  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Opens scoring Tuesday

Vilardi scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.

Vilardi planted himself down low in front of Filip Gustavsson and was quickly rewarded when he slammed home a rebound goal midway through the first period. The goal was Vilardi's second of the season, and he's now racked up eight points through the first 10 games of the season. The 2017 first-round pick scored 27 goals last season, and he figures to be a 30-goal, 60-point threat as long as he continues riding shotgun alongside Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor on Winnipeg's top forward line and power-play unit.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Won't play Tuesday

Thomas (upper body) won't be in the lineup Tuesday versus the Red Wings, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.

Thomas will be out for a second straight game, but he is still considered day-to-day. His ongoing absence will be enough for Alexandre Texier to stay in the lineup, while Brayden Schenn and Oskar Sundqvist figure to get a few more minutes up the middle. The Blues' next contest is at home versus the Canucks on Thursday.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Devils' Cody Glass: Moved to injured reserve

Glass (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Glass' designation comes as the team activated Juho Lammikko (lower body) ahead of Tuesday's clash with the Avalanche. With Glass not traveling with the team, it was an easy decision to put him on IR to open up a roster spot. In his six outings this year, the 26-year-old forward has registered two goals, nine shots and three hits while averaging 12:33 of ice time.

  • Golden Knights' Colton Sissons: Not expected to play

Sissons (undisclosed) isn't expected to play against Carolina on Tuesday, according to NHL.com.

Sissons will miss at least one game after being injured in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to Tampa Bay. He has picked up one assist, four shots on goal, five blocked shots and 11 hits across nine appearances this season. Cole Reinhardt will replace Sissons in Tuesday's lineup.

  • Matt Rempe C | NYR

Rangers' Matt Rempe: Facing long-term absence

Rempe (upper body) is out indefinitely, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports Tuesday.

Rempe sustained a long-term injury in Thursday's 6-5 overtime loss to San Jose. He has chipped in one goal, eight shots on net, 30 hits and seven PIM across nine appearances this season. Once Rempe receives the green light to play again, he will be in the mix for a fourth-line role.

  • Golden Knights' Colton Sissons: Injured against Bolts

Sissons left Sunday's matchup with the Lightning in the second period with an undisclosed injury, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Looking ahead to Tuesday's matchup with the Hurricanes, Sissons should probably be considered questionable at best. The 31-year-old winger is still looking for his first goal of the 2025-26 campaign, having managed just one helper and four shots in his first nine contests. Cole Reinhardt figures to step into the lineup if Sissons is unable to play.

  • Sharks' Adam Gaudette: Still being evaluated

Gaudette (upper body) could be out longer than day-to-day, according to Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now on Tuesday.

Gaudette won't play against the Kings on Tuesday, and it appears he will miss additional time afterward. The Sharks should have an update on his status Wednesday. Gaudette has three goals, one assist, 12 shots on net and five hits across nine appearances this season.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Set to miss at least 2-3 weeks

Granlund (lower body) will be out for at least a few weeks, according to NHL.com.

Granlund could be unavailable for around two or three weeks after getting injured in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay. He has generated two goals, six assists and 19 shots on net across eight outings this season. Due to Granlund's absence, Jansen Harkins will make his season debut against Florida on Tuesday after recovering from an upper-body injury.

  • Nick Cousins C | OTT

Senators' Nick Cousins: Goals in consecutive games

Cousins scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 7-2 win over the Bruins.

The Senators' offense has racked up 14 goals over the last two games, allowing even depth players like Cousins to get in on the fun. The 32-year-old has scored in both of those contests and has a total of three points with nine shots, 19 hits, six PIM and a plus-1 rating over 10 appearances this season.

  • Blues' Nick Bjugstad: Pair of points Monday

Bjugstad scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Penguins.

Bjugstad ended a five-game slump with this performance. The 33-year-old has slotted onto the Blues' fourth line, and while he's played in all nine contests so far, he has just three points to show for it. The veteran center has added seven shots on net, 22 hits, eight blocked shots and six PIM. Expect most of his production to come in the non-scoring areas.
