  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Kraken's Bobby McMann: Stays hot despite shootout loss

McMann recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres.

McMann participated in the build-up of Chandler Stephenson's goal in the first period, and he later doubled Seattle's lead in the second frame. It wouldn't be a stretch to consider McMann one of the hottest forwards in the NHL of late. He has found the back of the net seven times in his last eight games. Since making his Kraken debut on March 14, McMann has posted seven goals, four assists, 23 shots and 17 hits across eight outings.

  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Two points in SO loss

Stephenson had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres.

Stephenson broke the deadlock for the Kraken with a snap shot at the 12:42 mark of the first period, and he later set up Bobby McMann's goal midway through the second frame. Stephenson is up to 44 points on the season, but most importantly, the first-period tally snapped a prolonged 12-game goal drought for the 31-year-old center.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Among NHL's most productive snipers

Hyman had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over the Ducks on Saturday.

Hyman's point streak sits at three games and four points (two goals, two assists). He has 31 goals in 55 games this season, which ranks him fifth in the league in goals per game (0.56). Hyman also has 19 assists, 157 shots on net and 52 hits this campaign.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Scores PP goal in loss

Nelson scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets.

Nelson found the back of the net at the 8:59 mark of the first period, tying the game at one goal apiece, but the Jets pulled ahead and earned the win. Nelson now has three goals and four points over his last five appearances. His 33 goals rank third for Colorado behind Nathan MacKinnon (48) and Martin Necas (34).

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Continues to produce

Vilardi scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Avalanche.

Vilardi was the only player who posted a multi-point performance for the Jets in this impressive 4-2 victory, and this two-point effort also allowed the 26-year-old to extend his point streak to four games. Vilardi has been turning things around after a slow stretch following the Olympic break, and he has 10 points (five goals, five assists) across his last 12 regular-season appearances. His top-six role should continue to allow him to find regular scoring opportunities, as he's up to 62 points (28 goals, 34 helpers) in 73 games this season.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Extends point streak

Perfetti scored a goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Avalanche.

Perfetti's goal in the third period, a tap-in with 5:11 left in the game, proved to be the game-winning goal for the Jets. Aside from being the 11th goal of the season for the 24-year-old winger, he also managed to extend his current point streak to a season-long four games. Perfetti has two goals, two assists, five shots and nine hits over that span while holding a middle-six role in the lineup.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Closing in on Mario Lemieux record

McDavid had a goal and two assists in Saturday's 4-2 win over Anaheim.

McDavid pushed his goal-scoring and point streaks to four games (five goals, four assists). He leads the NHL with 31 goals since Dec. 1, and he took back sole possession of the top spot in NHL scoring with 124 points (42 goals, 82 assists) in 74 games. McDavid (1,206 career points) is now just five points from tying Mario Lemieux (1,211) for the second-most career points before the age of 30. Wayne Gretzky holds the all-time record of 2,072. McDavid doesn't turn 30 until Jan. 13, 2027. Savor every second of McDavid's game -- we are witnessing history.

  • Canadiens' Oliver Kapanen: Scores, assists in win

Kapanen recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Predators.

Kapanen was one of three players who recorded a goal and an assist for the Canadiens, with Alex Newhook and Ivan Demidov being the others. Kapanen continues to show glimpses of his talent and seems to be leaving his March slump in the rearview. The 22-year-old center had just two points (both goals) in nine contests since the beginning of the month and until March 19, but he's bounced back since then with three points over his last four outings. Still, the lack of productivity on a game-to-game basis limits his upside in most formats. With 35 points in 71 games, he remains a low-end fantasy asset despite his top-six role.

  • Alex Newhook C | MON

Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Scores, assists in win

Newhook scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Predators.

Newhook tallied his 11th goal of the season with a wrister at the 16:23 mark of the second frame, giving the Habs a commanding 4-0 lead. Newhook also made his presence felt in the early stages of the second period after assisting Oliver Kapanen's goal. Newhook not only snapped a two-game pointless skid with this outing, but it was also his first multi-point game of the season since March 3, when he scored twice in a 7-5 loss to the Sharks. On the season, Newhook, who missed 40 games between Nov. 15 and Feb. 26 due to an ankle injury, has 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) in 32 regular-season contests.

  • Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Notches three helpers in AHL win

Poitras recorded three assists in AHL Providence's 6-4 win over Bridgeport on Saturday.

Poitras has a career-high 44 points in 60 outings after this effort. He has two goals and eight assists during his seven-game point streak as he continues to be a big producer for Providence. He'll likely get the chance to keep rolling into the AHL postseason in the coming weeks, which could help him prepare to push for an NHL job in 2026-27.
