  • Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Snags assist in loss

Zellweger registered an assist, four shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Capitals.

Zellweger and Radko Gudas had a decent defensive game, but the Ducks as a whole struggled. Zellweger hasn't scored a goal since the end of his four-game point streak in late November, but he has picked up six helpers, 17 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over his last 16 outings despite playing in a bottom-four role. He's also lost his power-play time during that stretch. Overall, Zellweger is at 16 points, 70 shots, 42 blocks and a plus-7 rating across 41 appearances this season.

  • Jacob Trouba D | ANA

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Pots goal Monday

Trouba scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots, added five PIM and went minus-3 in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Capitals.

Trouba snapped a four-game point drought. He also answered to Brandon Duhaime in a first-period fight that was likely retribution for Trouba's hit on Ryan Leonard a month ago. The 31-year-old Trouba is up to seven goals, 18 points, 83 shots on net, 83 hits, 73 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 42 appearances this season. He won't always chip in offense, but his non-scoring production should be steady.

  • Devon Toews D | COL

    Avalanche's Devon Toews: Deemed week-to-week

Head coach Jared Bednar conveyed Tuesday that Toews (upper body) is week-to-week, according to Corey Masisak of The Denver Post.

Bednar also said that a best-case scenario for Toews' return timeline might be two weeks. Toews has been a durable player over the last few years, but he'll now likely miss more than six regular-season games for the first time since 2021-22. The Avalanche will probably bring up a defenseman from the AHL in the near future to help offset Toews' injury.

  • Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Rare multi-point effort Monday

Fehervary picked up two assists in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.

He helped set up tallies by Alex Ovechkin in the second period and John Carlson in the third. It was only Fehervary's second multi-point performance of the season, with the last coming Oct. 17 against the Wild. On the season, the 26-year-old blueliner has three goals and 14 points in 43 contests with 86 blocked shots, 51 hits, 50 shots on net, 19 PIM and a plus-12 rating.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Capitals' John Carlson: Two points in Monday's win

Carlson produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 7-4 win over the Ducks.

The veteran blueliner helped set up what proved to be the game-winner for Alex Ovechkin in the second period, before flipping home an empty-netter from deep in his own end in the third. Carlson snapped a brief five-game point drought with the effort, and on the season, he's collected nine goals and 31 points in 39 contests.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: All-around performance in loss

Sanderson tallied an assist, fired four shots on net and blocked four shots in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.

Sanderson slid the primary helper on Dylan Cozens' power-play goal in the second period. With the apple, Sanderson is up to 22 assists, 30 points, 86 shots on net and 77 blocks through 41 games this season. He currently has a four-game point streak and is on pace to set a new career high in points at his current scoring rate. The 23-year-old blueliner has also displayed his strong two-way value this season, as he currently ranks among the league's top 25 skaters in blocks. He remains a high-level defensive option across all fantasy formats headed into the second half of the regular season.

  • Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: Returning to lineup

Carlo (foot) is set to return to the lineup for Tuesday's home matchup against the Panthers, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic reports.

Carlo was placed on injured reserve Nov. 17 and underwent surgery Dec. 3 to address his foot issue. The right-shot blueliner has been sidelined for 23 straight games, so it may take him a bit to get up to speed now that he's returning to game action. Carlo is expected to skate on the No. 1 pairing next to Morgan Rielly on Tuesday.

  • Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: Cleared to play

Schaefer (illness) will be in the lineup versus the Devils on Tuesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Schaefer will avoid missing any game time after having been sidelined for Monday's practice session. Through 42 games this year, the rookie blueliner has registered 12 goals and 16 assists, including 13 power-play points, and is currently the favorite to take home the Calder Trophy at the end of the year.

  • Sean Durzi D | UTA

Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Pots OT winner Monday

Durzi scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 3-2 overtime victory over the Rangers.

The 27-year-old blueliner got his stick on a Nick Schmaltz shot-pass a little over a minute into the extra frame to re-direct the puck past Jonathan Quick. Durzi has gotten onto the scoresheet in nine of the last 10 games but has no multi-point performances during that time, collecting two goals and seven assists with 21 shots on net, 17 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-2 rating.

  • Lightning's Simon Lundmark: Called up from minors

Lundmark was recalled from AHL Syracuse on Tuesday.

Lundmark's figures to serve as an emergency depth option for the Bolts ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Avalanche. With the 25-year-old Swede's promotion to the NHL roster, fantasy managers can likely expect Ryan McDonagh (undisclosed) to remain on injured reserve. If Lundmark were to get into a game for Tampa, it would mark his NHL debut.
