  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Remains unavailable

Marchessault (lower body) will miss his fourth straight game Saturday in St. Louis. per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

Marchessault was injured Dec. 17 against Carolina. He has seven goals and three assists in 28 games this season. Marchessault's name has surfaced in trade rumors, but with the Predators on a hot streak, that talk could subside.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Taken off injured reserve

Kyrou (lower body) will return to the lineup Saturday against Nashville, according to Lou Korac of NHL.com.

Kyrou was forced to miss nine games due to the injury. The 27-year-old struggled offensively before the injury, as he had eight goals and 16 points in 28 games -- a big drop from the 36-goal, 34-assist season he had in 2024-25. Kyrou will play alongside Brayden Schenn and Jonatan Berggren on the second unit, as well as seeing first-unit power-play time.

  • Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: Hurt during practice

Lundestrom (lower body) suffered an injury during Saturday's practice, and there was no update on his status, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Lundestrom had to be helped off the ice at Saturday's session. It's unclear if he will be available to play against the Islanders on Sunday. He has produced one goal, four assists, 30 shots on net, 16 blocked shots and 13 hits across 35 appearances this season.

  • Lars Eller C | OTT

Senators' Lars Eller: Placed on injured reserve

Eller (foot) was put on injured reserve Saturday, per Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia.

Eller has missed the last five games and is expected to be out at least another two weeks. He has two goals and six points in 28 appearances this season. The Senators recalled Xavier Bourgault in a corresponding move.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Ready to rock

Horvat (lower body) will return to the lineup versus the Rangers on Saturday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Horvat missed five games with the injury. He has 19 goals and 31 points across 32 games this season. Horvat will center Jonathan Drouin and Emil Heineman in his return, while Anthony Duclair will exit the lineup as a healthy scratch.

  • Blue Jackets' Brendan Gaunce: Available for Sunday

Gaunce (personal) was activated from the non-roster list Friday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Gaunce will be eligible to play in Sunday's game versus the Islanders. The 31-year-old has earned four points over 12 appearances this season. His return to the Blue Jackets' active roster puts them at the maximum 23 players, though it's unclear if Gaunce will keep his spot once Mathieu Olivier (upper body) is ready to return.

  • Avalanche's Zakhar Bardakov: No place in lineup

Bardakov was scratched for the sixth straight game in Tuesday's 1-0 win over the Mammoth.

Bardakov was a regular while the Avalanche were trying to get to full health earlier in the year, but the 24-year-old has lost his place with the team missing just Logan O'Connor (hip) up front. Bardakov will have to wait for more players to be absent before he can add to his totals of five points, 16 shots on net and 22 hits in 25 games this season.

  • Flyers' Sean Couturier: Supplies pair of helpers

Couturier notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Couturier hasn't scored in nine games, and he has just a pair of two-assist outings in that span. The 33-year-old center remains a key part of the Flyers' top six, but he's lost a power-play role due to that recent quiet stretch. For the season, he's at five goals, 16 helpers, 53 shots on net, 36 hits, 26 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 35 contests.

  • Rangers' Jonny Brodzinski: Slides pair of helpers

Brodzinski notched two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Capitals.

Brodzinski set up goals by Taylor Raddysh and Vincent Trocheck in this contest. With three points over his last two games, Brodzinski has positioned himself well to stay in the lineup over Conor Sheary. Brodzinski is at eight points, 30 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-4 rating through 24 appearances this season.

  • Capitals' Hendrix Lapierre: Ends slump with helper

Lapierre notched an assist and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Rangers.

Lapierre recently missed two games -- one due to an illness, the other a healthy scratch. That scratch was likely a long time coming, as his assist Tuesday ended an 11-game point drought. The 23-year-old remains in a fourth-line role when he plays, and he's at six helpers, 26 shots on net, 22 hits and a plus-1 rating through 34 appearances, down from eight assists in 27 regular-season games a year ago.
