Jordan Kyrou C | STL
Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Goal, assist in loss
Kyrou scored a goal on five shots and added an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Oilers.
Kyrou tied the game at 2-2 early in the third period and set up a Pavel Buchnevich goal to even the score again at 3-3 a few minutes later. With five points over five outings in April, Kyrou continues to be an excellent source of offense. The winger is at 34 goals, 33 assists, 230 shots on net, 49 hits and a plus-21 rating over 80 appearances. He's matched his point total from 2023-24 and still has time to get to the 70-point mark for the third time in four years if he can play well in the last two games of the regular season.

Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Three helpers in return
McDavid notched three assists, four PIM and a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Blues.
McDavid led all Edmonton forwards with 20:35 of ice time in his return from an eight-game absence due to a lower-body injury. The 28-year-old picked up right where he left off -- he's amassed four goals and 18 assists over his last 14 outings. The Oilers can't really afford to rest any forwards until some of the injured ones return, so assume McDavid will continue to play as long as he's healthy. He's now at 93 points (26 goals, 67 helpers), 187 shots on net, 35 PIM, 39 hits and a plus-14 rating over 64 appearances. He'll have up to four games to make a push for the 100-point mark, a level he's missed just twice in the first nine years of his career.

Connor Brown RW | NJ
Oilers' Connor Brown: Scores twice in top-line twirl
Brown scored two goals on three shots and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Blues.
Brown got the Oilers on the board early in the second period and then secured the win with his second goal of the game at 19:39 of the third. Injuries have greatly impacted the Oilers' forward depth, but Brown was able to check in on the top line in Connor McDavid's (lower body) return. Brown has three goals over his last four contests and is up to 11 tallies, 28 points, 111 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 78 appearances.

The 33-year-old checking forward is up to 36 points, 184 shots, 168 hits, 61 blocks, 34 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 78 appearances in 2024-25 as a reliable middle-six contributor.

Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Finds twine Wednesday
Sharangovich scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks.

Morgan Frost C | CGY
Flames' Morgan Frost: Can't finish contest
Frost (undisclosed) didn't finish Wednesday's game versus the Ducks after a hit in the third period, Ryan Pike of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Frost took a beating in this contest, with his second unplanned trip to the locker room being enough to end his game. No update was available after the contest, leaving Frost questionable to play Friday versus the Wild. If he can't suit up, Dryden Hunt will likely enter the Flames' lineup for what amounts to a must-win game.

Jansen Harkins C | ANA
Ducks' Jansen Harkins: Drought continues Wednesday
Harkins' point drought is up to 23 games after he was held scoreless in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames.
Harkins has gotten a fair amount of time on the fourth line even late in the season. He was scratched versus the Oilers on Monday, but that was just his second trip to the press box since the start of March -- Brett Leason and Nikita Nesterenko have been scratched more frequently of late. However, Harkins is stuck on six points through 59 outings this season while adding 48 shots on net, 131 hits and a minus-13 rating. He'll likely end 2024-25 in a part-time role.

Ryan Strome C | CGY
Ducks' Ryan Strome: Lends assist
Strome managed an assist and two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames.
Strome helped out on a Frank Vatrano tally late in the third period to spark the Ducks' comeback. The goal drought is now at 18 games for Strome, and he's added just five assists, 23 shots on net and 30 PIM in that span. For the season, the veteran center is at 41 points through 78 games, matching his total from each of the last two campaigns. He's tacked on 131 shots on net, 48 hits, 70 PIM and a minus-3 rating.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Sets up tying, winning goals
Carlsson logged two assists and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames.
Carlsson came up clutch late in the game, setting up Cutter Gauthier twice. Carlsson is up to 43 points (20 goals, 23 helpers), 100 shots on net and a plus-10 rating through 72 appearances this season, though he's been limited to three assists over five games in April.
