David Kampf C | WAS
Canucks' David Kampf: Collects two points
Kampf scored a goal, added an assist and logged two hits in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Flyers.
Kampf was scratched Monday in Seattle before returning to a third-line role Tuesday. The 30-year-old won't have to play above his skill level too much now that Elias Pettersson is back from an upper-body injury, which has given the Canucks more respectable center depth. Kampf has a mere three points with 14 shots on net, 15 hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 18 appearances this season.

Trevor Zegras C | PHI
Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Supplies pair of assists
Zegras notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Canucks.
Zegras has been remarkably consistent in December, getting on the scoresheet in 12 of 14 games this month. He's earned six goals and nine assists over that span. The 24-year-old forward is up to 15 goals, 24 helpers, 85 shots on net, 30 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 37 appearances. Zegras' top-line role and spot on the first power-play unit appear secure, and that makes him a reliable fantasy producer as he cashes in on the promise he showed in 2021-22 and 2022-23.

Christian Dvorak C | PHI
Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Fills empty cage
Dvorak scored an empty-net goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Canucks.
Dvorak had the second of the Flyers' empty-netters to fend off the Canucks' late push. The 29-year-old center has scored twice over his last four games, and he's up to nine goals and 25 points over 37 outings this season. He's added 70 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 16 hits and a plus-8 rating while primarily playing in a top-six role. Dvorak's offense is on a career-best pace, and he's doing that with inconsistent and limited power-play time.

Auston Matthews C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Nearing return
Matthews (lower body) is "fairly close" to returning to action, reports NHL.com.
Head coach Craig Berube shared the update after Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Devils, saying he hopes Matthews can get on the ice Wednesday for practice. The 28-year-old superstar is day-to-day after getting hit on the foot with a shot Sunday. Matthews' first opportunity for game action is Thursday, and managers will be looking for him to build off his first three-point game of the season, which came Saturday against Ottawa.

Oliver Moore C | CHI
Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Picks up pair of helpers
Moore notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Islanders.
Over the previous 11 games, Moore had been limited to one assist, 15 shots on net and a minus-5 rating. The 20-year-old forward centered a line with Nick Lardis and Teuvo Teravainen in this contest, and the trio showed some promise. Moore is up to 11 points (two on the power play), 34 shots on net, 16 hits and a minus-4 rating across 27 appearances. He's not a widespread fantasy option, but he'll have a chance to see key minutes up the middle in the absences of Connor Bedard (upper body), Frank Nazar (upper body) and Jason Dickinson (undisclosed).

Calle Jarnkrok C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Calle Jarnkrok: First goal in 14 games
Jarnkrok scored a goal in a 4-0 win over the Devils on Tuesday.
Jarnkrok deflated any hope the Devils had of getting back in the game with his quick strike to push the score to 3-0 early in the third frame. He has been in and out of the lineup this season, and this goal won't be enough to see him solidify more playing time. However, it was still a nice game for Jarnkrok, who missed three-quarters of last season after having groin and sports hernia surgery. It was his first goal in 14 games.

Teuvo Teravainen C | CHI
Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Lights lamp Tuesday
Teravainen scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Islanders.
Teravainen ended a 12-game point drought with the tally. In that span, he went minus-15 with 15 shots on net. The 31-year-old winger is likely feeling the effects of the Blackhawks being without top centers Connor Bedard (upper body) and Frank Nazar (upper body). Teravainen is at seven goals, 18 points, 46 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 38 appearances this season.

Calum Ritchie C | NYI
Islanders' Calum Ritchie: Tallies in Tuesday's victory
Ritchie scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Ritchie was scratched Sunday versus the Blue Jackets, but he stepped into a third-line role for Tuesday's contest. He made a quick impact, opening the scoring at 2:56 of the first period. The 20-year-old has chipped in some depth scoring while primarily featuring in a bottom-six spot so far. He's at five goals, four assists, 32 shots on net, 17 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 29 appearances.

Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Pots power-play tally
Horvat scored a power-play goal on three shots, added four PIM and logged three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Horvat scored in the first period and also had the lone tally in the shootout to secure the win. The 30-year-old center has scored in consecutive contests, and he has seven goals and an assist over his last 10 outings, a stretch interrupted by a five-game absence for a lower-body injury. For the season, he's up to 21 goals, 33 points (12 on the power play), 120 shots on net, 25 hits, 32 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 35 appearances. He's never had a 40-goal season in the NHL, but he is on pace to change that fact in 2025-26.

Bobby McMann C | SEA
Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Six points in last six games
McMann had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over New Jersey on Tuesday.
McMann's power-play goal stood as the winner. He has four goals, two assists and 20 shots in his last six games, and 22 points, including 13 goals, and 75 shots in 38 games overall. With a bit of luck, McMann could make a charge at 30 goals this season, including a few on the power play, and that's the hardest category to get in fantasy.
