In the meantime, he's been playing for Anaheim's AHL affiliate, San Diego, on an amateur tryout agreement that he inked April 1. McQueen had 11 goals, 27 points and 45 PIM across 36 appearances with Providence College in 2025-26. He's also collected a goal and three points in six regular-season outings with San Diego.

  • Jets' Brayden Yager: Returned to AHL

    Yager was assigned to AHL Manitoba on Saturday.

    Yager made his NHL debut against Vegas on Monday. He didn't earn a point in three appearances with the Jets down the stretch, but he provided two shots on goal. Yager has 10 goals and 20 assists in 68 AHL contests this campaign.

    Jets' Brad Lambert: Sent to AHL

    Lambert was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Saturday.

    Lambert had three goals, six points, 27 shots on net and 22 hits in 25 NHL appearances this season. He also has six goals and seven assists in 34 AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

    Avalanche's Nazem Kadri: Set to play in Game 1

    Kadri (finger) is expected to play in Game 1 against the Kings on Sunday, per DNVR Avalanche.

    After missing five straight games because of a broken finger, Kadri skated on the third line and worked on the top power-play unit during Saturday's practice. He finished the 2025-26 regular season with 16 goals, 50 points, 213 shots on net and 50 hits in 77 games between Colorado and Calgary.

  • Kings' Alex Turcotte: Available for Game 1

    Turcotte (undisclosed) has been cleared to play ahead of Sunday's road clash against the Avalanche in Game 1, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.

    Turcotte missed eight consecutive games to close out the regular season, but will be available for the Kings' first-round playoff series opener. He was cleared for action Saturday alongside Jeff Malott (undisclosed) and Andrei Kuzmenko (knee), but all three likely won't be in the lineup together. Across 62 regular-season games in 2025-26, Turcotte had three goals, 14 points, 67 shots on net, 51 hits and 33 blocked shots.

    Avalanche's Martin Necas: Poised to play In Game 1

    Necas (rest) is slated to play in Game 1 against the Kings on Sunday, per Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

    After sitting out Thursday's 2-0 win over Seattle, Necas returned to a top-line role during Saturday's practice. He finished the 2025-26 regular season with 38 goals, 100 points, 206 shots on net and 85 hits in 78 appearances.

  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Back in action for Sunday

    MacKinnon (undisclosed) will return to the lineup for Game 1 versus Los Angeles on Sunday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

    MacKinnon sat out the season finale Thursday, ending the regular season with 53 goals, 74 assists, 350 shots on goal and a plus-57 rating over 80 contests. He practiced between Artturi Lehkonen and Martin Necas on the top line Saturday and will see first-unit power-play time as well.
