  • Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Strong season continues

Rielly notched a goal Friday in a 4-2 loss to Washington.

Rielly opened the scoring early in the first frame when he took a pass from Oliver Ekman-Larsson and scored on a snap shot from the wide edge of the left circle. Rielly is on a 60-point pace for the first time since 2021-22. And that could shoot up if the Leafs can improve on their power play, which sits 26th overall. Rielly has 18 points, including 14 helpers, in 23 games this season, but just three assists have come with the man advantage.

  • Rangers' Artyom Gonchar: Trio of helpers in OHL win

Gonchar registered three assists in OHL Sudbury's 6-3 win over Barrie on Friday.

Gonchar is at 14 points in 23 appearances this season, but he's earned four goals and seven helpers over his last seven games. The Rangers prospect should continue to play at a high level as he gets more comfortable in the OHL. However, playing for a team that's largely struggled this year has led to a minus-15 rating, as Gonchar's defensive play is still a work in progress.

  • Islanders' Kashawn Aitcheson: Three-point showing Friday

Aitcheson scored twice and added an assist in OHL Barrie's 6-3 loss to Sudbury on Friday.

Aitcheson has earned nine goals and six helpers over eight games in November. That's half of his 18 goals and 30 points on the year, which he's earned in 23 total appearances. The Islanders prospect has displayed electric talent and a physical edge this season, so it may not take him long to ascend the ranks to the NHL.

  • Blues' Lukas Fischer: Goal, assist in OHL loss

Fischer scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Sarnia's 6-2 loss to Sault Ste. Marie on Friday.

Fischer has been fairly steady this season, earning three goals and 15 assists over 22 appearances. He also has 30 PIM, 55 shots on net and a minus-3 rating. The Sting's captain is on a career-best pace on offense, but defense will be the key to the 19-year-old's long-term potential in the Blues' organization.

  • Cameron Reid D | NSH

Predators' Cameron Reid: Two goals in OHL win

Reid scored twice in OHL Kitchener's 6-3 win over Niagara on Friday.

Reid is up to six goals this season, and four of them have come over his last five games. The defenseman has a total of 21 points and a plus-9 rating through 22 appearances. The Nashville prospect is showing a little progress on offense, though his long-term potential is defined by his puck-moving and defensive skills.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Eight-game, eight-point streak

Ekman-Larsson picked up an assist Friday in a 4-2 loss to Washington.

Ekman-Larsson extended his point streak to eight games (two goals, six assists). He and Morgan Rielly top Leafs blueliners with 18 points; OEL has three goals, 15 assists and 34 shots in 24 games.

  • Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Ties franchise record with goal

Chychrun scored the game-winning goal Friday in a 4-2 victory over Toronto.

He extended his goal streak to five games. Chychrun scored on a one-timer from the right circle on a cross-ice pass; it was his sixth goal in five games. He's also on a 10-game point streak with 13 points (seven goals, six assists), which ties him with Al Iafrate (1992-93) and Robert Picard (1978-79) for the longest streak by a defender in Capitals history.

  • Scott Morrow D | NYR

Rangers' Scott Morrow: Records first helper with new team

Morrow notched an assist in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

This was Morrow's first assist and point in four contests with the Rangers. The 23-year-old defenseman has been shuttled between the NHL and AHL regularly this season, and that will likely continue until Will Borgen (upper body) can play again. In addition to the helper, Morrow has two shots on net, four blocked shots and a minus-2 rating at the NHL level this season.

  • Carson Soucy D | NYI

Rangers' Carson Soucy: Finds twine Friday

Soucy scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

Soucy snapped a seven-game point drought, and the goal was his first since Oct. 9 versus the Sabres. The 31-year-old blueliner has filled a bottom-four role this season as a shutdown defenseman. He's nothing more than a depth contributor on offense, picking up two goals, two assists, 19 shots on net, 35 hits, 29 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 22 contests.

  • Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Lights lamp Friday

Gavrikov scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

Gavrikov has been hot lately with two goals and three assists over his last four games. The defenseman isn't known for his scoring but can rack up points in short bursts a few times each year. He's up to four goals, 11 points, 36 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 26 appearances this season. He's two goals away from matching his career high of six, which he attained in both 2022-23 and 2023-24.
