Ethan Czata C | TB
Lightning's Ethan Czata: Earns pair of points
Czata scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Niagara's 5-4 overtime win over Barrie on Saturday.
Czata hadn't posted a multi-point effort since Dec. 11, and he had gone scoreless in the previous three contests before Saturday. The forward is up to 16 goals and 10 assists through 33 appearances for the IceDogs this season. A 2025 second-round pick of the Lightning, Czata's offense hasn't reached another level this year, which is mildly discouraging for his long-term potential.

Brayden Point C | TB
Lightning's Brayden Point: Finally warming up as streak grows
Point had a goal and an assist in a 7-3 victory over San Jose on Saturday.
The Sharks started flat-footed, and Point made them pay early on a 3-on-2. His assist came later on the power play. Point is on a five-game, seven-point scoring streak (11 shots), and he has a power-play point in each of his last two games. He's also on a three-game goal streak (four). Point has scuffled this season, and he has just 10 snipes in 34 games after averaging 46 goals over his last three regular seasons. His luck is improving, and that means you'll benefit from a strong second half as you drive to your own playoffs.

Conor Geekie C | TB
Lightning's Conor Geekie: Three-point effort in big AHL win
Geekie scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Syracuse's 6-0 win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday.
Geekie earned his first multi-point effort in eight games during this lopsided victory. He's been doing just about everything right for the Crunch, picking up nine goals and 20 helpers in 28 appearances this season. Geekie's sustained success on offense could help him earn another call-up later in 2025-26.

John Beecher C | CGY
Flames' John Beecher: Won't finish game
Beecher (upper body) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Predators, Ryan Pike of Flames Nation reports.
Beecher was injured in a second-period fight with Nicolas Hague. The 24-year-old Beecher can be considered day-to-day until more information is available. If he misses time, Justin Kirkland is the next man up to center the fourth line.

Connor Dewar C | PIT
Penguins' Connor Dewar: Snaps 12-game goal drought
Dewar picked up a goal in a 4-1 win over the Red Wings on Saturday.
The goal snapped a 12-game drought. Dewar has seven goals, six assists, 74 hits and 62 shots in 40 games this season while averaging 13:39 in ice time. The 26-year-old fourth liner is on a career pace, although his fantasy contributions are limited.

Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Gets goal in win
Rakell scored an empty-netter in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Rakell has 14 points (five goals, nine assists) and 54 shots on net in 20 games this season. The pace is well off his 35-goal, 70-point production from last season, but that came with an unsustainable 17.2 shooting percentage. He has also struggled to find his groove since his return in mid-December from a broken left hand. Rakell has just two goals on 37 shots and four assists in 11 games. That left hand is his top hand, and he returned on the short end of a six-to-eight week recovery from surgery. He has 10 shots in his last two games, and that may make him a sneaky waiver grab.

Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Two points in Saturday's loss
McDavid produced an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Flyers.
The 28-year-old superstar did his best to pull his team out of an early 3-0 hole, but McDavid didn't get enough help to complete a comeback. He has erupted for 14 goals and 36 points, including 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) with the man advantage, during his 15-game point streak.
-
Sean Couturier C | PHI
Flyers' Sean Couturier: Two helpers in Edmonton
Couturier notched two assists in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.
He added a team-high six shots on net and a plus-2 rating to his ledger. Couturier has gone 13 games without tickling the twine, picking up six assists over that stretch in a trio of two-point performances. On the season, the veteran center has managed five goals and 23 points in 39 contests.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Six-game, 10-point streak
Crosby had two assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over Detroit.
Crosby extended his point streak to six games and 10 points (four goals, six assists), including five points (two goals, three assists) in a home-and-home against the Red Wings. He also extended his personal point streak against Detroit to nine games, which consists of six goals and 18 points. Crosby moved into sole possession of eighth on the all-time list with his 257th multi-assist game.

Jack Hughes C | NJ
Devils' Jack Hughes: Two helpers in Saturday's win
Hughes collected two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 4-1 win over Utah.
The 24-year-old had a hand in tallies by Jesper Bratt in the first period and Nico Hischier in the second. It was Hughes' first multi-point performance in six games since returning from finger surgery, and it's a good sign that he may have shaken off the last of the rust after missing over a month of action. On the season, Hughes has produced 11 goals and 24 points in 23 contests.
