  • Noel Acciari C | PIT

Penguins' Noel Acciari: Goes on injured reserve

Acciari (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Pittsburgh recalled Danton Heinen from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in a corresponding move. Acciari will miss at least the next three games, beginning with Thursday's matchup against Washington, after being hurt in Monday's 4-3 loss to Toronto. However, it is unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. He has contributed three assists, 11 shots on goal, 10 blocked shots and 18 hits in 13 appearances this season.

  • Danton Heinen LW | CLB

Penguins' Danton Heinen: Brought up Tuesday

Heinen was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.

The Penguins are dealing with a number of injuries up front, and Heinen will help replenish the team's depth. He can be expected to contend for bottom-six minutes while with the big club.

  • Gustav Nyquist RW | WPG

Jets' Gustav Nyquist: Moves to IR

Nyquist (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

Nyquist will miss his second straight game against the Kings on Tuesday. He is considered day-to-day, but it's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. Nyquist has registered five assists, 14 shots on goal, five blocked shots and six hits across 11 appearances this season.

Jets' Gustav Nyquist: Not slated to play

Nyquist (undisclosed) isn't expected to play against the Kings on Tuesday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Nyquist remains day-to-day and will miss his second straight outing. He has contributed five assists, 14 shots on goal, five blocked shots and six hits across 11 appearances this season. With Nyquist and Morgan Barron (undisclosed) unavailable, Adam Lowry will make his season debut after recovering from offseason hip surgery.

  • Sharks' Adam Gaudette: Traveling with team

Gaudette (upper body) will join the Sharks for their road clash with Seattle on Wednesday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Gaudette seems to be trending in the right direction, but he will need to be activated off injured reserve before he can return to the lineup. Prior to his four-game absence, the 29-year-old Gaudette was putting together a decent start to the campaign, registering three goals, one assist and 12 shots while averaging 10:42 of ice time. If Gaudette does play Wednesday, it will likely come in a top-six role thanks to the absence of William Eklund (lower body).

  • Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Dealing with lower-body issue

Dellandrea will travel with the team for Wednesday's matchup with Seattle despite a lower-body injury, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Dellandrea is goalless through 13 games this season while putting just nine shots on net. The 25-year-old center has added five helpers and 29 hits along the way, but will no doubt be eager to find the back of the net sooner rather than later. If Dellandrea can't play Wednesday, it could see the Sharks rolling with seven blueliners against the Kraken.

  • Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Adds pair of helpers

Nugent-Hopkins logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Blues.

Nugent-Hopkins helped out on goals by Jack Roslovic and Andrew Mangiapane as the Oilers jumped out to a 2-0 lead that wouldn't last. While he hasn't scored in six games, Nugent-Hopkins has six assists, including four on the power play, in that span. Overall, the 32-year-old forward is at five goals, 10 helpers, nine power-play points, 23 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 14 outings this season.

  • Pius Suter C | STL

Blues' Pius Suter: Pots game-winning goal

Suter scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.

Suter struck with 1:23 left in the third period, breaking a 2-2 tie in the process. The 29-year-old has four points over his last four games and looks to be settling in as a middle-six center for the Blues. He's up to five goals, eight points, 22 shots on net, 10 hits and a plus-2 rating across 13 contests. Suter isn't the strongest scorer from a fantasy perspective, but he should be capable of challenging for a new career high in points after putting up 46 in 81 games with the Canucks last year.

  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Ducks' Ryan Strome: Participating in practice

Strome (upper body) joined the team at Tuesday's morning skate, per Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune.

Cavanagh noted that this is the first time Strome has practiced since the start of the campaign. The veteran forward has yet to play in 2025-26 and is on injured reserve due to his upper-body injury. Head coach Joel Quenneville recently said that Strome isn't too far off from a return to the lineup, but the 32-year-old will likely need a few more practices to work his way back toward game shape. Strome should slot into a middle-six role once he's given the green light to return to the lineup. The 2011 first-round selection had 10 goals and 41 points across 82 games last season.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Contributes assist Monday

Svechkov logged an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canucks.

Svechkov was credited with a helper on Michael Bunting's third-period tally to pull the Predators within a goal. The helper was Svechkov's first point of the season. The 22-year-old center plays more of a defensive role on the third line, but he was scratched for a couple of games last week due to his slow start to the year. He's added 20 shots on net, six hits and a minus-3 rating across 12 appearances so far.
