  • Ryan Suzuki C | CAR

Hurricanes' Ryan Suzuki: Hat trick in AHL series-clincher

Suzuki scored three goals in AHL Chicago's 6-1 win over Texas in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Suzuki is up to four goals, two assists and 16 shots on net over five playoff games. The center had 48 points over 66 regular-season outings. With Tuesday's win, Suzuki and the Wolves are through to the Central Division Finals, so it'll be awhile before he's a potential call-up to the Hurricanes.

  • Tristan Broz C | PIT

Penguins' Tristan Broz: Three helpers in win

Broz notched three assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 4-3 overtime win over Hershey in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Broz got on the scoresheet for the first time this postseason with this performance. The forward logged 39 points over 47 regular-season appearances in the AHL and also made his NHL debut back in November. Broz will likely be in contention for more NHL minutes in 2026-27, but he'll probably need more time with the farm team as well.

  • Flyers' Sean Couturier: Pots goal in Game 2 loss

Couturier scored a goal on five shots and added five hits in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 2.

This was Couturier's first goal of the playoffs. The 33-year-old center has been listed on the fourth line, but he saw a postseason-high 24:51 of ice time in this contest. He's earned a goal, three helpers, 21 shots on net, 29 hits and a plus-2 rating across eight playoff outings. Couturier may not lead the Flyers' forwards in ice time often anymore, but he'll still be relied on in defensive situations.

  • Seth Jarvis C | CAR

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Nets equalizer Monday

Jarvis scored a goal on four shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Flyers in Game 2.

The Hurricanes had an uncharacteristic slow start in this contest, falling behind 2-0 within the first five minutes. They dug in and got back on track, with Jarvis' tally at 11:21 of the third period tying the game at 2-2 to force overtime, where Taylor Hall stayed hot with the game-winner. Jarvis is warming up himself with a goal and three assists over his last three games after getting held off the scoresheet in the first three playoff contests. He's added 11 shots on net, nine hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over six outings this postseason.

  • Sam Carrick C | BUF

Sabres' Sam Carrick: Upgraded to day-to-day

Carrick (arm) is day-to-day after participating in Tuesday's practice, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Carrick has been out since March 31 after getting injured against the Islanders, and he was initially not expected to be an option for Round 2 of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, he could be available to return at some point during Buffalo's second-round series versus Montreal. He had nine goals, 16 points, 75 shots on net and 106 hits across 73 appearances between the Sabres and Rangers during the 2025-26 regular season. Once Carrick receives the green light to play, he could replace Tyson Kozak on the fourth line.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Keeps scoring streak alive

Howden scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Monday's 3-1 win over the Ducks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Howden went pointless in the Golden Knights' first three playoff games, but he's been on a tear since then and is currently riding a four-game, five-goal streak. Howden has scored his five goals on eight shots, so he's going to regress at some point, but he should continue to play a prominent role on offense for Vegas as long as he stays hot.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Scores in loss to Vegas

Granlund scored a goal in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Granlund mustered all the offense the Ducks could generate with a third-period goal, but the Golden Knights restored the lead quickly afterward and never looked back. Granlund should remain productive for the Ducks as long as he holds a top-six role in the lineup. He has three goals and three assists in his last five playoff contests.

  • Senators' Stephen Halliday: Signs two-year extension

Halliday agreed to terms on a two-year, $2.15 million contract extension with Ottawa on Tuesday.

Halliday was scheduled to be a restricted free agent this offseason, but he has secured a new two-year deal with the club. In 30 appearances for the Sens this year, the 23-year-old center notched four goals, seven assists and 34 shots, including three power-play helpers. Even with a new deal in hand, Halliday could still spend some time in the minors during the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Ridly Greig C | OTT

Senators' Ridly Greig: Receives two-game suspension

Greig was suspended for two 2026-27 regular-season games by the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for roughing Carolina's Sean Walker on April 25.

The incident occurred in Ottawa's season-ending Game 4 playoff loss to the Hurricanes. Greig had one assist in the series after collecting 13 goals, 35 points, 129 shots on net and 96 hits in 77 appearances during the 2025-26 regular season.

  • Ducks' Jansen Harkins: Option for second round

Harkins (hand) appears available to play in the second round of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs against Vegas, per Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune on Monday.

Harkins has been a full participant in practices during the playoffs, but he hasn't played since March 24 against Vancouver. Despite being an option to play against the Golden Knights on Monday in Game 1, Harkins is in line to be a healthy scratch.
