Jonathan Marchessault C | NSH
Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Goal in return from injury
Marchessault (lower body) scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-1 win over Calgary.
Marchessault had missed the previous two games because of injury. He wired a wrist shot from the slot past Devin Cooley at 14:25 in the second period. Marchessault has struggled mightily this season. After delivering 56 points last season and 69 the campaign before, he has just five goals and three assists in 21 contests. At some point, Marchessault's game may take off, although his 10.6 shooting percentage isn't that far off his career 11.4, so his scuffles aren't about bad luck. At 34 (and soon 35 this month), his wheels will come off soon enough. This feels too soon, though.

Aatu Raty C | VAN
Canucks' Aatu Raty: Snags helper Tuesday
Raty produced an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Raty ended his nine-game slump with the helper. The 23-year-old forward was also scratched once in that span, but he's seeing fairly steady time in a fourth-line role. He's now at one goal, six assists, 18 shots on net, 56 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 24 appearances.

Steven Stamkos C | NSH
Predators' Steven Stamkos: Milestone point for sniper
Stamkos scored a goal Tuesday in a 5-1 win over Calgary.
It was Stammer's 1,200th NHL point. He's the 53rd player in NHL history and sixth active to reach the mark. The goal stood as the winner. It was Stamkos' 589th career goal, which pushes him closer to Jarri Kurri's 601 for the No. 21 spot on the all-time goal-scoring list.

Linus Karlsson C | VAN
Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Scores early in loss
Karlsson scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Karlsson scored 2:55 into the game, but that was the extent of the Canucks' offense. The 26-year-old continues to impress -- he has four goals over his last eight games, and he earned an in-game promotion to the top six Tuesday, though it's unclear if that will last for another contest. For the season, the Swede is up to five goals, nine points, 38 shots on net, 27 hits, 16 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 24 appearances. He is likely to maintain a full-time role as long as the Canucks are still dealing with multiple injuries to forwards.

Morgan Frost C | CGY
Flames' Morgan Frost: Four goals in last seven games
Frost scored a goal Tuesday in a 5-1 loss to Nashville.
Frost's power-play goal finally got the Flames on the board at 13:39 of the third period. He wired a one-timer from the slot for his seventh goal of the season. Frost has a goal in every other game over his last seven contests (four goals) and seven points (four goals, three assists) in his last nine.

Brock Nelson C | COL
Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Scores game-winner Tuesday
Nelson scored a goal and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Canucks.
Nelson put the Avalanche ahead 2-1 at 13:52 of the second period, and his tally held up as the game-winner. The 34-year-old has earned 12 points over his last 10 games and finally looks to be more comfortable after a rough start to the campaign. He's at nine goals, 17 points, 43 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 14 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 26 appearances, so he should offer a little of everything for fantasy managers.

Nathan MacKinnon C | COL
Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Tallies twice in win
MacKinnon scored two goals on six shots in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Canucks.
MacKinnon battled an illness Monday but was healthy enough to play in this contest. The 30-year-old only went on to log 22:15 of ice time, most among Colorado forwards, while scoring in the final minute of both the first and second periods. If he wasn't quite 100 percent, he didn't show it. MacKinnon has five goals and four assists during a four-game multi-point streak, during which he's added 20 shots on net and a plus-9 rating. On the year, the superstar has 22 goals, 46 points, 114 shots and a plus-32 rating across 26 contests.

Sam Reinhart C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Second shorthanded goal of season
Reinhart scored the Panthers' only goal in a 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
It was a beautiful shorthanded goal. Reinhart was alone in the slot and waited out Joseph Woll before beating him over the glove. It came in his 800th NHL game. Reinhart has 14 goals, 10 assists and 67 shots in 25 games this season. If you strip out his slow start (eight games; two goals, one assist), Reinhart has 21 points, including 12 goals, in his last 17 games. This was his second shorthanded goal of the season.

John Tavares C | TOR
Maple Leafs' John Tavares: First goal in five games
Tavares scored an empty-net goal Tuesday in a 4-1 win over the Panthers.
It was his 13th goal of the season and first in five games. Tavares has 29 points in 26 games, but just two (one goal, one assist) in his last five. It's a mini-slump for the grizzled veteran who continues to pace toward the best of his career. Tavares will be fine.

Scott Laughton C | LA
Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: First goal of season
Laughton scored a goal in a 4-1 win over Florida on Tuesday.
It was his first goal of the season, scoring on a bouncing puck in front of the net. It came in Laughton's eighth game of the season. He's deployed in a fourth-line role, which relegates him to the fantasy wire.
