  • Panthers' Marek Alscher: Returns to AHL

Alscher was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Thursday.

Alscher will head back to the AHL after earning three assists over his first four NHL games. He'll link up with Charlotte at the tail end of the regular season as the minor-league club prepares for a playoff run.

  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

    Ducks' Radko Gudas: Unavailable Thursday

Gudas (lower body) is expected to miss Thursday's season finale against Nashville, per the NHL media site.

Gudas also missed six of Anaheim's past seven games. He will conclude the regular season with two goals, 13 points, 67 PIM, 164 hits and 88 blocks in 56 appearances with Anaheim. He still might be available for Game 1 of the Ducks' first-round series against Edmonton.

  • Predators' Nicolas Hague: Won't play in season finale

Hague (upper body) is expected to miss Thursday's season finale against Anaheim, per Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean.

Hague will finish 2025-26 with three goals, 15 points, 47 PIM, 76 hits and 54 blocks in 62 appearances. Nashville didn't make the playoffs, but Hague is signed through 2028-29, so he's set to be back with the Predators next season unless he's traded.

  • Roman Josi D | NSH

Predators' Roman Josi: Absent from lineup for finale

Josi (undisclosed) won't play Thursday versus the Ducks, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports.

Josi will miss the Predators' regular-season finale and finish the campaign with 55 points in 68 appearances. The 35-year-old defenseman recently battled an upper-body injury that cost him one game. Despite missing this contest, Josi's status for the IIHF World Championship, which is in his native Switzerland, has yet to be determined.

  • Sean Durzi D | UTA

Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Won't play Thursday

Durzi (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against St. Louis.

Durzi will finish the regular season with five goals, 27 points, 50 PIM, 40 hits and 88 blocks in 60 appearances. Utah has made the playoffs, but it remains to be seen if Durzi will be available for Game 1 against Vegas on Sunday. He sustained the injury during Tuesday's 5-3 victory over Winnipeg.

  • Kevin Bahl D | CGY

Flames' Kevin Bahl: Will miss season finale

Bahl (lower body) won't play in Calgary's season finale against Los Angeles on Thursday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

Bahl will complete 2025-26 with four goals, 18 points, 47 PIM, 114 hits and 99 blocks in 76 outings. Barring a trade, the 25-year-old is expected to be back with the Flames next season and continue to serve in a top-four capacity.

  • Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Notches assist

Gavrikov had an assist and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.

Gavrikov posted four assists over seven outings in April. The 30-year-old defenseman's first campaign with the Rangers was a bright spot for the team, as he put up a career-best 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) with 119 shots on net, 105 blocked shots, 50 hits, 50 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 82 appearances. Gavrikov has six more years on his deal, and while he'll likely regress from an 11.8 shooting percentage, he'll be capable of well-rounded production in a top-four role.

  • Matt Dumba D | PIT

Matt Dumba: Placed on unconditional waivers

Dumba was waived unconditionally by the Penguins on Thursday, per PuckPedia.

Dumba's regular season has come to a close, so the decision to waive him simply allows him to skip the Calder Cup Playoffs. The veteran blueliner appeared in just 11 games for Pittsburgh this year and saw himself fall further and further down the organizational depth chart. At 31 years of age, Dumba likely still has some left in the tank but will need to find the right landing spot first.

  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

Jets' Neal Pionk: Expected to miss season finale

Pionk (undisclosed) is slated to miss the Jets' season finale against San Jose on Thursday.

Pionk was limited to 51 outings in 2025-26, and he's set to finish the season with three goals, 12 points, 37 PIM, 111 hits and 75 blocks. Winnipeg didn't secure a playoff berth, so this marks the end of the first campaign of his six-year, $42 million contract.

  • Red Wings' Axel Sandin-Pellikka: Heads to AHL

Sandin-Pellikka was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.

Sandin-Pellikka had seven goals and 21 points in 68 outings as a rookie with the Red Wings in 2025-26. Detroit's season is done after failing to make the playoffs, but Grand Rapids secured a postseason berth, so the 21-year-old defenseman will gain some more experience by playing for the minor-league squad.
