Vince Dunn D | SEA
Kraken's Vince Dunn: Adds to scoring lead
Dunn scored a goal in a 4-3 overtime win over Toronto on Saturday.
Dunn one-timed a pass from Eeli Tolvanen from the top of the right faceoff circle late in the second period. The goal frustrated Leafs netminder Anthony Stolarz, who was bowled over on the play when his own defender, Brandon Carlo, pushed Jaden Schwartz into the netminder. Dunn leads the Kraken with five points (two goals, three assists) in five games.

K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Earns pair of assists
Miller registered two helpers, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Kings.
Miller has a pair of multi-point efforts over his five games this season. He's at two goals, two helpers, 12 shots on net, six hits, seven blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-4 rating. The 25-year-old has filled a top-four role at even strength while seeing power-play time, and his usage in the latter situation could increase if Shayne Gostisbehere (lower body) misses time. Miller's advantageous usage could eventually fade as Alexander Nikishin adjusts to the pace of NHL play, but for now, the former is a decent depth add in fantasy for his well-rounded production.

Josh Manson D | COL
Avalanche's Josh Manson: Pots goal in win
Manson scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Bruins.
Manson has a goal and an assist over the last two contests after going scoreless in his first four games of the year. His tally Saturday came at 10:22 of the first period and stood as the game-winner. In addition to two points, Manson has seven shots on net, 11 hits, 10 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a plus-5 rating through six appearances. His physical playing style is on full display, and he could be a streaming option in fantasy if he can chip in offense semi-regularly.

Morgan Rielly D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Morgan Rielly: Strong start to season continues
Rielly scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Kraken.
The defender took a pass from Auston Matthews on a 2-on-1 and went blocker side on Joey Daccord from just below the top of the left faceoff circle. Rielly has been a great source of offense on a team that's been a bit wobbly to start the campaign. He has two goals, four assists and 19 shots in six games.

Bryce Pickford D | MON
Canadiens' Bryce Pickford: Earns two points Saturday
Pickford scored a goal on eight shots and added an assist in WHL Medicine Hat's 5-4 loss to Victoria on Saturday.
Pickford's second year with the Tigers is off to a strong start. The defenseman has seven goals and four assists over 10 games, playing at a similar pace to last year when he logged 20 goals and 47 points over 48 regular-season outings. The Canadiens selected the 19-year-old blueliner in the third round of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. He'll be eligible to play in the AHL in 2026-27, but he'll need to sign an entry-level deal first. However, he could also opt to make the jump to the NCAA.

Damon Severson D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Damon Severson: Chips in goal in win
Severson scored a goal in a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday.
He wired a wrist shot from the high slot in the second period to knot the game at 2-2. Severson isn't known for offense at this point in his career, but he has two points and seven blocked shots through five games this season. He could offer spot value on a light-schedule night.

Jonas Brodin D | MIN
Wild's Jonas Brodin: Manages assist in overtime loss
Brodin posted an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Flyers.
Brodin missed the season opener while recovering from an upper-body injury. He's since logged 20-plus minutes in four of his five appearances, and his helper on a Vladimir Tarasenko goal Saturday was his first point. Brodin has added three shots on net, seven blocked shots and a minus-4 rating while resuming a top-four role on the blue line. With Zeev Buium around to handle the power play, Brodin is likely to remain in a purely defensive role this year, though he could still chip in 20-25 points through heavy usage alone.
-
Jamie Drysdale D | PHI
Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Helps out on game-winner
Drysdale notched an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Wild.
Drysdale has a pair of assists through five games this season. He had the secondary helper on Noah Cates' game-winning tally at 2:37 of overtime. Drysdale is getting consistent top-four minutes this year and has added two shots on net, six blocked shots, two hits and an even plus-minus rating. Without much of a physical element to his playing style, he'll need to pile up points at a higher pace to be a quality fantasy blueliner.
-
Logan Stanley D | BUF
Jets' Logan Stanley: Lights the lamp
Stanley scored his second goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over Nashville.
With exactly one NHL goal in each of his first five NHL seasons, Stanley has already set a career high as he blasted his second goal of the season past Juuse Saros. He dropped the gloves with Michael McCarron in the first period, leaving him just an assist shy of the Gordie Howe hat trick. It's an encouraging start for Stanley, but he's unlikely to carry much fantasy value over the long haul.

Darnell Nurse D | EDM
Oilers' Darnell Nurse: Pockets assist Saturday
Nurse recorded an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Devils.
Nurse has picked up two assists over five games to begin the season. The 30-year-old defenseman is holding a spot on the second power-play unit, though that's not a particularly generous spot on the Oilers. Nurse has added 10 hits, 15 blocked shots, 11 shots on net and a minus-1 rating while seeing top-four minutes. His non-scoring production is high-end, which makes Nurse a viable fantasy blueliner in a number of formats.
