  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Tallies pair of points

Geekie netted a goal and distributed an assist in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss against the Sabres.

Geekie's offensive contributions helped Boston score twice in just over two minutes. He tallied the primary helper on linemate Pavel Zacha's goal before scoring one of his own to give Boston the early lead. Overall, the 26-year-old Geekie has 23 goals, 14 assists and 124 shots on net in 64 outings this year. Monday's performance helped Geekie end a four-game scoreless drought and get him back on track offensively. He has 11 points in his last 16 games and should best his previous career high in points of 39 by the end of the season. He's been a staple on Boston's top line and first power-play unit this season and has decent value in deeper leagues in fantasy.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Lights the lamp Monday

Zacha scored a goal and recorded two shots on net in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to Buffalo.

Zacha netted the first goal of the game for the Bruins off feeds from linemates Morgan Geekie and David Pastrnak. The 27-year-old Zacha is up to 14 goals, 41 points and 120 shots on net in 69 games this season. Boston's top-line center has been a relatively steady presence offensively with eight points in his last 11 games. He is off the pace needed to best his career high of 59 points from a season ago but should contend for the 50-point mark for the third consecutive year. Zacha's best value in fantasy is in deeper leagues, but he has the potential to be a top waiver target in the fantasy playoffs if Boston can get back to its winning ways.

  • Tyler Seguin C | DAL

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Making progress in recovery

Head coach Peter DeBoer relayed that Seguin (hip) is making progress in his recovery and is on track to be back at some point during the regular season or playoffs, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports Tuesday.

Seguin will continue to work his way back to full strength while Dallas battles for playoff positioning in a contentious Central Division race. Once he's ready to return, he could bump Mikael Granlund down to a third-line role -- Seguin has phenomenal chemistry with Mason Marchment and Matt Duchene, Granlund's current linemates. In 19 appearances before sustaining his injury, Seguin provided nine goals, 20 points and a plus-14 rating.

  • Peyton Krebs C | BUF

Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Nets power-play goal

Krebs scored a power-play goal and tallied four shots on net in Monday's 3-2 win in overtime against Boston.

Krebs lit the lamp for the opening goal of Monday's contest just over four minutes into the first period. His goal came with a man advantage and was his first power-play point of the season. Overall, the 24-year-old center has six goals, 18 points and 62 shots on net in 65 appearances this season. Krebs still has time to match his career high in points of 26 but is currently off the pace with just two points in his last 20 games. What is encouraging, however, is that both of those points are goals in his past six appearances. Krebs is best left off fantasy radars for the time being but should see a good amount of ice time down the stretch, as the Sabres are unlikely to grab a playoff spot in the Atlantic.

  • Derek Ryan C | EDM

Oilers' Derek Ryan: Summoned from AHL

Ryan was recalled from AHL Bakersfield on Tuesday.

Ryan has produced one goal, four assists, 17 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and 24 hits in 33 NHL appearances this season. He will be an option for Tuesday's matchup versus Utah but will probably be a health scratch.

  • Ethen Frank C | WAS

Capitals' Ethen Frank: Back at practice

Frank (illness) participated in Tuesday's morning skate after missing Monday's practice, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Frank has been a healthy scratch for the last four games and may sit again versus Detroit on Tuesday. He has accounted for four goals, seven points, 21 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and 10 hits through 22 NHL outings this season.

  • Dylan Strome C | WAS

Capitals' Dylan Strome: Move past illness

Strome (illness) will be available for Tuesday's home game versus the Red Wings, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Strome will avoid missing his first game of the season -- he should resume his usual duties on the top line and No. 1 power-play unit against Detroit. The 28-year-old center is three points away from setting a new career high in his ninth NHL campaign.

  • Max Domi C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Max Domi: Scores, assists Monday

Domi recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-2 win over the Flames. He also recorded a plus-3 rating.

Domi has been trending in the right direction in recent weeks and has cracked the scoresheet in three of his last four contests. The 30-year-old veteran has eight points (three goals, five assists) in 12 games since the 4 Nations break, but overall, it's been a disappointing year for him with only 28 points in 59 contests.

  • Connor Zary C | CGY

Flames' Connor Zary: Eligible to play Tuesday

Zary has served his two-game suspension and will be available against the Rangers on Tuesday.

Zary was struggling to produce offensively prior to his suspension, having generated points in just one of his previous nine outings. During that stretch, the winger recorded just 13 shots, four hits and four blocks, so he's also not providing much in the way of category coverage either.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Three points in win Monday

Matthews recorded two power-play goals and one power-play assist in Monday's 6-2 win over Calgary.

Matthews has scored three goals over his last two appearances, and the star playmaker continues to perform at a high level while anchoring Toronto's first line as well as the first PP unit. He's cracked the scoresheet in all but two of his 12 outings, tallying six goals and 15 total points over that stretch.
