Ben Meyers C | SEA
Kraken's Ben Meyers: Heads back to AHL
Meyers was reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Tuesday, per Emerald City Hockey.
Meyers will cede his roster spot to Yanni Gourde (abdomen), who was activated from long-term injured reserve. It could be a short stay in the minors for Meyers if the Kraken are able to trade away a few forwards before Friday's deadline.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Predators' Mark Jankowski: Ready to rock
Jankowski (upper body) will play against Boston on Tuesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Jankowski will return to a bottom-six role following a four-game absence. He has accounted for three goals, eight points, 38 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and 23 hits in 39 appearances this season. Jankowski will replace Jake Lucchini in Tuesday's lineup.

Nick Bjugstad C | NJ
Hockey Club's Nick Bjugstad: Contending with ailment
Bjugstad is dealing with an illness and did not skate Tuesday, according to Belle Fraser of The Salt Lake Tribune.
After missing the first eight games of the season with an upper-body injury, Bjugstad has been in the lineup for every game since Oct. 26. The veteran forward has supplied five goals and 15 points over 53 appearances this season. Bjugstad should be considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's road game in Detroit.

Jack Hughes C | NJ
Devils' Jack Hughes: Awaiting further test results
Hughes (undisclosed) is awaiting the results of some additional tests but remains without a timeline to return, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports Tuesday.
At this point, it's fairly safe to assume that Hughes won't be an option against the Stars on Tuesday, though his non-update update should be a red flag for fantasy players. In his last 10 outings, the 23-year-old center has racked up eight goals and four assists, including two points with the man advantage. Dawson Mercer will move into a second-line center role with Hughes on the shelf.

Andreas Athanasiou C | CHI
Blackhawks' Andreas Athanasiou: Scores in Monday's win
Athanasiou scored a goal in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.
Spencer Knight's 41-save effort will get the headlines here, but Athanasiou also picked up his first goal in two games since returning to the NHL ranks. The 30-year-old stretched the Blackhawks' lead to 4-1 in the third period with a goal against one of his former teams. It was his first point in seven NHL outings this season, and he's added eight shots on net, five hits and six blocked shots. Athanasiou may have some streaming appeal if he can make his way onto the top line, but there's not much to like if he sticks in the bottom six -- he centered the third line in Monday's contest.

Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Tallies in overtime loss
Thompson scored a goal on five shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Thompson had gone three games without a point prior to Monday. The 27-year-old has matched his 71-game goal total from last season (29), putting him on the brink of a return to the 30-goal level. He's also contributed 23 assists, 167 shots on net, 50 hits and a plus-4 rating over 53 outings this season. Returning to a near-point-per-game pace is encouraging, but Thompson is also shooting a career-high 17.4 percent, so there is a mild concern here with sustainability down the stretch.

Trent Frederic C | EDM
Oilers' Trent Frederic: Acquired in three-team trade
Edmonton acquired Frederic (lower body), Max Jones and the rights to forward Petr Hauser on Tuesday in a three-team trade with Boston and New Jersey.
The Devils retained 50 percent of Frederic's salary in exchange for Hauser before flipping him to the Oilers for unsigned prospect Shane Lachance. The Bruins sent Jones and Hauser to Edmonton in exchange for Max Wanner, St. Louis' second-round pick in 2025 and Edmonton's fourth-round selection in 2026. Frederic is week-to-week and moved to injured reserve ahead of Boston's matchup against Nashville on Tuesday. He has registered eight goals, 15 points, 76 shots on net, 155 hits and 44 PIM over 57 appearances this season.

Jake Evans C | MON
Canadiens' Jake Evans: Secures four-year extension
Evans inked a four-year, $11.4 million contract extension with Montreal on Tuesday.
Evans was expected to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason but has instead tied himself to the Habs for another four years. Over his career, the 28-year-old winger has been unable to top the 30-point threshold but should be able to reach that mark this year, having generated 28 points in 61 appearances in 2024-25.

Vincent Trocheck C | NYR
Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Picks up assist in big win
Trocheck picked up an assist and had three shots on goal in Monday's 4-0 victory over the Islanders.
Like many on the Rangers, this season has been tough on Trocheck, but perhaps the 31-year-old is shaking off the early struggles. With an assist on Artemi Panarin's empty-net goal, Trocheck has recorded seven points in his last 10 games. Given his status as the top-line center between offensive talents Panarin and Alexis Lafreniere, and his role on the team's top power-play unit, Trocheck warrants consideration in most formats.

Alex Turcotte C | LA
Kings' Alex Turcotte: Assist on team's only goal
Turcotte held a minus-2 rating but picked up an assist on the team's only goal during a 5-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Monday.
After Monday's game, Turcotte has now recorded just two points in his last 17 contests. However, he's playing on Los Angeles' top line alongside Anze Kopitar and Adrian Kempe, and he does have 21 points on the season. Turcotte might rebound offensively if he continues to get top-line minutes.
