Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Delivers two helpers in win
Horvat logged two assists, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Horvat is on a seven-game point streak composed of six goals and five assists. He's earned four of those 11 points on the power play. The 30-year-old center is getting back to peak form after he was held under the 70-point mark in each of the previous two campaigns. This season, he's up to 12 goals, 10 assists, 57 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 17 appearances. He's earned eight of his points on the power play, which is already better than his output with the man advantage last year (seven points).

Jean-Gabriel Pageau C | NYI
Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Steals show in overtime
Pageau scored a shorthanded goal which was the game-winner in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Pageau won a faceoff into space along the boards and then got loose on the rush. He went 1-on-1 against forward Mitch Marner, the Golden Knights' last man back, and found a shooting lane to fire the winning goal past Akira Schmid. That's a Pageau performance in a nutshell -- good defensive play and effort with a dash of timely offense. He's earned four goals and three helpers over his last seven outings, and he's up to six goals, including two game-winners, and 12 points through 17 outings this year. The center has added 19 shots on net, 27 hits, 15 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating while primarily playing on the third line. None of Pageau's points have come on the power play, but he's earned four of them while shorthanded.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Nets late equalizer
Barzal scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
The Islanders squandered a 2-0 lead after the first period, but Barzal retied the game late in the third to force overtime. This was his second game in a row with a goal, and he's earned a point in five straight contests. The 28-year-old is up to five goals, 14 points, 35 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 16 outings in a top-six role with plenty of power-play usage.

Mark Scheifele C | WPG
Jets' Mark Scheifele: One of each in loss
Scheifele scored a goal on two shots, added a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Kraken.
This has been a rough road trip for the Jets as a whole, and Scheifele is no exception. He has just three points over his last five games after logging 10 points in the five outings prior to the trip. The 32-year-old center is up to 10 goals, 23 points (six on the power play), 41 shots on net and a plus-3 rating across 17 appearances this season. Scheifele and the Jets will get back on track eventually, so fantasy managers should remain patient with the talented forward.

Matty Beniers C | SEA
Kraken's Matty Beniers: Supplies two assists
Beniers logged two assists, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Jets.
Beniers set up both of Jordan Eberle's third-period tallies, which led the Kraken to the win. The 23-year-old Beniers has four multi-point efforts this season, including two of his last six outings. The center is up to 11 points (two goals, nine assists), 25 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 17 appearances. He and Eberle were joined by Mason Marchment on a line, and the trio had encouraging results, which could lead to them sticking together for a while.

Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Logs helper in loss
Krebs notched a power-play assist, four hits and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche.
Krebs ended an eight-game point drought with the helper, which was on a Tage Thompson tally in the second period. The 24-year-old Krebs has moved around the lineup a bit this season but has mostly featured on the fourth line. He's at four assists, 15 shots on net, 42 hits, 27 PIM and a minus-10 rating across 17 appearances.

Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Picks up two points in loss
Thompson scored a power-play goal on five shots and added an assist in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche.
This was Thompson's second multi-point effort in the last three contests. The 28-year-old is still finding ways to stay involved on offense, but the Sabres are getting inconsistent performances from the rest of the roster. For the season, Thompson is at 14 points (five on the power play), 66 shots on net, 24 hits, 11 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 17 outings.

Brock Nelson C | COL
Avalanche's Brock Nelson: Finds twine in win
Nelson scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.
Nelson still hasn't produced a multi-point effort this year, but he has three goals and two helpers over his last nine outings. That's nothing special, but it's better than his quiet start to the season. Overall, the second-line center is at seven points, 28 shots on net, 14 blocked shots, 10 hits, 10 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 18 appearances.

Gavin Brindley C | COL
Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Thrives on second line
Brindley scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and doled out two hits in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.
Brindley is getting the first opportunity to fill in for Valeri Nichushkin (lower body) on the second line. It's still early, but the initial effort was promising, as Brindley helped out on a Brock Nelson tally in the first period before scoring one of his own -- the eventual game-winner -- in the second. Brindley has five points over his last four games and has earned his move into the top six through hard work. For the season, the 21-year-old is at four goals, seven points, 20 shots on net, 16 hits and a plus-3 rating over 16 appearances.

Martin Necas C | COL
Avalanche's Martin Necas: Erupts for four points
Necas scored twice, added two assists, logged two hits and went plus-4 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Sabres.
Necas set the tone with a goal 52 seconds into the game. He also assisted on Artturi Lehkonen's first-period tally and added another goal and helper in the third to help the Avalanche solidify their lead. Necas has gotten on the scoresheet in seven of the last eight games, totaling six goals and six helpers in that span. For the season, the 26-year-old winger is up to 12 goals, 24 points, 39 shots on net, 21 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 18 appearances. After last year's blockbuster trade to Colorado, Necas put up 28 points in 30 regular-season contests for the Avalanche, but he's found another level in 2025-26.
