Noah Philp C | CAR
Oilers' Noah Philp: Sent back to AHL
Philp (upper body) has been placed on waivers by the Oilers, the team announced Sunday.
Philp had been on long-term injured reserve with an upper-body injury, but that seems to no longer be an issue with him heading to the waiver wire. The 27-year-old got into 15 games with the Oilers this season, notching two goals and an assist along with 24 hits. If he clears, he is likely to report to AHL Bakersfield, where he has yet to appear in a game this season.

Danton Heinen LW | CLB
Penguins' Danton Heinen: Hits waivers
Heinen will be placed on waivers by the Penguins, the team announced Sunday.
Heinen's departure from the roster coincides with the return of Blake Lizotte from injured reserve. The 30-year-old Heinen has notched just two points in 13 NHL games this year while averaging 11:40 of ice time per night. If he goes unclaimed, Heinen would report to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, where he has 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 12 games.

Jonathan Toews C | WPG
Jets' Jonathan Toews: Finds assist in overtime loss
Toews logged an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.
Toews had a faceoff win late in the second period that set up Mark Scheifele for a goal to give the Jets a 3-2 lead. The 37-year-old Toews has had a hard time impacting the Jets' play on offense, but he's won 62.6 percent of his faceoffs this year, the third-best win rate among players who have taken at least 100 draws. The helper gave him 10 points with 50 shots on net, 18 PIM, 19 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 36 appearances.

Blake Lizotte C | PIT
Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Activated from IR
Lizotte (upper body) has been activated from injured reserve by the Penguins, the team announced Sunday.
Lizotte is ready to return following a nine-game absence due to an upper-body injury. The 28-year-old has five points (three goals, two assists) in 27 games in a bottom-six role, adding 25 hits and 12 blocked shots. That's the role he'll likely return to Sunday against the Blackhawks, assuming he draws into the lineup.

Cody Glass C | NJ
Devils' Cody Glass: Gets goal in overtime loss
Glass scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Capitals.
Glass ended a five-game slump with the tally. The 26-year-old has slotted into a middle-six role this season and continues to offer a little depth scoring. He's at nine points, 47 shots on net, 15 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 27 appearances, which is production that is unlikely to help fantasy managers in standard formats.

Jared McCann C | SEA
Kraken's Jared McCann: Removed from IR
McCann (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.
Following a seven-game absence, McCann should return to the lineup against Philadelphia on Sunday. He has compiled five goals, eight points, 27 shots on net, eight blocked shots and 14 hits through 11 appearances this season.

Ryan McLeod C | BUF
Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Evens score Saturday
McLeod scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.
McLeod has chipped in consistent offense lately, earning two goals and five assists over his last eight outings. The 26-year-old center's tally Saturday tied the game at 1-1 early in the second period, the first of three Buffalo goals in a span of 6:15 in that frame. McLeod is now at seven goals, 21 points, 45 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 37 appearances.

Josh Norris C | BUF
Sabres' Josh Norris: Pots empty-netter
Norris scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.
Norris put a bow on the Sabres' win, scoring for the third time in five games. The 26-year-old continues to play in a top-six role, and he's been productive when healthy. He's up to five goals, six helpers, 19 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over 11 appearances this season.

Pius Suter C | STL
Blues' Pius Suter: Set to miss Monday's game
Suter (lower body) is day-to-day and isn't expected to play against Buffalo on Monday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.
Suter will miss at least one game after sitting out Sunday's practice. He has collected seven goals, 14 points, 62 shots on net and 29 hits through 37 appearances this season. Robby Fabbri will replace Suter in Monday's lineup versus the Sabres.

Jared McCann C | SEA
Kraken's Jared McCann: Probable for Sunday
McCann (lower body) is very likely to play Sunday against the Flyers, Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network reports.
McCann has had a tough season from a health standpoint. He's missed the last seven games on top of the 10 games he missed due to injury earlier this season. As a result, the 29-year-old has played only 11 games this season, registering eight points (five goals, three assists) in those outings. He'll provide a big boost in the top six for the Kraken should he return.
