  • Kraken's Michael Eyssimont: Heading west

Eyssimont, two first-round picks (2026, 2027) and a 2025 second-round selection were acquired by Seattle from Tampa Bay on Wednesday in exchange for Yanni Gourde, Oliver Bjorkstrand and a 2026 fifth-round pick, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.

Eyssimont has five goals, 10 points, 44 PIM and 82 hits over 57 appearances with the Lightning in 2024-25. This change of scenery probably won't change the fact that he primarily gets work on the fourth line. The 28-year-old is in the second season of his two-year, $1.6 million contract.

  • Oilers' Matthew Savoie: Returns to minors

Savoie was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Wednesday.

Savoie has an assist over four outings with Edmonton in 2024-25. He has also recorded 13 goals and 37 points across 45 appearances with Bakersfield.

  • Flyers' Sean Couturier: Buries goal in Tuesday's loss

Couturier scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Flames.

Couturier's offense has been spotty for much of the campaign, but he has five points and a plus-6 rating over his last five outings. The 32-year-old saw 36 seconds of power-play time Tuesday, his most in a game since Dec. 28 versus the Ducks. Couturier is now at 10 goals, 30 points, 106 shots on net, 39 hits, 34 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 59 appearances. He scores enough to be on the radar in fantasy, but his relatively modest production as a center makes him useful primarily in deeper formats.

  • Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Secures two helpers

Huberdeau recorded two assists, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.

Huberdeau helped out on tallies by Connor Zary and MacKenzie Weegar, with the latter's goal coming on the power play. With three goals and seven assists over 11 games since the start of February, Huberdeau continues to be steady in a top-line role. The 31-year-old winger is at 46 points (16 on the power play), 113 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 39 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 61 outings overall.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Nets goal Tuesday

Sharangovich scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.

Sharangovich's tally late in the first period ended up being the game-winner. The 26-year-old was scratched Sunday versus the Hurricanes amid a stretch of six games in which he was limited to one assist. He's largely filled a middle-six role this season and now has 23 points, 99 shots on net and a minus-7 rating across 53 appearances. Sharangovich had 31 goals and 59 points in 2023-24, but he's still at risk of falling short of the 30-point mark in 2024-25.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores in loss

Geekie scored a goal and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Predators.

Geekie's 20th goal of the season tied the game at 3-3 in the third period, but the Predators scored three times to close it out. This is the first time Geekie's reached the 20-goal mark, and he's surged to that number with five tallies and two assists over his last 10 outings. He's up to 33 points, 114 shots on net, 86 hits and a plus-3 rating through 58 appearances. The 26-year-old still has plenty of time to challenge for his first 40-point campaign, and that's made easier by his place in the Bruins' top six.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Tallies again Tuesday

Coyle scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Predators.

Coyle opened the scoring at 4:25 of the first period. It's his second goal over three games in March, which is already better than the one goal he had across seven outings in February. The 33-year-old forward is up to 15 goals, 22 points, 92 shots on net, 91 hits and a minus-14 rating through 63 contests in a disappointing campaign for himself and the Bruins as a whole.

  • Tommy Novak C | PIT

Predators' Thomas Novak: Lights lamp in Tuesday's win

Novak scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Bruins.

Novak was listed on the second line but ended up with a team-low 11:41 of ice time. That's even with him scoring a goal in the first period to erase the Bruins' early lead created by Charlie Coyle. Novak has three points over his last four games and could continue to play on the second line if Steven Stamkos remains on the wing following the Gustav Nyquist trade over the weekend.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Ends slump Tuesday

Marchessault scored a goal in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Bruins.

Marchessault's goal snapped a five-game drought in which he went minus-7 with 15 shots on net. Prior to that slump, he had a stretch of three goals and four helpers over four contests. The Predators have started selling off a bit ahead of the trade deadline, with the Gustav Nyquist deal being the biggest one so far. Still, a weaker supporting cast will put more focus on Marchessault, who has 19 goals, 46 points, 180 shots on net, 67 hits and a minus-19 rating through 61 appearances. He's still on pace to reach the 60-point mark despite Nashville's overarching struggles this year.

  • Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Ready to return

Rasmussen (head) has been cleared to play Thursday versus Utah, per Ansar Khan of MLive.com on Wednesday.

Rasmussen was on the shelf for four games due to the injury. He has nine goals, 16 points and 96 hits over 56 appearances in 2024-25. Rasmussen will likely serve in a bottom-six capacity in his return.
