Panthers' Cole Schwindt: Out several months with broken arm

The Panthers announced Wednesday that Schwindt is dealing with a broken arm that is expected to sideline him for 2-3 months, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Schwindt exited Monday's win over the Canucks due to his injury, and he'll likely undergo surgery next week to address the issue. The 24-year-old is slated to be sidelined until at least mid-January, while Jack Devine is slated to make his NHL debut on the fourth line against the Devils on Thursday after he was called up Tuesday.

  • Noah Philp C | CAR

Oilers' Noah Philp: Sustains upper-body injury

Philp will miss Edmonton's next three games due to an upper-body injury, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports Wednesday.

Philp has two goals, three points, four PIM, 12 shots and 24 hits in 15 appearances in 2025-26. Edmonton will also be without Curtis Lazar (upper body) for the remainder of the team's three-game road trip. The Oilers will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen in Wednesday's game in Washington due to a lack of cap flexibility, which means Ty Emberson will draw into the lineup after spending the past three games as a healthy scratch.

  • Curtis Lazar C | EDM

Oilers' Curtis Lazar: Suffers upper-body injury

Lazar sustained an upper-body injury that will sideline him for the remaining three games of the Oilers' road trip, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports Wednesday.

Even when healthy, Lazar has struggled to produce offensively, generating zero points in his last eight appearances. Due to Edmonton's cap situation, the team will be forced to deploy seven defensemen for the time being, as the club is also without Noah Philp (upper body) for the rest of the road trip. Given Lazar's recovery timeline, it wouldn't be a shock to see him designated for injured reserve.

  • Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Pots goal Tuesday

Lorentz scored a goal and dished out two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.

Lorentz helped the Leafs take a 2-1 lead midway through the second period with his second goal of the season. Overall, the 29-year-old forward has six points and 33 hits through 14 games this season. While Lorentz's role is limited while skating on Toronto's fourth line and checking unit, his offense has been noteworthy with four points in his last eight games. While he remains off the radar in standard fantasy formats, he could currently help lineups in a pinch in deeper leagues that value banger stats.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Helps out on game-winner

Tavares recorded an assist and fired four shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.

Tavares made a tremendous effort to pick up the secondary helper on Tuesday's game-winning goal, as he held off all three Blues' players on the ice while Toronto made changes. Once new personnel were on the ice, he back-heeled the puck to Morgan Rielly, who set up William Nylander for the game-winner. With the helper, the 35-year-old Tavares has 14 assists, 25 points and 60 shots on net through 20 games this season. Through the first quarter of the season, he is on pace for the first 100-point campaign of his 17-year NHL career. However, he has yet to top 90 points in a campaign, and it would be a tall task to continue his current pace toward the century mark. Regardless, he has played the top-line center role admirably in the absence of Auston Matthews (lower body) and will be an elite option in fantasy for the rest of the season.

  • Tyler Seguin C | DAL

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Two helpers in Tuesday's loss

Seguin notched two assists in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders.

He helped set up a pair of Jason Robertson tallies, but the rest of the Stars' offense went cold on the night. Seguin has had a sluggish start to the season, but he's delivered back-to-back multi-point performances. Over the last seven games, he's produced four goals and seven points.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Makes mark before ejection

Horvat scored his 13th goal of the season before getting ejected from Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Stars.

There were no penalties called in either of the first two periods, but tensions began to flare in the third after Horvat got a double-minor and game misconduct for high-sticking Oskar Back. The 30-year-old Horvat had already potted his team's second goal by that point, banging home a loose puck in front of Jake Oettinger just a few minutes before his ejection. Horvat is part of a massive second-place logjam atop the leaderboard in goals, one back of Nathan MacKinnon's 14, and he's been red-hot in November with six goals and 12 points in nine games.

  • Red Wings' Nate Danielson: Collects first career NHL points

Danielson scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

The 21-year-old produced his first career points in his fifth NHL game, tipping home a shot by Axel Sandin-Pellikka early in the second period before feeding Emmitt Finnie for what proved to be the game-winner later in the frame. Danielson was the ninth overall pick in the 2023 Draft, and he could be ready to carve out a consistent role in the middle six for Detroit.

  • Oliver Moore C | CHI

Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Two points in big win

Moore recorded a goal, an assist and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

The 20-year-old playmaker made his NHL debut Nov. 3 and hasn't needed a lot of time to adjust to a top-six role, as he's racked up five points (two goals, three assists) in his first seven outings. He earned his first multi-point effort, and Moore should continue to have plenty of opportunities to keep producing as long as he continues to see regular playing time. Moore currently holds a second-line role at even strength and is also a member of the second power-play unit.

  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Nets hat trick vs. Calgary

Bedard scored a hat trick in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Flames.

Bedard went scoreless in the 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday, but he bounced back admirably here and notched his second hat trick of the 2025-26 season -- the previous one came against the Senators on Oct. 28. Since the span of both three-goal performances, Bedard has been one of the most productive players in the league with 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) and 40 shots on goal across 10 games.
