Lowry scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

Lowry ended a three-game dry spell with the effort, which included the game-winning goal at 19:40 of the second period. The 32-year-old center took some time to get up to speed after missing the first few weeks of the campaign while recovering from hip surgery. He's earned 11 points in 33 outings so far, with six of those points coming over the last nine contests. Lowry has added 34 shots on net, 68 hits, 25 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a plus-3 rating while mainly featuring on the third line.

Prishchepov scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Colorado's 6-3 loss to Ontario on Tuesday.

Prishchepov lost about six weeks at the start of the season while recovering from an undisclosed injury. He's done a fine job with the Eagles so far, earning two goals and eight assists across 16 outings, with five of those points coming over the last two games. He saw some time with the Avalanche in 2024-25, but it would take a number of injuries to get him in the mix this season.

Malkin scored a goal late in the third period of Tuesday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Lightning.

The Pens had the extra attacker on the ice when Malkin scored his 10th goal of the season at 17:44 of the third. It was his sixth game-tying goal in the final three minutes of regulation to pass Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Rick Kehoe and Jake Guentzel (each with five) for the second most in franchise history. Sidney Crosby holds the record (eight). Malkin is on a personal, albeit injury-interrupted, six-game scoring streak that includes four goals, four assists and four power-play points (one goal). He also has eight PIM and 12 shots in that span.

Carlsson (lower body) won't play Friday versus the Stars.

Carlsson will be out of the lineup along with Troy Terry (upper body) and Cutter Gauthier (illness), leaving the Ducks' forward group extremely thin. It's unclear if Carlsson will be able to play Friday versus the Kings. He previously missed a game due to a lower-body injury in late December.

Point (lower body) is week-to-week, per Lightning play-by-by announcer Dave Randorf on Tuesday.

Point sustained the injury in Monday's 5-1 win over Philadelphia. While it isn't a season-ending issue, he will likely be out for a while, and it remains unclear if it will impact his availability for the 2026 Winter Olympics in February. Point has amassed 11 goals, 30 points and 82 shots on net through 37 appearances this season.

Marchessault (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

Marchessault will miss his 13th straight game against Edmonton on Tuesday. It remains unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Marchessault has generated seven goals, 10 points, 60 shots on net and 30 hits across 28 appearances this season.

Howden (lower body) won't be in action against Los Angeles on Wednesday, per Sin Bin Vegas.

Howden was rolling offensively prior to getting hurt, producing six points in his last nine contests, including four goals. Once given the all-clear, the Calgary native should be capable of producing between 30 and 40 points this year, assuming he doesn't spend too much longer on the shelf. While not officially ruled out, the Knights' back-to-back likely means that Howden will also be out against Toronto on Thursday.

Barron (upper body) is not expected to be available for Tuesday's home contest against the Islanders.

Barron is set to miss his third consecutive game Tuesday. The 27-year-old had picked up the pace over the last month prior to getting hurt, producing four goals, three helpers, 26 shots, 36 hits and a plus-5 rating across a 13-game stretch. Barron's next opportunity to get back into the lineup will be in Minnesota on Thursday.

Steel logged two assists and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 3-1 win over the Kings.

Steel set up Wyatt Johnston's opening goal and helped out on Matt Duchene's empty-netter. With five points over his last three games, Steel is warming up, though he remains more of a versatile depth forward rather than a leader on offense. He's up to seven goals, 19 points, 48 shots on net, 47 hits, 20 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 46 appearances. Steel is on pace to earn his first 30-point campaign.

Duchene scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Kings.

Duchene's goal at 19:42 of the third period provided some extra security late in the contest for the Stars. He's earned two goals and three helpers over six outings in January after being limited to three points across 11 games in December. The 34-year-old center is up to 10 points, 28 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 21 outings in a season that's been disrupted by a long-term upper-body injury.
