Hampus Lindholm D | BOS
Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Contributes pair of assists
Lindholm logged two power-play assists, two shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.
Lindholm logged his second multi-point effort in the last five games by helping out on both of Morgan Geekie's tallies. The 31-year-old Lindholm is set to be the Bruins' lead defenseman while Charlie McAvoy (face) is out indefinitely following surgery. Lindholm is up to seven points (three on the power play), 19 shots on net, 18 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 14 appearances this season.

Ian Moore D | ANA
Ducks' Ian Moore: Tickles twine Wednesday
Moore scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Bruins.
With Radko Gudas back from a lower-body injury, Moore has maintained his place in the lineup over Pavel Mintyukov. The 23-year-old Moore is still filling a third-pairing role, giving him minimal upside in fantasy in what's a mostly defensive assignment. He's at three points, 14 shots on net, 24 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 14 appearances this season.

Radko Gudas D | ANA
Ducks' Radko Gudas: Buries goal in win
Gudas scored a goal on two shots, added five PIM, doled out five hits and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Bruins.
Gudas played for the second time since he recovered from a lower-body injury. The 35-year-old defenseman got his first goal of the year, putting the Ducks ahead 2-0 early in the first period. He's at three points, 11 shots on net, 32 hits, 15 blocked shots, seven PIM and a minus-2 rating over nine appearances. Expect Gudas to be steady in the physical categories, though he could struggle to produce offense regularly even with the Ducks' improved scoring numbers this year.

Brock Faber D | MIN
Wild's Brock Faber: Tallies opening goal Wednesday
Faber scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Hurricanes.
Faber ended a four-game drought with his tally at 1:54 of the first period. The 23-year-old defenseman has had one good stretch this season sandwiched around a couple of droughts, so it's possible his goal Wednesday allows him to heat up again. He's at four goals, 10 points, 47 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating through 21 appearances in a top-four role.

Domenick Fensore D | CAR
Hurricanes' Domenick Fensore: Drops back to AHL
Fensore was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Wednesday.
Fensore was with the big club to provide extra defensive depth and did not play in a game during this NHL stint. His demotion could be a sign that Jalen Chatfield (upper body) will be ready to suit up Friday in Winnipeg.
-
Marshall Warren D | NYI
Islanders' Marshall Warren: Recalled Wednesday
Warren was called up from AHL Bridgeport on Wednesday, per Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.
Alexander Romanov (upper body) was put on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Warren has two goals and nine points in 10 appearances with Bridgeport this season. He also has two assists in two outings with New York.

Alexander Romanov D | NYI
Islanders' Alexander Romanov: Placed on IR
Romanov (upper body) was designated for injured reserve Wednesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Given the force at which Romanov collided with the boards after a hit from behind courtesy of Mikko Rantanen, it would have been quite the surprise to see Romanov avoid missing any time. With the move to IR, the 25-year-old defenseman will be sidelined at least the next three games, though it could certainly be longer.

Charlie McAvoy D | BOS
Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Has facial surgery
McAvoy has undergone facial surgery, Jim McBride of The Boston Globe reports Wednesday.
There's no timetable for McAvoy's return, but it seems fair to believe that he'll be out for a while after having surgery. The 27-year-old defenseman has 14 assists, 26 PIM, 25 shots, 26 hits and 32 blocks in 27 outings this year. Jonathan Aspirot might play regularly during McAvoy's absence.
-
Janis Moser D | TB
Lightning's J.J. Moser: Bags apple Tuesday
Moser notched an assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Devils.
Moser has picked up three helpers over his last six games. The 25-year-old defenseman is helping to hold the fort while Victor Hedman (undisclosed), Erik Cernak (lower body), Ryan McDonagh (undisclosed) and Max Crozier (undisclosed) are all out. Moser is up to five points, 24 shots on net, 17 hits, 17 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 17 appearances this season, mainly in a top-four role.

Thomas Harley D | DAL
Stars' Thomas Harley: Will miss road trip
Harley (lower body) remains week-to-week and won't accompany the Stars on the team's four-game road trip, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports Wednesday.
Harley is mired in a 16-game goalless streak while chipping in a mere two helpers over his last nine outings. Further to the point, the 24-year-old defenseman failed to put a shot on net in three of his previous four outings. However, his nagging injury probably contributed to his offensive struggles.. With Ilya Lyubushkin (undisclosed) also not making the trip, the recently recalled Vladislav Kolyachonok should see plenty of minutes.
