Glenn Gawdin C | ANA
Kings' Glenn Gawdin: Nets pair for Reign
Gawdin scored twice in AHL Ontario's 4-3 overtime win over San Diego on Saturday.
Gawdin is up to three goals and eight points through 12 appearances this season. The 28-year-old forward had a career-best 26 goals and 62 points in 72 regular-season outings with the Reign last year, but he's off to a slower start in 2025-26. Even so, the Kings tend not to make a lot of roster moves unless they have to, and it will likely take multiple injuries for him to be an option on the NHL roster. He did not receive a call-up in 2024-25.

Braeden Cootes C | VAN
Canucks' Braeden Cootes: Six-point eruption for T-Birds
Cootes scored twice and added four assists in WHL Seattle's 7-3 win over Vancouver on Saturday.
Canucks fans were likely split on this one if they support the local junior team as well, as the future star of the NHL club shredded the Giants in this outing. Cootes is up to five goals and eight assists over eight appearances since returning to the Thunderbirds following an NHL stint to begin 2025-26. It's obvious why the Canucks wanted to give the 18-year-old an audition, as he looks to be too talented to be challenged by junior hockey at this point.

Christian Dvorak C | PHI
Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Three assists in last two games
Dvorak picked up two assists in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators on Saturday.
Dvorak has three assists in his last two games. He has nine points, including six assists, in 15 games this season. That puts Dvorak on a career pace (49 points). His previous best season came in Arizona in 2019-20 when he delivered 38 points (18 goals, 20 assists) in 70 regular-season games.

William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Suffers injury Saturday
Karlsson (undisclosed) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Ducks, Ryan Wallis of Fox Sports Las Vegas reports.
It's unclear what Karlsson's injury is because it wasn't noticeable during the game. The 32-year-old center is a key part of the Golden Knights' middle six, which would make him a tough loss if he's out for any time. Alexander Holtz would likely enter the lineup if Karlsson misses action, though the team might also want to add a forward from AHL Henderson for depth purposes.

Jack Nesbitt C | PHI
Flyers' Jack Nesbitt: Five-point effort in win
Nesbitt scored a goal and added four assists in OHL Windsor's 6-3 win over Brampton on Saturday.
Nesbitt had his best game of the season in this win. He's up to six goals and 10 assists through 14 appearances for the Spitfires this season. The Flyers prospect also has 44 shots on net and a plus-6 rating so far. Nesbitt continues to be a creative player who should have a future in Philadelphia in a few years.

Cole Reschny C | CGY
Flames' Cole Reschny: Leads UND in win
Reschny scored a goal and added two assists in the University of North Dakota's 4-1 win over the University of Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday.
Reschny popped off to help North Dakota earn the weekend sweep over Omaha. For the season, Reschny has two goals and eight assists through 10 games to begin his freshman year of college. The Flames prospect, selected 18th overall in 2025, should continue to display plenty of playmaking upside throughout his NCAA career.

Michael Amadio C | OTT
Senators' Michael Amadio: Three-game goal streak
Amadio scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flyers.
He has lit the lamp once in three straight games. Amadio pushed the score to 2-0 in the first frame when he took a centering pass from Claude Giroux, skated in from the slot and beat Samuel Ersson glove side. Amadio isn't known for his offense, having reached the 27-point plateau in three consecutive regular seasons going into the 2025-26 campaign. His shooting percentage (29.4) is also unsustainable, making him a sell-high candidate if anyone is interested.

Scott Laughton C | LA
Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Out Sunday, needs more evaluation
Laughton (upper body) won't play Sunday versus the Hurricanes, but his status beyond that has yet to be determined, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Laughton, who just recently returned from a lower-body injury, appears set for another absence. The 31-year-old was injured in the second period of Saturday's contest versus the Bruins on a heavy hit by Nikita Zadorov. With Laughton out, expect Calle Jarnkrok to get back in the lineup Sunday.

Sean Monahan C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Sean Monahan: Slated to play Saturday
Monahan (upper body) is expected to play against Vancouver on Saturday, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.
Monahan suffered an upper-body injury in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to Calgary, but it appears he won't miss a full game due to the issue. He has a goal and six points in 13 appearances this year. Monahan is projected to play alongside Miles Wood and Kent Johnson versus the Canucks.

Scott Laughton C | LA
Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Sustains upper-body injury
Laughton suffered an upper-body injury and won't return to Saturday's game against Boston.
Laughton was playing in his second game of the season after missing the start of the campaign due to a lower-body injury. Laughton would be a mainstay in Toronto's bottom six if he stayed healthy. If Laughton ends up missing another chunk of time, Calle Jarnkrok or Sammy Blais will draw back into the lineup.
