Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Two-point effort Monday
Horvat scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Devils.
The veteran center got the Islanders on the board early in the second period by snapping a shot past Jacob Markstrom to finish off an odd-man rush. Horvat is up to 12 goals on the season, two back of Nathan MacKinnon for the NHL lead, and his 20 points in 16 games paces the Isles by a healthy margin -- linemate Kyle Palmieri is tied with Mathew Barzal in second place with 13 points.

Cole Sillinger C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Unavailable in Edmonton
Sillinger is dealing with an illness and isn't in the lineup for Monday's road game versus the Oilers, according to Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers.
Sillinger will miss his first game of the season Monday. Miles Wood (illness) is also unavailable in Edmonton, so Zach Aston-Reese and Isac Lundestrom will suit up and skate in fourth-line roles. Sillinger's next chance to return to game action will be in the second half of a back-to-back in Seattle on Tuesday.

Tommy Novak C | PIT
Penguins' Thomas Novak: Opens scoring in loss
Novak scored a goal and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Kings.
Novak opened the scoring at 8:48 of the first period. This was just his second goal of the year, though he produced a decent four assists over nine contests between tallies. The 28-year-old is up to seven points, 22 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating while filling a middle-six role.

William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Unavailable Monday
Karlsson (lower body) won't play against Florida on Monday, according to SinBin Vegas.
Karlsson will miss at least one game after getting hurt in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Anaheim. However, it's unclear when he will be ready to return. Karlsson has earned four goals, seven points, 30 shots on net and 13 blocked shots through 14 appearances this season. With Karlsson unavailable to play versus the Panthers, Brett Howden will occupy the third-line center role in Monday's lineup.

Anze Kopitar C | LA
Kings' Anze Kopitar: Finds twine Sunday
Kopitar scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
Kopitar lit the lamp on a power play just six minutes after the Penguins opened the scoring. With the tally, the 38-year-old center is up to two goals, eight points and 18 shots on goal in 12 games this season. Since his return from injury on Oct. 25, he has four total points and is beginning to trend upwards with a goal in each of his last two games. The 20-year NHL veteran is just 14 points away from 1,300 in his career, which he should hit with ease later this season if he stays healthy. Even in his last season, Kopitar is still a near point-per-game player and has a case to be rostered in most fantasy formats.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Designated for IR
Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
With the news that Nugent-Hopkins was going to miss a week of action, and the Oilers needing a spot on the 23-man roster for Mattias Janmark (undisclosed), the decision to place Nugent-Hopkins on injured reserve shouldn't come as a surprise. In his stead, Noah Philp will get the first crack at the second-line center role while Leon Draisaitl shifts to Connor McDavid's wing.

Matt Rempe C | NYR
Rangers' Matt Rempe: Moves to LTIR
Rempe (upper body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Monday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
The Rangers activated Vincent Trocheck (upper body) from LTIR in a corresponding move. Rempe is out indefinitely and has already missed the last seven games. His move to LTIR isn't likely to impact his timeline for a return. Rempe has produced one goal, eight shots on net, 30 hits and seven PIM across nine appearances this season.

Jiri Kulich C | BUF
Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Set to miss significant time
Head coach Lindy Ruff said Monday that Kulich (ear) is slated to miss significant time due to a blood clot issue, Brayton J. Wilson of WBEN reports.
Kulich landed on injured reserve last week due to fluid in his ears, and he'll miss extended time due to what Ruff called a "pretty serious" blood clot issue. However, Ruff hopes that Kulich will be able to return to game action before the end of the regular season. Prior to sustaining his injury, Kulich recorded three goals, two assists, 12 blocked shots, nine hits and four PIM while averaging 16:22 of ice time over 12 appearances.

Dylan Larkin C | DET
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Lights lamp Sunday
Larkin scored a goal and put seven shots on target in Sunday's 5-1 loss to Chicago.
Larkin's tally was one of the lone bright spots of the game for Detroit's offense, which has scored just two goals in the team's last three games. Overall, the 29-year-old Larkin has nine goals, 19 points and 51 shots on net across 16 games this season. While his scoring pace has slowed over the past two weeks, Larkin still finds himself in the top-20 across the league in total points. He's also tied for 20th in shots on goal and should remain a high-level option in all fantasy formats with his consistent scoring track record.

Oliver Moore C | CHI
Blackhawks' Oliver Moore: Scores first NHL goal
Moore scored a goal and put five shots on net in Sunday's 5-1 win over Detroit.
Moore's first goal at the NHL level came with 16 seconds to go in regulation. Since his call-up from AHL Rockford, he has two points in four contests with the Blackhawks. The 20-year-old has seen a nice stint on the second line due to the injuries to Jason Dickinson (shoulder) and Frank Nazar (undisclosed). It remains to be seen whether Moore will head back down to AHL Rockford when Dickinson is activated from IR, but Moore's first stint in the NHL this season could lead to more opportunities in the future.
