Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Five points in last two games
Dahlin delivered two assists Tuesday in a 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.
The defender has five points, including four assists, in his last two games. Dahlin sits in seventh in scoring overall from the blue line with 53 points, just one point behind Darren Raddysh. Dahlin is on pace to potentially equal his career mark of 73 points, which he set in 2022-23, and he's also on pace to top 200 shots for the fourth straight season.

Owen Power D | BUF
Sabres' Owen Power: Two points in last two games
Power scored a goal in a 3-2 win over Vegas on Tuesday.
After his team won a faceoff early in the second, Power took the puck and walked to the middle of the blue line before firing a fluttering wrist shot that fooled Akira Schmid over his glove. Power has a goal and an assist in his last two games, and he has fired six shots in that span. Yes, he's taken a step backward this season, and his current 26-point pace is well off his 40-point effort last year. It's important to note that Power rarely sees power-play time, which has eaten away at his offensive impact. That could change at any time, and the young man has talent. He could surprise if he can regain his confidence.

Erik Karlsson D | PIT
Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Climbing all-time defensemen point list
Karlsson scored Pittsburgh's only goal in a 2-1 loss to Boston on Tuesday.
He wired a shot from the point that beat Jeremy Swayman. It was Pittsburgh's first shot of the game. Karlsson is on a three-game, four-point scoring streak that includes three assists and 10 shots. He's on a 55-point pace, which would give him four straight seasons with at least 53 points and 10 of his 17 NHL campaigns. Karlsson has 909 points (1,139 games). At his current pace, he may hit the 1,000-point mark in 2027-28. Karlson is currently 13th all-time in scoring from the blue line, and with decent health, he will pass Bobby Orr, who has 915 points, into 12th later this season.

Nikolas Matinpalo D | OTT
Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: Still out Tuesday
Matinpalo (undisclosed) won't play Tuesday versus the Oilers.
Matinpalo's status hasn't been updated since the injury was announced coming out of the Olympics, where he represented Finland. Considering he was in a part-time role prior to the tournament, it's possible he won't immediately get back into the lineup once healthy. Matinpalo's next chance to play is Thursday in Calgary.

Shea Theodore D | LV
Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Good to go Tuesday
Theodore (illness) will play Tuesday versus the Sabres, per the NHL media site.
Theodore was considered questionable for Tuesday, but he appears to be healthy enough to handle his usual top-four role. The defenseman has been limited to just one assist over his last 10 outings, so he'll look to get his offense back on track.
-
Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Unavailable Tuesday
Werenski (illness) won't play against Nashville on Tuesday, according to Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.
Werenski will miss his second straight game and will remain day-to-day ahead of Thursday's matchup against Florida. He has amassed 20 goals, 65 points, 195 shots on net and 68 blocked shots across 54 appearances this season.

Victor Mancini D | VAN
Canucks' Victor Mancini: Headed back to majors
Mancini was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday.
With Tyler Myers being held out of the Canucks' lineup during potential trade talks, Mancini was likely called up to ensure that Vancouver will have six healthy defensemen ahead of Wednesday's game. The 23-year-old Mancini is still hunting for his first NHL point through 10 games this season, but he's made a solid impact with Abbotsford, posting 12 points, a plus-1 rating and 52 shots on net across 33 appearances. Expect Mancini to step into Vancouver's third defensive pairing in the team's clash against the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
-
Scott Morrow D | NYR
Rangers' Scott Morrow: Assigned to AHL
Morrow was loaned to AHL Hartford on Tuesday.
Morrow has six assists, 24 shots on goal, 29 blocked shots and 11 hits across 29 NHL appearances this season. He also has one goal and five points in 14 minor-league outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Game-time call Tuesday
Werenski (illness) was deemed a game-time decision ahead of Tuesday's clash against Nashville, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.
Head coach Rick Bowness stated that Werenski will take warmups before it's decided whether or not he will play Tuesday. The 28-year-old blueliner missed the Blue Jackets' game Monday due to the same illness. The fact that Werenski is taking warmups is a step in the right direction for his return, regardless of whether he suits up for Tuesday's contest. If the Norris Trophy candidate can't go Tuesday, he'll have a full day of rest before Columbus plays host to Florida on Thursday.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph D | VAN
Canucks' Pierre-Olivier Joseph: Moves to IR
Joseph (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Joseph will miss at least the next four games, starting with Wednesday's matchup against Carolina, after landing on the IR list. However, a timeline for his return to the lineup is unclear. Joseph has one goal, four assists, 18 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and eight hits in 24 appearances this season.
