  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Sets up both goals in win

Celebrini registered two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Wild.

Celebrini's point streak is up to four games (three goals, five assists) with this effort, which saw him set up tallies by Will Smith and Collin Graf. The 19-year-old Celebrini continues to rank among the top point producers in the league so far -- his hot stretch has him up to 10 goals, 16 helpers, 49 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 17 outings this season.

  • Will Smith C | SJ

Sharks' Will Smith: Ties game on power play

Smith scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Wild.

Smith is up to three goals and seven points during his five-game point streak. His tally Tuesday was his first on the power play this season, though he's been just fine at filling the net at even strength in what's shaping up to be a breakout year. Overall, Smith is up to seven goals, 17 points (four on the power play), 35 shots on net and a plus-10 rating through 17 appearances.

  • Kent Johnson C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Absent from lineup Tuesday

Johnson (undisclosed) is not expected to play Tuesday versus the Kraken, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

The Blue Jackets have been dealing with an illness and could also have some injury concerns, so it's unclear why exactly Johnson is out. Johnson can be considered day-to-day until more information is available. Columbus will get Cole Sillinger and Miles Wood back from their respective illnesses to help fill out the lineup Tuesday.

  • Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Slated to return

Sillinger (illness) is projected to play Tuesday versus the Kraken, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

After a one-game absence, Sillinger appears set to return. The 22-year-old is likely to slot in on the third line in his usual spot alongside Charlie Coyle and Mathieu Olivier.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Injured Tuesday

Matthews (lower body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Bruins.

Matthews left the game after a hit by Nikita Zadorov. The 28-year-old Matthews' absence is a big concern for a Maple Leafs team that has won just twice in its first five games in November. It's unclear if Matthews will be able to suit up Thursday versus the Kings.

  • Wild's Carter Klippenstein: Deals three helpers

Klippenstein recorded three assists in WHL Brandon's 7-4 loss to Red Deer on Tuesday.

Klippenstein has heated up in November, earning a goal and seven assists over his last four games. He had just six points in nine outings in October. The Wild prospect doesn't rely on offense to make an impact, instead playing a well-rounded game at the best of times, as he is currently.

  • John Beecher C | CGY

Bruins' John Beecher: Still out Tuesday

Beecher (upper body) won't play Tuesday versus the Maple Leafs, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Beecher will miss his second straight game due to the injury. The 24-year-old forward should be considered questionable to return for the Bruins' upcoming two-game road trip, which features games in Ottawa on Thursday and in Montreal on Saturday.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Labeled day-to-day

Barron (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day but won't be in action against Vancouver on Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Barron will be sidelined for his fourth consecutive game due to his undisclosed injury, but he at least seems to be trending in the right direction. After a strong start to the season, five points in the first four games -- the 26-year-old Barron has been ice cold of late, registering a lone point in his last eight outings. Once Barron is given the all-clear, he will likely bump Parker Ford from the lineup, though Barron will first need to be activated off IR before he can play.

  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Ducks' Ryan Strome: Still out Tuesday

Strome (upper body) remains on the shelf against the Avs on Tuesday despite his activation from IR, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Strome was taken off injured reserve Sunday, but he still hasn't gotten back into the lineup for the Ducks. While the 32-year-old center has notched 41 points in three straight seasons, this extended absence to open the season will likely prevent him from hitting that mark in 2025-26. Even once given the all-clear, Strome may not be able to unseat Leo Carlsson or Mason McTavish for a spot in the top six.

  • Frank Nazar C | CHI

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Set to miss out Wednesday

Nazar (undisclosed) isn't expected to face the Devils on Wednesday but remains day-to-day, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Prior to getting hurt, Nazar was mired in a five-game pointless streak during which he recorded 13 shots, seven blocks and one hit. Despite the recent slump, the 21-year-old center remains on pace to top his 2024-25 numbers and set new career highs in both goals and assists. In the meantime, Ryan Greene will remain in the second-line center role for the Hawks heading into Wednesday's matchup with New Jersey.
