  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: One of each in win

Vilardi recorded a goal and an assist in Friday's 4-1 win over the Sabres.

Vilardi closed out the scoring for Winnipeg with an empty-netter, and he previously had contributed to Kyle Connor's first-period goal. Vilardi has been very productive for the Jets and is averaging nearly a point per game -- he has 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists) in 27 appearances.

  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Tallies PPG in win

Hertl scored a power-play goal in Friday's 3-0 win over the Devils.

Hertl gave the Golden Knights a 2-0 lead in the latter stages of the second period with a wrister that went right past Jacob Markstrom. Hertl hasn't been the most consistent performer for the Golden Knights this season, but he seems to be trending in the right direction with three goals over his last three outings.

  • Owen Martin C | WPG

Jets' Owen Martin: One of each in win

Martin scored a goal on seven shots and added an assist in WHL Spokane's 6-4 win over Swift Current on Friday.

Martin's offense hasn't bounced back for the Chiefs this year, as he's produced just six goals and nine points over 24 outings after an injury-riddled 2024-25. He's added 52 shots on net and a minus-5 rating. The Jets selected Martin with the 92nd overall pick in 2025, and he's yet to impress much, though his playing style is trending toward that of a defensively-responsible, bottom-six forward at the professional level.

  • Ethen Frank C | WAS

Capitals' Ethen Frank: Lights lamp Friday

Frank scored a goal in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Frank ended a six-game goal drought with his second-period tally. In that span, he was limited to one assist, six shots on net and seven hits. The 27-year-old has emerged as a bottom-six regular this season, though he's also carved out a spot on the second power-play unit. Frank is up to four goals, 10 points, 24 shots on net, a plus-2 rating, 11 hits and nine blocked shots over 18 outings.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Tallies in shootout loss

Protas scored a goal, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Protas has three goals and two assists during his five-game point streak. The 24-year-old forward continues to shine in a middle-six role for the Capitals -- he's gotten on the scoresheet in nine of his last 11 outings. For the year, he's at nine goals, 19 points, a plus-22 rating, 62 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and 13 hits through 29 appearances.

  • Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: Buries goal in win

Schmaltz scored a goal in Friday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.

Schmaltz ended his 11-game goal drought with the second-period tally, which stood as the game-winner. The 29-year-old has three points over his last two contests and seems to be turning things around after his November slump. For the season, he's up to 11 goals, 25 points, 67 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating across 29 appearances.

  • Mammoth's Kevin Stenlund: Collects two points in win

Stenlund scored a goal on three shots, dished a shorthanded assist, added four PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.

This was Stenlund's first multi-point effort this season. He had picked up just one helper over his previous 13 appearances. The 29-year-old center is a fixture in the Mammoth's bottom six, which will limit his scoring production. He's now at six points, 27 shots on net, 22 hits, 20 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 29 contests this season.

  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Supplies pair of assists

Johnston logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added two PIM, two shots on net and three blocked shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.

Johnston has three multi-point efforts over his last seven outings. He's earned five goals and seven helpers in that span. The 22-year-old is having a strong season with 16 goals, 17 assists, 19 power-play points, 82 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 29 appearances. Johnston's presence on the top line should make the bulk of this production sustainable.

  • Sam Steel C | DAL

Stars' Sam Steel: Nets go-ahead goal

Steel scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-1 win over the Sharks.

Steel snapped a five-game point drought with the tally. The 27-year-old has struggled to find consistency on offense, but his all-around play has allowed him to maintain top-six usage. That should continue at least until Matt Duchene (upper body) returns. Steel is at four goals, 10 points, 32 shots on net, 30 hits and a minus-3 rating across 29 appearances, putting him on track to challenge his career high of 28 points from the 2022-23 campaign with the Wild.

  • Hurricanes' Justin Robidas: Puts up three points

Robidas scored twice and added an assist in AHL Chicago's 6-4 win over Milwaukee on Friday.

Robidas had an assist over his first two NHL games of the season, and this was his second contest back since he returned to the Wolves. At the AHL level, he's collected six goals and 15 points through 18 appearances this season. The 22-year-old is clearly in the mix whenever the Hurricanes need forward depth, but he's unlikely to get much ice time with the big club.
