  • Kent Johnson C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Finds back of net again

Johnson scored a goal in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.

The 22-year-old sniper got Columbus on the board late in the first period with another slick tally, as he took a feed from Zach Werenski below the faceoff circle to the left of Jonathan Quick, calmly settled the puck down and then snapped it under the goalie's outstretched glove. Johnson hasn't gone more than two straight games without lighting the lamp since early January, and over the last 15 games, he's racked up seven goals and 13 points. Saturday's goal also established a new career high for Johnson, and through 42 appearances this season, the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft has produced 17 goals and 36 points.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Two helpers in Columbus

Trocheck picked up two assists in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

It's the second straight multi-point performance for Trocheck, giving the 31-year-old some momentum as he gets ready to represent Team USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off. Trocheck has been on his game since the calendar flipped to 2025 -- over the last 17 contests, he's collected seven goals and 14 points with 46 shots on net, 37 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating.

  • Rangers' Mika Zibanejad: Two-point effort Saturday

Zibanejad produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets.

The 31-year-old center will take a lot of momentum into the 4 Nations Face-Off as he prepares to suit up for Team Sweden. Zibanejad has three multi-point performances in the last four games, and he's kicked off February with two goals and eight points in five tilts with the Rangers. While Zibanejad's numbers on the season are below his usual standards (11 goals and 37 points in 55 appearances), he may be gearing up for a big finish to the campaign.

  • Zack Bolduc C | MON

Blues' Zachary Bolduc: Dropped to AHL

Bolduc was assigned to AHL Springfield on Sunday.

Bolduc has six goals, 18 points, 59 hits and 63 shots on net in 46 NHL appearances this season. He could return to the Blues after the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off. Bolduc occupied a middle-six role and logged time on the second power-play unit in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over Chicago, earning one assist and one shot on goal.

  • Tyson Kozak C | BUF

Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Sent to AHL

Kozak was loaned to AHL Rochester on Sunday.

Kozak was a healthy scratch in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Nashville after missing two games due to an illness. He has produced one goal, six shots on net, 16 blocked shots and 11 hits in 11 NHL outings this season. Kozak could return to the Sabres following the conclusion of the 4 Nations Face-Off.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Grabs apple in win

Pettersson notched an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

Pettersson set up a Filip Hronek tally in the first period. The assist was Pettersson's first point over four contests in February. The 26-year-old center has just 34 points with 92 shots on net, 46 hits, 60 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 49 outings in a frustrating 2024-25 campaign. He'll play for Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off, and maybe he'll be able to build up some momentum in international play to fuel a strong finish to his NHL season.

  • Kings' Phillip Danault: Provides assist in shootout loss

Danault notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Danault has five points and a plus-4 rating over four outings in February. The 31-year-old center set up an Adrian Kempe tally late in the third period to get Saturday's contest to overtime. Danault continues to be more playmaker than finisher this season with five goals, 23 assists, 78 shots on net, 56 hits, 49 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 52 appearances.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Draws helper in shootout win

Carlsson notched an assist in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over the Kings.

Carlsson helped out on Brian Dumoulin's opening tally in the third period. The Ducks turned to Carlsson in the shootout, and his tally there secured their win against the Southern California rivals. The 20-year-old center has three assists over his last three outings, and he's up to 19 points, 61 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 48 contests overall.

  • Kevin Rooney C | UTA

Flames' Kevin Rooney: Still slumping in fourth-line role

Rooney has gone 23 games without a point after being held off the scoresheet in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kraken.

Rooney has fended off a challenge for playing time from Clark Bishop, who is back with AHL Calgary. Despite the slump, Rooney remains the Flames' preferred option for the fourth-line center spot. He has four points, 32 shots on net, 70 hits, 25 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 44 appearances this season. It's unlikely he'll reach the 10-point mark by the end of the campaign -- he hasn't gotten there since 2021-22 with the Rangers, when he had 12 points over 61 outings.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Hands out helper Saturday

Sharangovich registered an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kraken.

Sharangovich has two goals and two assists across his last four outings. Despite a slow start to the season, the 26-year-old has maintained a middle-six role and is starting to display some of the scoring touch that led him to a career year in 2023-24. This season, he's at 22 points, 94 shots on net and a minus-6 rating over 48 appearances, but he's earned half of his points across the last 14 contests.
