  • Ducks' Drew Helleson: Ends drought Monday

Helleson registered an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-3 win over the Rangers.

Helleson snapped a 25-game point drought when he set up the first of Cutter Gauthier's two goals in the contest. The 24-year-old Helleson was scratched six times during the slump, but the Ducks have often opted to dress seven defensemen during their current rough patch of injuries. He's now at 10 points, 31 shots on net, 46 hits, 63 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-10 rating over 43 appearances this season.

  • Adam Wilsby D | NSH

Predators' Adam Wilsby: Set to miss third straight game

Wilsby (lower body) isn't available for Tuesday's home matchup against the Sabres and is still day-to-day, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

While Wilsby won't be an option Tuesday, the 25-year-old defenseman was on the ice during the morning skate, so he seems to be relatively close to returning to game action. Once he moves past his lower-body injury, he'll likely slot back into a bottom-four role, which would result in Justin Barron being a healthy scratch.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Snaps slump in return to big club

Pettersson recorded an assist and two hits in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Islanders.

Pettersson was called up Sunday after a week-long stint with AHL Abbotsford. Prior to that, he had gone five games without a point with the big club. He's at seven points, 21 shots on net, 66 hits, 43 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 39 appearances this season. Pettersson has mainly played in a bottom-four role, and it was in a part-time capacity prior to his recent demotion, so he may still need to fend off Pierre-Olivier Joseph for minutes.

  • Ryan Pulock D | NYI

Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Scores in Monday's win

Pulock scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 4-3 win over the Canucks.

Pulock tallied at 15:58 of the second period to give the Islanders their first lead of the game. The defenseman has a goal and four points through nine outings in January while continuing to play in a top-four role. Overall, he's at two goals, 21 points, 61 shots on net, 92 blocked shots, 34 hits and a plus-9 rating through 49 appearances. Pulock is on track to reach the 30-point mark for the first time since 2019-20.

  • Brock Faber D | MIN

Wild's Brock Faber: Adds two helpers Monday

Faber logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-4 rating in Monday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Faber had gone two contests without a point after a five-game point streak. The 23-year-old defenseman continues to impress on the top pairing alongside Quinn Hughes, which has been beneficial for both blueliners. Faber is now at 30 points in 50 outings, surpassing his 78-game regular-season total from 2024-25. He's added 109 shots on net, 108 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating this season.

  • Bruins' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Waived for AHL demotion

Kolyachonok was placed on waivers Tuesday for the purpose of him assigning him to AHL Providence, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.

Since being claimed off waivers by Boston from Dallas on Dec. 16, Kolyachonok hasn't earned a point in two games while posting two shots on goal and three blocked shots. He picked up one goal, two assists, 10 shots on net and 10 blocked shots across 11 appearances with Dallas this season before heading to the Bruins.

  • Sharks' Vincent Desharnais: Scores in return

Desharnais scored a goal on two shots, added six PIM, doled out six hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

Desharnais had missed the previous 23 games due to an upper-body injury. The 29-year-old defenseman will likely compete with Vincent Iorio for third-pairing minutes moving forward, as Nick Leddy was waived to clear a spot for Desharnais to return. Through 21 outings, Desharnais has three points, 14 shots on net, 34 hits, 35 blocked shots and 38 PIM, so he has fairly limited appeal unless his offense takes off.

  • Sharks' Mario Ferraro: Lights lamp Monday

Ferraro scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Monday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

Ferraro has four goals this season, three of them coming over the last 10 games. The 27-year-old defenseman is up to a total of 12 points, 57 shots on net, 93 blocks, 84 hits and a minus-3 rating over 48 appearances. His career high of 21 points from the 2023-24 campaign is within reach. Ferraro has appeal in deeper fantasy formats thanks to his steady physical play.

  • Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Scores in Monday's loss

Lindgren scored a goal, added four PIM and went plus-2 in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Penguins.

Lindgren has been inconsistent on offense in his first year with the Kraken, which isn't too surprising given his playing style and the team's low-scoring tendency. The defenseman has earned four points over his last 16 games and a total of two goals and eight points through 48 outings this season. He's added 37 shots on net, 80 blocked shots, 31 hits and 47 PIM.

  • Penguins' Ilya Solovyov: Joins via trade

Solovyov was acquired by the Penguins from the Avalanche on Tuesday in exchange for Valtteri Puustinen and a 2026 seventh-round pick.

Solovyov's acquisition could be an indication that both Erik Karlsson (lower body) and Caleb Jones (lower body) are going to be out longer term. In order to make room for the blueliner on the roster, the Pens sent Joona Koppanen down to the minors in a move earlier Tuesday. In his 16 NHL games this year, the 25-year-old Solovyov has notched one goal, two assists and 19 hits while averaging just 11:34 of ice time.
