Georgii Merkulov C | BOS
Bruins' Georgi Merkulov: Recalled from Providence
Merulov was called up from AHL Providence on Friday.
Merkulov has played three games at the NHL level this season, picking up one assist with four shots on goal. He had 13 goals and 31 assists across 47 AHL games before his recall, tied with Vinni Lettieri for the team lead in points.

Jesperi Kotkaniemi C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: Snaps scoreless streak with apple
Kotkaniemi recorded an assist, four shots on goal and had a plus-1 rating in Thursday's 5-2 victory over the Sabres.
Kotkaniemi snapped a five-game scoreless streak with a secondary assist on Taylor Hall's first goal with the Hurricanes. Perhaps the 24-year-old turned a corner Thursday -- despite picking up a fighting major in the first four seconds of the game that limited his ice time to 11:53, he recorded his most shots on goal in a game since Jan. 2. However, in a very crowded Carolina forward room, it's tough to see the former Canadien being able to build on this in any meaningful way for fantasy managers aside from deeper leagues.

Philip Tomasino C | PHI
Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Ignites comeback effort
Tomasino scored a goal, logged three hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win over the Flyers.
Tomasino got the Penguins on the board in the second period. He scored in both games of the back-to-back versus the Flyers this week, and the forward ends February with four goals and two assists over eight contests. He's up to 17 points, 69 shots on net, 39 hits and a minus-5 rating across 43 appearances between the Penguins and the Predators this season. Tomasino continues to play a middle-six role, but he could get more minutes if he stays productive heading into March, especially if the Penguins trade away any top-six forwards.

Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Slump continues Thursday
Krebs' point drought reached 11 games in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes.
Krebs has seen his ice time fluctuate wildly during the drought -- it's been as high 21:42 and as low as 8:56. He was at 17:47 in Thursday's loss, in which he had two shots on net, two hits and a minus-2 rating. Krebs has primarily served as a bottom-six forward this season, earning 16 points, 53 shots on net, 98 hits, 35 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 56 contests. Until his offense shows up again, he can be left on the waiver wire in most fantasy formats.

Connor McMichael C | WAS
Capitals' Connor McMichael: Two points Thursday
McMichael recorded a goal and an assist in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Blues.
McMichael bounced back from his pointless performance against the Flames on Tuesday and managed to crack the scoresheet for the fifth time across his last six appearances. The 24-year-old, who's having a career-best season in 2024-25, is up to 21 goals and 45 total points across 59 contests. He's already achieved personal bests in goals, assists, points, game-winning goals and power-play points, among several other categories.

Jordan Staal C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Opens scoring Thursday
Staal scored a goal on two shots, added four hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
Staal has a goal and two assists over his last four outings. The 36-year-old center has had some brief stretches of productivity this season, but none of his point streaks have exceeded four games. That's not unusual for Staal, who is more of a defensive center, though he manages to chip in decent offense. For the season, he's at 11 goals, 30 points, 84 shots on net, 113 hits and a plus-13 rating over 59 appearances. Staal has not reached the 40-point mark since 2017-18, but he is currently on pace to do so this year.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Fills empty cage Thursday
Jarvis scored an empty-net goal on three shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
Jarvis picked up his first point in three games since returning from representing Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Over the last two months, he's been pretty good with 14 goals and seven assists across 22 contests. Jarvis is up to 23 tallies, 46 points, 135 shots on net, 75 hits and a plus-2 rating through 52 outings overall. He's unlikely to match last season's 67-point output over 81 regular-season appearances, but a return to the 30-goal threshold is within reach.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Reaches 20-goal mark
Hyman scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers.
Hyman was limited to three goals and an assist over eight contests in February. His tally Thursday got him to the 20-goal mark for the sixth time in seven years, though he's well behind the pace that saw him pot a career-best 54 markers in the 2023-24 regular season. Overall, Hyman has 34 points, 152 shots on net, 43 hits and a plus-9 rating across 54 outings in 2024-25.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Extends streaks with goal
Draisaitl scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers.
Draisaitl is on a 10-game point streak, and he's scored a goal in seven straight contests. The 29-year-old has nine goals and five assists during the point streak. He remains second only to Nathan MacKinnon (90 points) in the Art Ross Trophy race -- Draisaitl is at 44 goals, 44 assists, 198 shots on net and a plus-27 rating across 59 appearances this season.

Kirby Dach C | MON
Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Undergoes knee surgery
Dach underwent surgery on his right knee Friday.
Dach will miss the remainder of the year but should be ready before the 2025-26 campaign. He had 10 goals, 12 assists, 100 hits and 84 shots across 57 games this season. Due to Dach's absence, Owen Beck has played in the top six of the Canadiens for the last two games.
