  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores in loss

Geekie scored a goal in a 4-3 loss to the Lightning on Monday.

The goal came midway through the second period; it got the Bruins within one. Geekie has two goals and one assist (five shots) in his first four games. His role on the top line is secure and another near-60 point season is within reach. Geekie exploded with 33 goals and 57 points in 77 games last year.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Four-game, five-point streak

Zacha had two assists in a 4-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Monday.

Zacha has at least one point in each of the Bruins' first four games (one goal, four assists). He does have two recent seasons with 57 and 59 points (2022-23 and 2023-24), so he may deliver surprising results this season. Zacha is one of three Bruins players since 2019-20 with at least four assists through his first four games of a season. David Pastrnak (five in 2022-23) and Connor Clifton (four in 2022-23) are the others.

  • Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Three assists in last two games

Goncalves delivered two assists in a 4-3 victory over the Bruins on Monday.

He, Jake Guentzel and Anthony Cirelli came out hot and accounted for the first two Tampa Bay goals. Goncalves finished 2024-25 with 20 points in 60 games, and he will obliterate that total quickly with this plum assignment. He already has three assists in his last two games.

  • Lightning's Yanni Gourde: Goal in each of last two games

Gourde scored a goal Monday in a 4-3 win over Boston.

Gourde pushed the Lightning up 3-0 on a tap-in off a turnover just 39 seconds into the middle frame. He put up five shots. Gourde is coming off two down years (33 and 31 points, respectively), and the 33-year-old pivot is looking to rebound back to the 40-point mark. So far, so good. He has a goal in each of his last two games.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Stays hot in win

Scheifele tallied a goal, fired four shots on net and served two PIM in Monday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Scheifele extended his exceptional start to the season with his third straight game with a point. After back-to-back games with multi-point efforts, Scheifele's empty-netter raised his season total to three goals and three assists across a trio of appearances. His 87 points in the 2024-25 regular season ranked 17th among all skaters. He is currently tied with Minnesota's Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov for fourth-most in the NHL. The 32-year-old Scheifele hasn't shown any signs of slowing down and can be considered an elite option in all fantasy formats moving forward.

  • Blackhawks' Jason Dickinson: Available for Monday's home game

Dickinson (upper body) will suit up in Monday's home contest versus Utah, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Head coach Jeff Blashill relayed Saturday that Dickinson could be out for a week, but the veteran forward seemingly made quick strides in his recovery. The 30-year-old will center the third line between Ryan Donato and Ilya Mikheyev on Monday.

  • Mammoth's Barrett Hayton: Suiting up in Chicago

Hayton (undisclosed) is in the lineup for Monday's road game against the Blackhawks.

Hayton was deemed a game-time decision earlier Monday, but he'll suit up for the first time in 2025-26 and center the first line. Andrew Agozzino will come out of the lineup as a result of Hayton's return to game action.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Adds onto solid start

Barron scored the opening goal, had an assist and dished out two hits in Monday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.

Barron struck the back of the net for the first goal of the contest to help his new linemate Cole Koepke (lower body) register his first point with the team. Barron later notched a secondary assist on Logan Stanley's goal in the second period. Overall, the 26-year-old Barron is up to two goals, two assists and six hits through three games this season. He has filled in the fourth-line center role admirably to start the season in the absence of team captain Adam Lowry, who is expected to return from hip surgery in late October. With four points out of the gate this year, Barron should have the chance to challenge for the 20-point mark for the second time in four seasons with Winnipeg. If he can maintain a fraction of this offensive pace, he could be due for a career year, making him an intriguing name to watch in deeper leagues.

  • Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Four assists in first three games

Guentzel put up two assists Monday in a 4-3 win over Boston.

He set up both goals by Anthony Cirelli. Guentzel has four assists in three games this season. He has put up 314 points, including 147 goals, in 301 regular-season games in the past four seasons. Last season, Guentzel set career marks in goals (41), power-play goals (17) and power-play points (28). He'll find twine soon.

  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: First two goals of season

Cirelli scored twice Monday in a 4-3 win over Boston.

Cirelli redirected a centering pass from Jake Guentzel past Joonas Korpisalo at 1:09 of the first to get the Lightning on the board fast. He then went glove side on Korpisalo to make it 2-0 at 13:16 of the second. The goals are Cirelli's first points of the season (three games). He established new career marks for goals (27), assists (32), points (59), plus-minus (plus 30) and shots (160) in 2024-25. Cirelli is in his prime and a repeat of last season (or better) is entirely possible.
