Brayden Point C | TB
Lightning's Brayden Point: Strikes on power play Sunday
Point scored a power-play goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canadiens.
Point has scored in three straight contests and has five points in that span. This was his first power-play tally since Jan. 9. The 28-year-old center is up to 31 goals, 58 points (23 with the man advantage), 129 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 50 appearances. His next action will be for Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Anthony Cirelli C | TB
Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Matches career high in goals
Cirelli scored an empty-net goal, added an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Canadiens.
Cirelli has four points over his last five outings. His empty-netter was his 20th goal of the season, matching his career-best total from 2023-24. The 27-year-old center is now at 42 points, 109 shots on net, 51 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating across 53 appearances. This is the fourth season he's reached the 40-point mark, but the Lightning have 27 games left on the schedule for him to build on what's likely to be a career year for the Ontario native.

Connor McMichael C | WAS
Capitals' Connor McMichael: Snags assist in shootout loss
McMichael notched an assist in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to Utah.
McMichael has two goals and seven helpers over his last 10 outings. The 24-year-old's production looked to have dipped in December and January, but he's bounced back well as he continues his breakout campaign. He's now at 19 goals, 22 helpers, 119 shots on net and a plus-15 rating over 55 appearances and should have a shot at securing his first 60-point season.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: En route to Montreal
Crosby (upper body) is traveling to Montreal and will skate Monday as part of Team Canada's ongoing evaluation for the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament, Darren Dreger of TSN reports Sunday.
Canada's roster needs to be finalized by 5 p.m. EST on Monday, and according to Dreger, Team Canada's hoping Crosby has shown enough progress by then to be kept on the roster and evaluated on a game-by-game basis. The 37-year-old skated Saturday but missed Pittsburgh's last two games. Canada's first game will be against Team Sweden on Wednesday.

Dylan Strome C | WAS
Capitals' Dylan Strome: One of each Sunday
Strome scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to Utah.
Strome appeared to be hurt at one point in the third period, but he was able to return to the game, finishing with 18:45 of ice time. He has four goals and four assists during his six-game point streak, which has helped him bounce back after struggling in the middle of January. The center is up to 16 goals, 54 points, 99 shots on net and a plus-11 rating through 55 appearances. If he's dealing with any lingering pain from this contest, he'll have a couple of weeks to rest and heal before the Capitals' schedule resumes Feb. 22 in Pittsburgh.

Clayton Keller RW | UTA
Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Offers power-play helper
Keller notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.
Keller has four points, including two on the power play, over five games in February. The winger set up a Dylan Guenther goal in the second period of Sunday's contest. Keller is up to 20 goals, 60 points (24 on the power play), 147 shots on net and a minus-7 rating across 55 appearances this season. He could challenge his career high of 86 points from the 2022-23 campaign if he stays on his current pace, though he likely won't match the 37 goals he scored that season.

Jack McBain C | UTA
Hockey Club's Jack McBain: Ends drought with two-point game
McBain scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Capitals.
McBain entered Sunday on an 18-game point drought. The 25-year-old snapped it with a helper on Josh Doan's opening goal 1:10 into the game and then added a tally of his own later in the first period. The lack of offense has left McBain stuck in a bottom-six role most of the time, and he's been back at his natural center position recently to help cover for the absence of Logan Cooley (lower body). McBain is at 11 goals, 17 points, 59 shots on net, 192 hits, 56 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 56 appearances. He's on pace to finish right around the 26 points he recorded in each of the previous two seasons.

Owen Beck C | MON
Canadiens' Owen Beck: Dropped to AHL
Beck was assigned to AHL Laval on Sunday.
Beck had two shots on goal in 10:01 of ice time in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Tampa Bay. He hasn't earned a point in six NHL outings this season but could return to the big club after the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Mitchell Stephens C | SEA
Kraken's Mitchell Stephens: Hits waivers
Stephens was placed on waivers Sunday.
Stephens has one goal, two assists, 18 shots on net and 22 hits through 25 NHL appearances this season. If he clears waivers, he might report to AHL Coachella Valley during the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off or stay with the Kraken as the team's fourth-line center. Either way, he could still be in the lineup Feb. 22 against Florida.

Scott Laughton C | LA
Flyers' Scott Laughton: Scores opening goal Saturday
Laughton scored a goal, blocked two shots and added three hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
Laughton's tally was inside the first two minutes of Saturday's contest and gave the Flyers their first lead of the game. The 30-year-old center now has 11 goals, 26 points, 95 shots on net and 113 hits in 54 games this season. Laughton's goal Saturday ended a five-game drought without a point. Over the past few contests, he has been skating on Philadelphia's top power-play unit. He is currently on pace to match his point total of 39 from a year ago. Laughton's current role with the Flyers gives him some fantasy value in deep leagues.
