  • Sam Steel C | DAL

Stars' Sam Steel: Opens scoring in win

Steel scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Steel tallied just 2:10 into the game as the Stars' fourth line made an early impact. The 27-year-old signed a two-year contract extension Feb. 14, so he's cemented himself as a key part of the forward depth in Dallas. He's also enjoying a pretty steady year with five goals, 18 points, 71 shots on net, 46 hits and a minus-2 rating through 55 appearances. Steel should get to the 20-point mark for the fifth time in his career, but he may struggle to challenge his personal best of 28 points from the 2022-23 campaign.

  • Frank Nazar C | CHI

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Delivers helper Sunday

Nazar notched an assist and three shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Nazar has a helper in back-to-back games and four points over his last four contests. The 21-year-old forward has mainly been on the third line recently, though a lineup shuffle could see him get into the top six more regularly. He's held his own at the NHL level so far with 12 points, 41 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-8 rating across 28 appearances.

  • Ryan Donato C | CHI

Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Slings power-play helper

Donato logged a power-play assist and a minus-3 rating in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Donato's four-game point streak ended Saturday, but he bounced back quickly. He has nine points over six outings in February, and he remains on the top line for now, though the Blackhawks' listless return from the 4 Nations Face-Off break could lead to lineup shuffling. Donato has moved around a lot during his career year, which has seen him produce 19 goals, 19 assists, nine power-play points, 127 shots on net, 92 hits and a minus-8 rating across 55 appearances. His production may take a hit if he's off the top line, though not to the extent it would have earlier in the campaign.

  • Blackhawks' Philipp Kurashev: Pots goal in loss

Kurashev scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Kurashev ended his seven-game goal drought with a tally late in the second period. He had just one assist in that span. The 25-year-old has had a largely disappointing season, one that's seen him slip into a part-time role while losing his power-play minutes. He's now at five goals, nine points, 45 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-27 rating through 40 appearances. He's on track for the worst season of his career, and there's a legitimate chance the Blackhawks leave the pending restricted free agent unqualified this offseason.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Strikes on power play in loss

Teravainen scored a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Teravainen has two goals and five assists over six outings in February. His goal Sunday opened the scoring at 19:49 of the first period. The 30-year-old winger continues to see top-six minutes and power-play time. He's now at 13 goals, 41 points (18 on the power play), 88 shots on net and a minus-17 rating through 57 appearances. Teravainen can help in fantasy formats focused on scoring if managers can cover for his poor plus-minus rating.

  • David Kampf C | WAS

Maple Leafs' David Kampf: Adds helper in win

Kampf logged an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Kampf has more points since the 4 Nations Face-Off break (two in two games) than he had across the first 17 contests in 2025 (one goal). Any uptick in offense is unlikely to last in the long run since Kampf is more of a defensive center. He's now at nine points, 38 shots on net, 37 hits and a minus-1 rating through 44 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Maple Leafs' Steven Lorentz: Picks up helper

Lorentz recorded an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Lorentz has three helpers over his last five outings. The 28-year-old is making a decent impact in a fourth-line role, but he won't have an easy time sustaining offense from that spot in the lineup. He's contributed 14 points -- his second-most in any of his five seasons -- as well as 49 shots on net, 139 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 57 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Helps out on power play

McMann notched a power-play assist in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

McMann had gone eight games without a helper before assisting on a Nicholas Robertson tally in the second period. The 28-year-old McMann had a strong stretch as a top-line fill-in during January, but offense will be harder to sustain in his current third-line role. Overall, he's contributed a career-high 26 points (six on the power play), 122 shots on net, 78 hits and a plus-6 rating over 49 appearances.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Bags apple Sunday

Tavares notched an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Tavares has two goals and four assists, along with a plus-6 rating, across his last six outings. The 34-year-old had a hand in Pontus Holmberg's empty-netter in this contest. Tavares is up to 48 points, 136 shots on net, 61 hits, 30 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating through 50 appearances. He's not at his peak level of production but should be capable of getting to the 60-point mark once again.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Generates assist Sunday

Matthews registered an assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Matthews' point streak is up to six games, during which he's racked up a goal and eight assists. He had a helper on Jake McCabe's second-period go-ahead goal in this contests. The lack of goals is unusual for Matthews, but it's good to see him remain productive while potentially showcasing a bit more playmaking. The 27-year-old is in his ninth campaign and has 21 goals, 26 assists, 167 shots on net, 55 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 42 appearances. This would be just the second time in his career he ends up with more assists than goals in a season if he doesn't start lighting the lamp at a higher pace.
