Seth Jones D | FLA
Panthers' Seth Jones: Pots two power-play tallies
Jones scored two power-play goals on five shots while adding three blocked shots and one hit in Monday's 8-5 win over the Canucks.
The veteran blueliner slotted home Florida's second and seventh goals in a wild back-and-forth contest. Jones has three goals on the season, all on the power play and all three coming in the last three games, and he's supplemented his 11 points in 19 contests with 34 shots on net, 23 blocked shots, 23 hits and a minus-3 rating.

Jakob Chychrun D | WAS
Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: Extends point streak to four
Chychrun had an assist and put three shots on goal in Monday's 2-1 win over the Kings.
Chychrun played a hand in Alex Ovechkin's go-ahead goal in the second period. Overall, the 27-year-old Chychrun has 10 assists, 14 points, 64 shots on goal, 20 hits and 19 blocks through 19 games this season. He now has a point in each of his last four games and seven points in as many outings. The blueliner has quietly been shooting the puck at a career-best volume, as he trails only Zach Werenski in shots on goal among NHL defensemen. If this trend continues, Chychrun has a chance at reaching the 20-goal mark for the second regular season in a row, even if he is currently somewhat shy of that goal-scoring pace due to his 6.3 shooting percentage, which is down from 11.2 during the 2024-25 regular season.

Maxwell Crozier D | TB
Lightning's Max Crozier: Designated for injured reserve
Crozier (undisclosed) is back on injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site.
Crozier has been battling an undisclosed injury that has seen him coming in and out of the lineup. The 25-year-old Calgary native is pointless in his last four appearances while trying to work his way back to 100 percent. With Crozier on the shelf, the Lightning recalled Steve Santini and Declan Carlile from the minors.

Steven Santini D | TB
Lightning's Steve Santini: Called up from AHL
Santini was recalled from the minors Tuesday.
Santini has been putting up decent numbers in the minors this year, notching four assists in 13 games for the Crunch. In addition to Santini, the Bolts also elevated Declan Carlile from the minors, which would seem to indicate there are multiple injury concerns on the blue line. If Santini does face the Devils on Tuesday, it would mark his 2025-26 debut.
-
Declan Carlile D | TB
Lightning's Declan Carlile: Joining NHL club
Carlile was called up from the minors Tuesday.
Carlile has just four games of NHL experience, in which he has generated one goal on three shots, two hits and four blocks. The Bolts' decision to bring up the young blueliner from the minors doesn't bode well for the availability of Victor Hedman (undisclosed) against the Devils on Tuesday. Even if Hedman doesn't play, Carlile is far from a lock to get into the lineup Tuesday and would need to edge out Max Crozier or Charle-Edouard D'Astous for minutes.

Quinn Hughes D | MIN
Canucks' Quinn Hughes: Three more helpers Monday
Hughes racked up three assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 8-5 loss to the Panthers.
The star blueliner missed last Friday's game with a minor upper-body injury, but that hasn't slowed Hughes down. He's erupted for at least three helpers in each of his last three games, piling up 10 in total, and on the season Hughes has one goal and 20 points in 16 contests -- putting him second in the NHL for points by a defenseman behind Cale Makar's 25 in 19 games.
-
Lassi Thomson D | OTT
Senators' Lassi Thomson: Elevated from minors
Thomson was brought up from AHL Belleville on Tuesday.
Thomson will provide the Senators with some extra defensive depth as they depart on a seven-game road trip. Over the course of his career, the 25-year-old defenseman has logged 18 NHL games but hasn't featured for the club since 2022-23, when he got into two games for Ottawa.
-
Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Two-point effort in win
Dahlin picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 5-1 win over the Oilers.
The star blueliner helped set up tallies by Noah Ostlund in the first period and Beck Malenstyn in the second. Dahlin has posted back-to-back two-assist performances since returning from a three-game absence due to a personal matter, and on the season, the 25-year-old has a goal and 13 points in 16 contests with 41 shots on net, 19 blocked shots, 13 hits and a minus-9 rating.

Matt Roy D | WAS
Capitals' Matt Roy: Tallies first goal of season
Roy scored a goal and blocked two shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Kings.
Roy lit the lamp against his former team just under four minutes into Monday's contest for his first goal of the season. With his opening goal to the campaign, the 30-year-old blueliner is up to three points, 28 shots on net, 21 hits and 40 blocks through 19 games this season. Despite his slow start offensively, Roy hasn't missed a beat in terms of category coverage and is once again near the necessary pace to reach his fifth straight regular season with 100-plus hits and blocks. Roy is a solid depth fantasy defenseman in category leagues and could find a way to increase his scoring output alongside his blue line partner Jakob Chychrun, who is also heating up offensively.

Vladislav Kolyachonok D | DAL
Stars' Vladislav Kolyachonok: Called up from minors
Kolyachonok was recalled from AHL Texas on Tuesday.
Kolyachonok could be in line to make his 2025-26 season debut if Ilya Lyubushkin (undisclosed) is unable to suit up versus the Islanders on Tuesday. Acquired from Pittsburgh in the offseason in exchange for Matt Dumba, the 24-year-old Kolyachonok has featured in 74 NHL games in his career, racking up four goals and 10 helpers for the Coyotes/Mammoth and Penguins.
