Jordan Staal C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Scores in win Tuesday
Staal scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Red Wings.
Staal has found the back of the net twice over his last four games, but the veteran hasn't been the most reliable scoring weapon for the Hurricanes. In fact, those two tallies have been his only goals since the beginning of February in what has been a cold streak for the veteran. He scored six goals over 15 games solely in the month of January, so he'll attempt to bounce back to close out the season.

Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI
Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Another power-play goal Tuesday
Palmieri scored a power-play goal and took two shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Jets.
The 34-year-old veteran winger has been hot in recent games and has found the back of the net in six of his last eight contests, a span in which he's racked up seven points. Over that eight-game stretch, Palmieri, who is locked in a first-line role as well as a prominent figure in the power-play unit, has also racked up 24 shots on goal, three hits, five blocked shots and an impressive shot percentage of 25.0 percent, which is also likely unsustainable.

Brock Nelson C | COL
Islanders' Brock Nelson: Two points in win
Nelson recorded an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Jets.
Nelson has been on a tear since the league resumed play following the 4 Nations break, tallying eight points across his last six games (three goals, five assists) and failing to crack the scoresheet just once. Nelson also has 15 shots, five hits and four blocked shots in that span.

Morgan Frost C | CGY
Flames' Morgan Frost: Two helpers against former club
Frost collected two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.
Facing the team that traded him at the end of January for the first time, Frost delivered his first multi-point performance as a member of the Flames. The 2017 first-round pick has just two goals and five points in 11 appearances for Calgary, but he's getting a look on the first power-play unit, and two of those helpers have come with the man advantage.

Nazem Kadri C | COL
Flames' Nazem Kadri: Two-point effort in win
Kadri scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.
After lighting the lamp in the first period, Kadri fed Matthew Coronato for an empty-netter late in the third. Kadri has been on a roll since the beginning of February, and over his last 11 appearances, the veteran center has collected five goals and 12 points.

Connor Zary C | CGY
Flames' Connor Zary: Strikes twice in Philadelphia
Zary scored two goals in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flyers.
The 23-year-old lit the lamp twice in less than two minutes during the first period as Calgary raced out to an early 3-0 lead. It was the first multi-goal performance of Zary's career, and the points were his first in six games since returning from a lower-body injury after the 4 Nations Face-Off break. On the season, he's produced 12 goals and 24 points over 46 appearances.

Georgii Merkulov C | BOS
Bruins' Georgi Merkulov: Sent to minors
Merkulov was reassigned to AHL Providence on Wednesday, per Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe.
Merkulov has one assist across six appearances with Boston in 2024-25. The 24-year-old also has 13 goals and 44 points over 47 outings with Providence.
-
Patrick Brown C | BOS
Bruins' Patrick Brown: Up from minors
Brown was called up by Boston on Wednesday, per Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe.
Brown has 16 goals and 44 points in 52 outings with AHL Providence in 2024-25. Although the 32-year-old is an offensive force in the minors, Brown shouldn't be expected to serve in more than a bottom-six capacity, if he plays for Boston at all. He has 10 goals and 25 points across 151 career regular-season appearances in the NHL.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Predators' Mark Jankowski: Lights lamp in return
Jankowski scored his fourth goal of the season in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Bruins.
Making his return from a four-game absence due to an upper-body injury, Jankowski flipped home an empty-netter to cap the big victory. The 30-year-old checking-line forward hadn't tickled twine, or even recorded a point, since Dec. 27, but if he can stay healthy he should have a regular spot in Nashville's bottom six for the rest of the season.
