Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Lends helper in win
Nugent-Hopkins notched an assist and four PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 1.
Nugent-Hopkins helped out on Zach Hyman's go-ahead goal in the third period. The 32-year-old Nugent-Hopkins has three goals and three assists during his five-game point streak, which accounts for all of his offense in seven playoff contests. He's added 13 shots on net, five hits, six blocked shots and a plus-1 rating while seeing consistent top-six minutes.

Oilers' Connor McDavid: Supplies two helpers
McDavid logged two assists, four shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 1.

The superstar center has earned two goals, 11 assists, 27 shots on net, 16 hits and a plus-6 rating this postseason. Win or lose, McDavid is a regular on the scoresheet as one of the Oilers' most talented players.

Connor Brown RW | NJ
Oilers' Connor Brown: Lights lamp Tuesday
Brown scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 1.
Brown tallied an insurance goal with 1:46 left in the contest. With four goals and two assists over seven playoff outings, Brown has played his role well in a middle-six capacity. In addition to his depth scoring, he's supplied 13 shots on net, five hits, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating. Brown won't contribute on offense every game, but he's a decent option in DFS as a value pick.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Nets go-ahead goal in Game 1 win
Hyman scored a goal and added six hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 1.
Hyman tallied with 3:02 left in the third period to give the Oilers their first lead of the contest. The winger's tally stood as the game-winner. He has managed three goals, three assists, 15 shots on net, 49 hits and a plus-2 rating over seven playoff outings. Hyman has largely been stuck in a middle-six role while Corey Perry gets a look for top-six shifts, though the Oilers' forward lines are almost always in flux.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: One of each in Tuesday's win
Draisaitl scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 1.
Draisaitl tied the game at 2-2 early in the third period after previously helping out on Corey Perry's tally in the first. This was Draisaitl's fourth multi-point effort over seven playoff contests, though he was held off the scoresheet in Game 6 versus the Kings last Thursday. The 29-year-old has four goals, eight assists, 20 shots on net and a plus-7 rating so far this postseason.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Third goal of postseason
Stankoven scored a goal Tuesday in a 2-1 overtime win over Washington in Game 1.
Stankoven beat Logan Thompson with a glove-side wrister from the slot at 9:42 of the third to tie the game and ultimately force overtime. The goal was his third this postseason in six games -- not bad for a 22-year-old who put up eight points, including three goals, in 19 games with Dallas last season. Stankoven appears to be a natural fit in Raleigh, skating with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Taylor Hall on the team's second line.

Alexei Protas C | WAS
Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: First goal of postseason
Protas scored a goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 1 on Tuesday.
Protas opened the scoring early in the second period. He poked the puck to himself out of a battle at the blue line, skated down the right side and wired a wrist shot inside the far post from the right circle. It was Protas' first goal of the 2025 playoffs (two games). The big winger is coming off a 30-goal, 66-point campaign, and the Caps need his scoring touch against the dominating two-way presence of the Canes.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Suffers injury Tuesday
Jankowski (undisclosed) won't return to Tuesday's Game 1 versus the Capitals.
Jankowski was initially injured in the second period and was unable to return for the third. The 30-year-old had one assist over two appearances during the first round. If Jankowski is unavailable for Thursday's Game 2, Jack Roslovic or Tyson Jost are the top options to enter the lineup.

Patrick Brown C | BOS
Bruins' Patrick Brown: Signs one-year deal
Brown signed a one-year, two-way contract with Boston on Tuesday.
Brown will earn $775,000 if he plays in the NHL in 2025-26. He had one assist, 11 shots on goal, 12 blocked shots and 46 hits across 15 regular-season appearances with Boston this past campaign. Brown earned 17 goals and 46 points in 56 regular-season outings for AHL Providence in 2024-25.

Ross Colton C | COL
Avalanche's Ross Colton: Suffered groin pull
Colton missed the last six games with a groin pull, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports Tuesday.
Colton was previously ruled out for the first round, so it's not immediately clear if he would have been ready to play in the second round either. During the regular season, the 28-year-old winger notched 16 goals and 13 helpers, missing the 30-point threshold for the first time since 2020-21 when he logged just 30 games as a rookie.
