  • Kraken's Logan Morrison: Pots two in AHL win

Morrison scored twice in AHL Coachella Valley's 5-2 win over San Diego on Friday.

Morrison has six goals and three assists over his last eight games. For the season, he's up to 16 goals -- matching his AHL career high -- and 28 points through 30 appearances. He'll likely end up with a career year across the board, but it's unclear if the 23-year-old will get a look with the Kraken this year.

  • Flames' Cullen Potter: Hat trick, assist Friday

Potter scored three goals and added an assist in Arizona State University's 7-2 win over the University of Alaska-Anchorage on Friday.

Potter's big game gave him 11 goals and 12 assists through 21 outings this year, a new career high. He had 22 points in 35 games for the Sun Devils last year. Potter continues to look good and should see his prospect stock rise within the Flames' organization if he can keep up his current pace.

  • Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Gets two-year extension

Karlsson signed a two-year, $4.5 million contract extension with the Canucks on Friday.

The Canucks have clearly been impressed with Karlsson's work this year, which saw him make the team out of camp while on a one-year deal. The 26-year-old now gets a notable bump in salary in addition to the term, which is set to keep him in Vancouver colors through 2027-28. He's produced 16 points in 36 appearances this season while carving out some power-play time and filling spots all over the lineup.

  • Sharks' Adam Gaudette: Ruled out against Bolts

Gaudette (lower body) will not be in the lineup for Saturday's clash with the Lightning, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Gaudette will miss his second straight game due to his lower-body issue. While the 29-year-old forward has added just one goal in his last 10 outings, he did manage to chip in four helpers, with three of those five points coming on the man advantage.

  • Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Nets goal Thursday

Lizotte scored a goal and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Red Wings.

Lizotte has three points over three games since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 28-year-old forward is up to eight points, 33 shots on net, 27 hits, 13 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 30 appearances. Lizotte should continue to see steady time in a bottom-six role and on the penalty kill.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Posts three points Thursday

Crosby scored two goals, including one on the power play, and added an assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Red Wings.

Crosby found the back of the net twice in the first period, netting a power-play tally with a slap shot at the 4:08 mark and adding an unassisted goal at the 5:46 mark. Crosby also added an assist on Kris Letang's overtime winner. The 38-year-old Crosby is showing no signs of slowing down and is riding a five-game point streak, tallying eight points (four goals, four assists), a plus-5 rating and 13 shots (30.8 shooting percentage) in that span.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Ready to rock

Eichel (lower body) will return to the lineup Friday in St. Louis.

Eichel last played Dec. 13, missing seven games. The Vegas star has 12 goals and 41 points across 31 games this season, including 16 assists on the power play. He will center the top line, between Ivan Barbashev and Mitch Marner, as well as play on the top power-play unit.

  • Andrew Copp C | DET

Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Finds twine Thursday

Copp scored a goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.

Copp has found the back of the net in two of his last four outings, but that's the lone production he's had over that stretch. The 31-year-old playmaker has struggled to deliver production on a consistent basis this season and is up to 22 points (five goals, 17 helpers) in 42 games so far. Those numbers limit his upside to deep formats only.

  • Canadiens' Oliver Kapanen: Pots goal with lone shot Thursday

Kapanen scored a goal in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Hurricanes.

Kapanen snapped a three-game goal drought with his tally in this matchup, which also happened to be his lone shot attempt of the game. Kapanen is having a very good season in his second year in the NHL, establishing himself in a top-six role and posting 21 points (12 goals, nine assists) through 40 contests so far.

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Scores vs. Carolina

Suzuki scored a goal in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Hurricanes.

Suzuki remains a key offensive cog for the Canadiens, and he's scored four goals over his last four games while also adding an assist, 12 shots, seven hits and a plus-6 rating over that stretch. The 26-year-old continues to find ways to produce and is averaging over a point per game in 2025-26, tallying 45 points (14 goals, 31 helpers) in 40 contests.
