Adam Lowry C | WPG
Jets' Adam Lowry: Lights lamp in win
Lowry scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
The goal was Lowry's first of the season. He appears to have found his game after recovering from hip surgery, as the veteran center has three points over his last four outings. Through seven contests overall, he's produced 10 shots on net, 16 hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in his typical third-line role.

Calum Ritchie C | NYI
Islanders' Calum Ritchie: Nets first goal of season
Ritchie scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Stars.
The goal was Ritchie's first as an Islander, and it was his first point in 10 appearances this season. The 20-year-old started out in a top-six role, but his lack of production has led to him seeing less than 10 minutes of ice time in his last six outings. He's put up seven shots on net, seven blocked shots and eight PIM.

Mason Appleton C | DET
Red Wings' Mason Appleton: Posts assist Tuesday
Appleton notched an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Appleton ended a four-game point drought with the helper. The 29-year-old forward has gone 16 games without a goal, but he remains firmly in a third-line role for the Red Wings. He's at three goals, five assists, 21 shots on net, 22 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 20 outings in 2025-26.

Guentzel scored a goal in all three periods, with the second and third tallies occurring on a power play. Overall, the 31-year-old winger has 11 goals, 20 points and 57 shots on net through 19 games this season. Guentzel has been heating up as of late with seven goals and 10 points in his last eight contests. Emmitt Finnie C | DET
Red Wings' Emmitt Finnie: Ends drought Tuesday
Finnie scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.
Finnie's surprisingly strong start to the season faded just as fast with a 10-game point drought. He snapped that slump with his second-period tally, which stood as the game-winner in this contest. Overall, the 20-year-old winger has five goals, nine points, 29 shots on net, 37 hits and 13 blocked shots over 20 appearances. The 2023 seventh-round pick has already defied expectations by reaching the NHL so quickly, but there will be ups and downs throughout the year.

For the season, the star center is at 12 goals, 24 points (five on the power play), 69 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 20 appearances in a top-line role.

Eetu Luostarinen C | FLA
Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Classified as week-to-week
Luostarinen (lower body) was labeled week-to-week by head coach Paul Maurice on Wednesday due to injuries suffered during a BBQ, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Luostarinen figures to be a candidate for injured reserve, considering he has already missed a game due to his lower-body injury. Including Cole Schwindt (arm), the Cats are now missing six forwards from the lineup. As such, look for Mackie Samoskevich to take Luostarinen's spot on the first line while Jack Devine makes his NHL debut against New Jersey on Thursday.

Cole Schwindt RW | FLA
Panthers' Cole Schwindt: Out several months with broken arm
The Panthers announced Wednesday that Schwindt is dealing with a broken arm that is expected to sideline him for 2-3 months, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Schwindt exited Monday's win over the Canucks due to his injury, and he'll likely undergo surgery next week to address the issue. The 24-year-old is slated to be sidelined until at least mid-January, while Jack Devine is slated to make his NHL debut on the fourth line against the Devils on Thursday after he was called up Tuesday.

Noah Philp C | CAR
Oilers' Noah Philp: Sustains upper-body injury
Philp will miss Edmonton's next three games due to an upper-body injury, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports Wednesday.
Philp has two goals, three points, four PIM, 12 shots and 24 hits in 15 appearances in 2025-26. Edmonton will also be without Curtis Lazar (upper body) for the remainder of the team's three-game road trip. The Oilers will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen in Wednesday's game in Washington due to a lack of cap flexibility, which means Ty Emberson will draw into the lineup after spending the past three games as a healthy scratch.
