Mattias Janmark C | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Buries go-ahead goal
Janmark scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and logged two hits in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Kings in Game 5.
Janmark has scored twice over five playoff contests, matching his goal total from 80 regular-season appearances. The defensive forward has added five shots on net, six hits, eight PIM and a plus-3 rating this postseason. While he's providing a little depth scoring, it's unlikely to be a consistent part of his production as long as he's playing on the fourth line.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Fills empty cage
Nugent-Hopkins scored an empty-net goal on three shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Kings in Game 5.
Nugent-Hopkins has gotten on the scoresheet in all three of the Oilers' wins in this first-round series. He has two goals, one assist, 10 shots on net, four hits, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over five playoff contests. He remains firmly in a top-six role and on the first power-play unit, so he should be a decent source of scoring.

Pavel Dorofeyev RW | LV
Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Can't finish contest
Dorofeyev (undisclosed) didn't play after the 15:56 mark of the third period and wasn't on the bench in overtime in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Wild in Game 5, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
There was no update on Dorofeyev's status after the contest. If the winger is forced to miss Thursday's Game 6 in Minnesota, Victor Olofsson would likely enter the lineup in his place.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Supplies two helpers
Eriksson Ek notched two assists, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 5.
Eriksson Ek has three helpers over the last two contests after opening the series scoreless in three games. The 28-year-old has added 19 shots on net, eight hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating this postseason while skating in a top-line role. Eriksson Ek's all-situations usage should allow him to make a large impact now that the Wild are facing elimination in Thursday's Game 6.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Dishes pair of assists
Eichel notched two assists, five shots on goal and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Wild in Game 5.
Eichel set up goals by William Karlsson (shorthanded) and Mark Stone in the first period. After a quiet start to the series, Eichel has picked up three helpers over his last two games, and he finished with a positive rating (plus-1) for the first time in the first round. He's added 16 shots on net, 12 hits and three blocked shots over five outings.

Brett Howden C | LV
Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Seals win in overtime
Howden scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Wild in Game 5.
Howden buried a one-timer at 4:05 of overtime to give the Golden Knights the win in a pivotal Game 5. The 27-year-old has three goals, 10 shots on net, 12 hits and a plus-1 rating over five playoff outings while occupying a bottom-six role. Howden's current usage isn't exactly encouraging for offense, but the center has been an important depth scorer throughout 2024-25.
-
William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Opens scoring in win
Karlsson scored a shorthanded goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Wild in Game 5.
Karlsson capitalized on a feed from Jack Eichel to open the scoring at 8:25 of the first period. Both of Karlsson's points this postseason have come shorthanded. He's added nine shots on net, three blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over five appearances. Karlsson was shuffled up to the top line for Tuesday's contest, and if that change sticks, he'll have a stronger scoring outlook.

Dylan Cozens C | OTT
Senators' Dylan Cozens: Sharp shortie snipe in Game 5 win
Cozens scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 5.
Cozens pushed the score to 2-0 at 8:24 of the third period with a shorthanded goal glove side on a two-on-one break after the Sens intercepted the puck in their own zone. He has one goal, one assist and 12 shots in five games this postseason. Cozens has been outstanding since his arrival in trade from Buffalo, putting up 16 regular-season points (five goals, 11 assists) in just 21 games after tallying 31 (11 goals, 20 assists) in 61 contests.

Ross Colton C | COL
Avalanche's Ross Colton: Won't play during opening round
Colton (lower body) is not expected back during Colorado's first-round series against Dallas, Meghan Angley of Guerrilla Sports reports Tuesday.
Colton has already been shelved for eight of the Avs' last nine games and now will miss two more -- assuming the series goes a full seven games. Even once cleared to play, Colton will likely be relegated to a bottom-six role, especially following the return of Gabriel Landeskog from a long-term knee injury.

Matt Duchene C | DAL
Stars' Matt Duchene: Dishes helper in win
Duchene notched a power-play assist in Monday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche in Game 5.
Duchene set up Wyatt Johnston's second goal of the contest at 16:48 of the second period. After a 30-goal, 82-point effort over 82 regular-season games, Duchene has been quiet in the playoffs -- this was his first point in five postseason games. He's added eight shots on net, four hits, three blocked shots and a minus-3 rating against the Avalanche. The Stars have mostly succeeded on thin margins so far, but getting Duchene's offense going would help them advance to the second round.
