  • Blues' Nick Bjugstad: Pair of points Monday

Bjugstad scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Penguins.

Bjugstad ended a five-game slump with this performance. The 33-year-old has slotted onto the Blues' fourth line, and while he's played in all nine contests so far, he has just three points to show for it. The veteran center has added seven shots on net, 22 hits, eight blocked shots and six PIM. Expect most of his production to come in the non-scoring areas.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

    Stars' Matt Duchene: Deemed day-to-day

Duchene (upper body) is day-to-day and isn't expected to suit up for Tuesday's home game against the Capitals, according to Brien Rea of Victory+.

Duchene has sat out four consecutive games and five of the last six while tending to an upper-body injury, which he sustained against the Wild on Oct. 14. Roope Hintz (undisclosed) is also day-to-day, so the Stars are currently thin up the middle. Tyler Seguin and Wyatt Johnston are serving as the top-two centers while Duchene and Hintz work their way back to full strength.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Two-point effort in win

Malkin produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-3 win over the Blues.

The Penguins' second line of Malkin, Anthony Mantha and Justin Brazeau continues to be a force, combining for two goals and five points Monday. Malkin has gotten onto the scoresheet in seven straight contests, with multi-point performances in four of them, and through 10 games, he's erupted for three goals and 16 points.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Reaches another milestone

Crosby scored a goal and added two assists in Monday's 6-3 win over the Blues.

With his third-period assist on Bryan Rust's game-winner, Crosby reached 1,700 points for his career, becoming just the ninth player in NHL history to achieve that milestone -- and only the third to do it all with one franchise, after Steve Yzerman (1,755 with the Red Wings) and Mario Lemieux (1,723 with the Penguins). The 38-year-old superstar should pass both legends this season, and Marcel Dionne (1,771 career points) is also within sight, giving Crosby a good chance of finishing 2025-26 in sixth place on the all-time scoring list. Through the first 10 games of the campaign, he's already racked up seven goals and 14 points.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Point streak at seven games

Kyrou scored his third goal of the season in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Penguins.

The 27-year-old winger knotted the game at 2-2 late in the first period, tapping home a slick feed from Brayden Schenn on an odd-man rush, but the game slipped away from the Blues over the last 40 minutes. Kyrou has gotten onto the scoresheet in seven straight contests, but he has yet to record a multi-point performance, collecting three goals and four points during the streak.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scoring streak reaches four games

Geekie scored a goal, took three shots and delivered two hits in Monday's 7-2 loss to the Senators.

Geekie scored the first goal of the game at 3:06 of the first period with a wrister, but the Senators would take control of the game right after that. This was Geekie's seventh goal of the campaign, and he's notched five of them over an ongoing four-game scoring run. During that four-game stretch, Geekie has also racked up 15 shots on goal, seven hits and one blocked shot.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Shifts to IR

Rakell (hand) was designated for injured reserve Monday.

Rakell is expected to be out for 6-8 weeks after undergoing hand surgery, which will see him sidelined until mid-to-late December. With the 32-year-old Swede on the shelf, Filip Hallander looks set to get the first crack at playing on the top line with Sidney Crosby -- though Ville Koivunen and Benjamin Kindel could also get looks.

  • Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Finds twine Sunday

Eriksson Ek scored a goal on five shots, added four hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.

Eriksson Ek hadn't scored since Opening Night. The 28-year-old has two goals and five assists over 10 appearances this season while filling a top-six role and a spot on the first power-play unit. He plays close to the net a lot of the time, so his goal-scoring luck should turn around. The center has added 31 shots on net, 17 hits, nine blocked shots, eight PIM and a minus-4 rating, making him a strong option for category coverage.

  • Sharks' Barclay Goodrow: Nabs assist Sunday

Goodrow posted an assist in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Wild.

The helper was Goodrow's first point in nine games this season. He saw a season-low 8:57 of ice time and has been below the 10-minute mark in three of the last four contests as the Sharks lean more on their top forwards. Goodrow has racked up eight shots on net, 14 hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. He's a safe bet to stay in the lineup due to his defensive play, but he won't be a strong source of scoring.

  • Sharks' Michael Misa: Gets first NHL goal

Misa scored a goal and added two PIM in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win over the Wild.

Misa has gotten on the scoresheet in each of his last three appearances, earning a goal and two assists. Through five outings overall, he has produced four shots on net, three blocked shots and two hits. Misa has been sheltered from playing in back-to-back sets and is averaging 12:22 of ice time so far in a third-line role with power-play time. The Sharks play four times in six days between Tuesday and Sunday, so Misa will likely suit up in no more than three of those contests.
