Jaccob Slavin D | CAR
Hurricanes' Jaccob Slavin: Slides first assist this season
Slavin tallied an assist and had two hits in Saturday's 3-2 win over Seattle.
Slavin notched his first assist of the season on William Carrier's game-winning goal in the third period. Slavin has one point, two shots on net, two hits and eight blocks through six appearances this season. While the beginning of his season has been derailed by a pair of injuries, he has a strong outlook in the second half of the season as he's set to play his usual role of top-pair minutes for one of the league's strongest defensive units. If he can stay healthy, Slavin should be a strong source of category coverage, though he had just 27 points in 80 regular-season games last season.

Jonathan Aspirot D | BOS
Bruins' Jonathan Aspirot: Inks two-year extension
Aspirot signed a two-year, $1.775 million contract extension with Boston on Sunday.
Aspirot has collected two goals, one assist, 17 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and 42 hits across 25 NHL appearances this season. He also has one goal and two helpers in five AHL outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

Ian Moore D | ANA
Ducks' Ian Moore: Manages helper in loss
Moore recorded an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres.
Moore was scratched Thursday against the Hurricanes after a run of 12 straight games in the lineup. He returned Saturday since Jacob Trouba (personal) is away from the team awaiting the birth of his child. Moore is still in contention for bottom-four minutes and has had the upper hand over Drew Helleson lately, but the former's spot in the lineup is far from secure. Moore has seven points, 30 shots on net, 56 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 30 appearances.

Olen Zellweger D | ANA
Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Breaks up shutout bid
Zellweger scored a goal on four shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres.
With 4:44 left in the third period, Zellweger put a puck past Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to get the Ducks on the board. That goal sparked a rally for Anaheim, but the comeback effort fell short. This was Zellweger's first goal since Nov. 30 in Chicago, and he picked up six assists and a minus-6 rating over 18 contests between goals. For the season, the blueliner is at six goals, 17 points, 74 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 21 hits, 22 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 44 appearances.

Bowen Byram D | BUF
Sabres' Bowen Byram: Reaches 10-goal mark
Byram scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Ducks.
Byram has surged lately with four goals and seven assists over his last nine outings. With his tally Saturday, he's reached the 10-goal mark for the third time in four years, and he's one shy of matching his career high from 2023-24. The 24-year-old defenseman has 24 points, 58 shots on net, 55 blocked shots, 27 hits and a plus-5 rating over 43 appearances this season. He's scoring plenty and has just enough all-around appeal to be useful in most fantasy formats.

Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Produces two helpers
Bouchard notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added five blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kings.
Bouchard has racked up two goals and four helpers over four games in January. He has at least one power-play point in each of those contests. For the season, the high-scoring blueliner is up to 43 points (nine goals, 34 assists), 112 shots on net, 66 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 45 appearances.

Brandt Clarke D | LA
Kings' Brandt Clarke: Registers two helpers Saturday
Clarke logged two assists, three shots on goal, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-1 rating in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Oilers.
Clarke set up Corey Perry's power-play goal in the first period and an even-strength tally by Alex Laferriere in the third. The 22-year-old Clarke has earned six helpers, including three on the power play, over his last nine outings. For the season, the defenseman is up to 21 points (five on the power play), 87 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 26 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 44 appearances.
-
Shea Theodore D | LV
Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Nets game-winner in return
Theodore scored the game-winning goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Blues.
Theodore missed 11 games due to an upper-body injury. He returned Saturday and led the Golden Knights with 21:57 of ice time, so he looks prepared to handle a full workload moving forward. The 30-year-old's tally also stood as the game-winner, his third such goal this season. The defenseman is at five goals, 21 points, 76 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 32 appearances. Theodore should be productive if he can stay healthy for the remainder of the campaign, though that's no guarantee -- he's missed at least 15 contests in each of the last three campaigns.

Daemon Hunt D | MIN
Wild's Daemon Hunt: Nabs helper in overtime loss
Hunt notched an assist in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
The assist was Hunt's first point in two games since he returned from missing 10 contests due to an undisclosed injury. The 23-year-old is filling a third-pairing role now that he's healthy again, giving him low fantasy upside. He's earned three assists, four shots on net, 20 blocked shots, 11 hits and a plus-4 rating over 14 outings this season.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Wild's Quinn Hughes: Contributes three more assists
Hughes posted three assists, including one on the power play, and eight shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Hughes has earned 12 helpers over his last eight contests. The dynamic defenseman's offense has been as steady as ever with 16 points across 14 contests since the Wild acquired him from the Canucks. For the season, the 26-year-old is up to three goals, 36 assists, 18 power-play points, 111 shots on net, 46 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 40 appearances.
