  • Hurricanes' Jaccob Slavin: Good to go

Slavin (upper body) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup against Seattle on Saturday, according to Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

After missing the last 10 games, Slavin will return to his top-pairing role and should see time on the penalty kill. He hasn't produced a point in only five appearances this season while providing four shots on goal and eight blocked shots.

  • Jake McCabe D | TOR

Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe: Game-time decision

McCabe (lower body) will be a game-time call for Saturday's matchup against Vancouver, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

McCabe participated in Saturday's morning skate and could return from a two-game absence. He has compiled three goals, 16 points, 28 shots on net, 104 blocked shots and 58 hits through 41 appearances this season. If McCabe is unavailable to play, Philippe Myers or Matt Benning will likely be in Saturday's lineup against the Canucks.

  • Kaiden Guhle D | MON

Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: Returns to action Saturday

Guhle (groin) was activated from long-term injured reserve and will play against the Red Wings on Saturday.

Guhle missed 39 games due to the injury. He will replace Jayden Struble on the Montreal blue line. Guhle has one goal and one assist with 16 hits across five NHL games this season.

  • Seth Jones D | FLA

Panthers' Seth Jones: Lands on IR

Jones (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.

Jones is week-to-week and will miss his fourth straight game against Ottawa on Saturday. It remains unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He has accounted for six goals, 24 points, 78 shots on net, 47 blocked shots and 38 hits across 40 appearances this season.

  • Zac Jones D | BUF

Sabres' Zac Jones: Summoned from AHL

Jones was recalled from AHL Rochester on Saturday, according to Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News.

Jones returns to the Sabres after spending one day on the Rochester roster. The 25-year-old has yet to play with the Sabres this season, but he did log 46 games with the Rangers in 2024-25. Jones had a goal and an assist Friday versus AHL Laval, as he leads the Americans in points with 32 this season.

  • Sean Durzi D | UTA

Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Deposits goal in win

Durzi scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 4-2 win over the Blues.

Durzi has been steadier lately with a point in 10 of his last 12 outings, racking up three goals and seven assists in that span. He's in a position to succeed with a top-four role and a spot on the second power-play unit, and he won't hurt fantasy managers in the non-scoring areas. Durzi is now at three goals, 13 points, 44 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 24 PIM, 14 hits and a minus-10 rating through 24 appearances this season.

  • Colin Miller D | WPG

Jets' Colin Miller: Gets assist in win

Miller notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Friday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Miller has played in four of the Jets' last nine games. He could be in line for additional playing time as long as both Haydn Fleury (upper body) and Neal Pionk (foot) are sidelined. Miller's helper was his first point in 14 outings this season, and the 33-year-old defenseman has added 16 shots on net, 25 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating.

  • Jets' Dylan Samberg: Contributes assist in win

Samberg logged an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Samberg ended a 12-game point drought with the helper. The 26-year-old defenseman's recent struggles came during an 11-game winless stretch for the Jets, so he's far from alone in terms of slumping players on the roster. The blueliner plays more of a physical game anyway, earning six helpers with 23 hits, 49 blocked shots, 36 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 27 outings this season.

  • Canadiens' Bryce Pickford: Five more points for Tigers

Pickford had a hat trick on eight shots and added two assists in WHL Medicine Hat's 8-3 win over Seattle on Friday.

This game saw the WHL's top two goal scorers go to battle, with Pickford getting the better of Stars prospect and Thunderbirds winger Cameron Schmidt. With the hat trick, Pickford now has 31 goals on the season to lead the WHL, and his 58 points through 37 games places him fourth in the league. His offense has taken a massive leap while playing for a top team, and if he can play passable defense, he has appeal as a power-play specialist in the pro ranks as soon as next season. Pickford will likely need some time with AHL Laval, and the Canadiens won't rush him to the NHL since they've already got Lane Hutson and Noah Dobson in place on their blue line.

  • Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Two more helpers in win

Fehervary notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-4 rating in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Fehervary has earned a pair of two-assist games over his last three outings. Those efforts account for two of his three multi-point games this season. The stalwart blueliner is up to three goals, 13 helpers, 51 shots on net, 54 hits, 91 blocked shots, 21 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 45 appearances. Fehervary had a career-best 25 points in 81 regular-season contests last year, but he's on pace to top that mark in 2025-26.
